World Auto Sales in San Diego, California provides excellent service. My daughter and I initially went to World Auto Sales to purchase an automobile for her as a birthday present, but the prices were so amazing that we drove off the lot with not one car but two lovely pre-owned vehicles, one for her and another for me! The management sales team is patient, polite and very professional, as we didn't feel pressured to purchase a car but were pleasantly and meticulously guided on a tour of their inventory instead. We felt that the sales person was very knowledgeable and attuned to our life style and price range as he worked exceptionally well in garnering a great deal that was just too good to pass on... After the deal was done we noticed a minor concern, however management acknowledged the oversight and it was fixed without delay. I feel that World Auto Sales is one of the best pre-owned car lots in town for purchasing standard, as well as, luxury cars. World Auto Sales will go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. read more

Ghana and Ivan fruad and scam people. They respond to issues don't offer warranty or any solutions. you'll have better luck going to any other dealer that is transparent and won't hide issues. They false advertise saying things in the car work and then as soon as you drive off thiose things don't work. I have proof of their horrible customer service. Along with a voice audio of Ivan threatening me which I couldn't attach he said he would show up to my job and make a scene! update 6/16/26: after making me come in, Ivan and the Indian guy wasted one hour and 15 mins of my day. They told me to pick up the plates that hadn't arrived one month and a half later and once I waited for almost two hours told me the system doesn't work. The Indian guy is unprofessional and started raising his voice. Talk about great customer service he's racist and discriminates against women lol read more

Ghani your response is un true. The dishonesty that I've dealt with since purchasing the vehicle from you is crazy. My mechanic scanned the vehicle as it had store codes that were wiped. These were transmission codes. The vehicle presented issues 10 days after it was bought. This was brought to your attention and you failed to reach back out to me until after the 30 day period. I would never recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from here. You are dishonest and a scam artist. When attempting to purchase GAP insurance you did everything in your power to make sure you talked us out of it. The only person that was ever honest through this whole process was Ivan. Would not recommend anyone this place. Save your money and go elsewhere, or bring a mechanic and have them scan the car to make sure there is no stored codes. read more

I bought a car there last month and I still have not been able to drive it. It's been in the mechanics every weekend since I got it. Since it's been a month even though there mechanics could not find the issue the last five times we took it in now they ask us to pay for it. I even told the owner he was going to do this and he called me stupid and told me to fuck off and hung up one me I recorded the conversation to have on file and he denied it. They been a consistent struggle to us and sold us a bad car and treated us poorly. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Im 19 years old saved up money from working two jobs just to buy a car that has a leak in one of the hose and keeps overheating it isnt catching any coolant. I feel like a complete idiot that i got screwed over from these guys.Everything has appeared to be fine to my uncle that came with me then boom three weeks later it starts over heating on me. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. Fucking DICKHEADS sold me a car i cant even drive. In the first place they promised to fix the sun roof then a week later wouldnt. Now i've discovered a leak in one of the hoes and I know they wont do anything about it. These fucking shmucks DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT SELLING A GOOD CAR JUST TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE. IM NOW PAYING OUT OF POCKET TO REPLACE THE HOES SYSTEM WHEN I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO SHIT WITH IT. These fucking dick heads man. Just dont do it. AND I DONT WANT YOU GUYS REPLYING WITH SOME LOUSY EXCUSE JUST FIX MY SHIT OR STFU!!! I Also want to add that when they sold me the car i insured it and came home to realize IVAN gave me the wrong car information and insured a whole different car. I bought a car Lincoln MKX, gorgeous vehicle chrome rims etc. I thought it was a little over priced however the mother of my children needed a vehicle to get my children around. I had just bought a vehicle and figured I would buy this one for them. The day I take the vehicle to her the low pressure tire sign was showing. I assured her that the tires were brand new like I was assured by the owner. Must have been from the car sitting on the lot so long is what I was told. Anyways take the car to discount tire, the tires were all four shot. (Mind you this is the first week). My kids mother and her move to Texas, and I have the car shipped, they get to Texas a few months later. Car gets to Texas and the smell of gasoline fills the cabin after a few days. She takes the car into Lincoln, and find out there is about 6thousand dollars worth of repairs needed to the car. I have the car shipped back to California, and take the car to World Auto Sales mechanic, who claims he fixes the issue. I drive the car and Three days later the car is undrivable again. So the mechanic did something to make the car temporarily able to be driven enough to get it off the lot. This is also what happened for the car to be sold. I paid 800 in repair fees, which was a deal, the owner of the place is who I spoke to about bringing the car there. He suggested bringing it to his mechanic, I was happy when the car was drivable, however not so much once it broke down again. The owner Ghani, had told me just bring the car back and I can get a new car, I was under the impression I could bring it back and swap it out. However he was saying to try and fix it or i can let it get repossessed and then come back and get a new car. Why would I go back and get another car when I just bought a car that was bad from the jump. So Now I am stuck with a car payment and a broken car that has been sitting for over a year. Stay away from this place, id been better off just taking a few thousand dollars and buying a simple used car. read more

Let me tell you I went to look around and I was impressed by the salesman they was great at what they do and they have very nice cars to choose from and when I say nice you will be driving off the lot in your new car that same day. It was fast and easy paperwork. World Auto Sales is where you want to be. Very cool people thanks again World Auto. read more

I bought a high priced van which had transmission problem. The owner jerked me around for a few weeks before he notified me I had gone over my 200 mile warranty. How convenient. Now he refuses to even HELP me pay the $3,000 it cost me to have transmission rebuilt. read more

THE BEST customer service. I was tired of going from dealer to dealer wasting my time at dealership from car salesmen telling me to "come in! We can make it work" to being told "sorry but we can't make a deal". And Rahiem took my call and made sure that the numbers worked before I had Uber down there. Everyone there went above and beyond to get me a deal. My credit is not the best but they personally called the banks to make the deal go through. And like they promised it did. I would highly recommend buying a car from here read more

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!! I bought my car in March 2018, and til this day I haven't been able to register it under my name, the owner (Ghani) full of excuses. I had to get an investigator through the Dmv and he helped get the paperwork needed.. Nonetheless that we bought 3 cars total in a period of 1 month... He fooled me, saying he had it under control.. who takes 16 months to get a registration form.. If I could have taken my car back I would.. Will NEVER EVER BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO EITHER AND IF YOU DO GOODLUCK !!!!! read more

Ghani was super helpful in the process of getting my car. Super happy with my Chevy Cruze!

Love their service and that they push very hard with the bankers so you can take the car home. They cared so much for us that they didn't stop looking for a good reasonable pricing with a bank and we didn't stop being in contact. Now I could say we are making the first payment of the car and the car is in fine condition. Thank you so much read more

Do not go here!! I bought my first car here and it was a Volvo s80 real nice until after three weeks the turbo went out. After a week there was already lights going on and I brought it back and theyverased the code with the scanner and said it was fixed. I then had to go over the top in a loan for a new car which I'm still paying four years later. This place sells lemons. Beware read more

Don't waste your time. Called the day before indicating the specific cars we would like to test drive. Showed up the following day and the dude couldn't find the keys for one and the other, the front seat was stuck and couldn't move back so my boyfriend had no way of test driving it. Worst experience at a car dealer EVER. Wouldn't you prepare if a customer was coming to test drive 2 cars? Can't find the keys for one? WOW. Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

I noticed a Toyota Sequoia on Craigslist being sold by World Auto Sales. I actually called twice to get more information about the vehicle and was planning going down the next day to purchase the vehicle. Before driving down I decided to run a CARFAX which alerted that the vehicle has a SALVAGE title which was not noted or mentioned on our phone conversations. It was only brought up when I called back about the SALVAGE title. If I had known it had a SALVAGE title I would have not spent $40.00 to run a Carfax. At least they could have refunded me the Carfax expense they refused all they could say is that they are sorry. read more

I was very happy with the service & walked out happy with my new car!!! Thanks to david & bical for the good service.

Avoid this car dealership! They are full of scams! I got approved for several loans but they kept telling me I was denied and needed more paperwork! Every day was something new! How did I get approved get to leave the car lot with the vehicle and then they call and ask me for more money down because the bank backed out BUT when I called the bank they told me the dealership did not provide accurate information they gave the bank a wrong social security number! So they could not verify my personal information. We ended up just giving the vehicle back and walking away! They act like they are trying to work with you, but in the end they want more money down and price gouging for the loan so they can make a bigger sale. Save yourself the stress! They have very poor sales skills and over price. On top of that they sold a SUV to us on "E" had the nerve to give us $20 knowing we gave them are last for the down payment. Also tried to sale the truck to us with a bad carpet smell and no windshield whippers along with no tier sensor. Take my advice and skip this dealership! Save your self the headache. read more

Following up on my last review. Well I eventually found this wonderful place. They were able to work with my challenged credit. They found me the car that I want it. At a decent interest rate. Zero stars for this dealer. I bought a cargo van from this place and Ghani (owner) assured me everything was ok with the car. Couple days later check engine light is on and they couldn't register it under my name. They asked me to take the car back (I live in LA) cause they need to pass the smog and then register it. It took several months and I had to go back and forth from Los Angeles to San Diego for them to fix pass the smog and register. And again nothing. So I had to call the DMV Inspector and make a claim. After my phone call the next day Ghani calls me and begs me to take the car back to register it on his expense. The phone call to DMV worked, everything was completed in 1 day. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE read more

They first welcomed my dad and I with a big smile! David started the process right away and he allowed me to drive two different cars around. I purchased my first car through World Auto Sales, a pre-owned Mitsubishi Eclipse that i drove for almost 7 years and when it was time to change and get a newer car I obviously chose to go back to them. Bilal and Ricky were extremely knowledgeable in helping me pick a suitable vehicle with low milage and a low monthly payment. I would definitely recommend World Auto Sales to my family and friends looking for pre-owned vehicles at a great price. Extremely satisfied customer. read more

I went to this dealer based on the recommendation of a friend. I was very disappointed in the high prices charged for inferior vehicles and by the way they tried to bamboozle me. The owner is a slime ball that kept lying to me about the "great deal" he was giving me and when I would point his lies out he got very offended. He kept saying he was working in my favor but it turned out to all be lies. I ended up being charged much higher interest rate than he told me with a much higher payment. Bought a car from this dealer, and within two days, the check engine light came on in the car. The dealer, Ghani Southawala, said the car was fine and expected to be paid for the car. Feel this dealership is dishonest. The dealer had to do something with the car's computer to delay the check engine light from coming on. There are many dealerships in San Diego who appreciate the business and will do right by the customer. THIS IS NOT one of those dealers. Conduct business with them at "YOUR OWN RISK !". read more

Buyer beware. I was in a bad situation with my credit when I bought my car. ( I have since repaired my credit to over 700) Ghani took that to his advantage and sucker punched me with his lenders. 24% interest? and being desperate, i fell for it. His cars are fresh from the auction with no type of repair on them and he charges full retail and gives you a 100 mile warranty. I get my approval and he then says I need to give him a $2000 dollar down payment to show good faith, where does this down payment go? In his pocket, he doesn't even apply it to the car. I get in my car which has really low mileage and right after the 100 miles is up, the coils go out, the shock mounts go out, the starter goes out, and the brakes need to be replaced. Fast forward three months, the fuel pump goes out, crank shaft sensor goes out, hoses keep breaking and then and air regulator goes out. I have spent over $5000 (including the tune up I had done) on this car that I am paying $8000 on. Not to mention the rental cars and towing. I have since refinanced my car to a much lower interest rate, but remain upside down in it. Do not trust this guy!!!!! The only reason Joseph got a good Mini was because it was not an auction car, you got lucky. read more

DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET SCREWED. Bought a car in February in 2019. 2016 Nissan Sentra. A week after purchasing, car already had problems, went back to them complained and the owner says, "there's nothing wrong with the car we ran it through a diagnostics." Now today, this past week the car's transmission gave out and did my research of 2016 Nissan Sentra. They had a whole recall on this specific vehicle. I informed the owner, he goes on telling me he can't do anything because it's a nissan product. Nissan had warranty on the transmission for 60,000 miles bought the car for 74,000 car broke down at 80,000. As I am explaining to the OWNER of the issues, he tells me it's not his problem it's nissans. When he's the one who sold me the car. AND ENDS UP HANGING UP ON ME because I'm telling him he sold me the car, also didn't tell me that my vehicle got into an accident in 2017. False car report history, horrible customer service. He will not take responsibility on selling me a faulty car. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
