I've been getting solicitations from fresh start dealers since I filed for bankruptcy but was always very skeptical that I'd be stuck needing a huge down payment, being put into an old, unreliable car or both. After I received a letter from Day One and read the overwhelmingly positive reviews I decided to give them a try as my bankruptcy had completed, still skeptical though. I entered my information online on a Sunday and got a call from Stan the following Monday talking about their program and how he could get me into a car without a down payment that same day if I needed it. I sent him a copy of my my most-recent pay stub and he went to work doing his thing. Less than an hour later, he called me to let me know that I had been approved for a loan for $25,000 without a down payment and that this is an actual approval, not a pre-approval. 9/9/2021 OMG!!!  I cannot say enough about how fantastic my experience was with the dealership they operate through (Auto City)!  I recently filed bankruptcy and the discharge has not taken place yet.  I have to surrender my vehicle and did not want to be left without one.  I began the process of searching in the city I live in for a vehicle (Las Vegas)  I was sent numerous letters from dealerships touting their "fresh  start/bankruptcy" programs.  None of them offered a decent vehicle with low mileage and all of them wanted several thousands of dollars down.   I filled out an application to Auto City online by accident but they contacted me right away.  I had no idea who they were but I talked with Alyssa who explained her program to me and I decided to work with them.   When told to fill out the application online, I found out they no longer work with clients outside of the state of California.  Alyssa wasn't aware of this development and told me she would call me back.  Well, she called back and said Stan would like to work with me even though I reside in Nevada.  From that point on I would only work with Stan who is FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!  He flew me into California to pick up the vehicle, had an UBER pick me up and transport me to the dealership in El Cajon and had the car ready to go.  I had to wait a little while for the finance manager to finish the paperwork but that was okay.  My note ended up being under what I was originally quoted and I did not have to put down 1 dime!  The car is a 2018 Honda Accord with 10900 miles and not one scratch on her!!!  This was the most amazing experience I have ever had buying a vehicle.  No hassle, no haggling, you just pick what you want and they make it happen.  I drove the car back home to Vegas and had her checked not one issue with the vehicle.  I would definitely recommend this dealership!!!  Thanks so much AUTO CITY AND ESPECIALLY ALYSSA AND STAN.  YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! read more
