    I bought this 2021 Dodge Ram from five star motors like 3 weeks ago nick gave me a good price for it the truck is in perfect conditions and haven't had a problem with it it could be a dealer that's sales salvage cars/trucks but they are in good conditions nick is a really honest guy that won't Play you dirty I'll definitely be coming back soon for my second car or truck thanks nick for your help

    I bought a Ford Expedition from Nick in October 2017. I originally found the car off of a Craigslist ad. I must've asked Nick a hundred questions and he was willing to answer them all. He is honest, kind and willing to go the extra mile. He showed me photos of the damage the expedition had. What he fixed and never once's got frustrated with all the questions I had. I'm pretty picky and I trusted him completely since my first experience was so pleasant. I reached out to him again. This time I had my eye on a explorer. Really, I just wanted a car that would fit 3 car seats. He sent pictures of a hybrid explorer he had. Answered my million questions and went above and beyond to meet me on a holiday so I could see the vehicle. If you're on the fence about purchasing a car don't be. Nick has a love for what he does and it shine through. The vehicles I bought are safe, affordable and looks great! If he doesn't have what you're looking for than he will even keep an eye out for it. It really doesn't get much better than that.

Background: CarMax let me have a car shipped from their Torrance CA location to this location. It took a couple weeks but they updated me with status when I called, then via email and text. Once the car arrived in El Cajon, I was notified that it was going through inspections and I'd hear from them when it's ready. When the car was ready, I scheduled an appointment. Before the appointment time, they texted me a reminder. I called to get as much of the financing done because I was 75% certain I'd purchase this car after the test drive. Arrived, checked in and went to the lot to find the car. It was just like the photos and I couldn't wait to drive it. I went in and waited. When I inquired about the time, the associate told me I didn't have an appointment and I didn't have a "hold" placed on the car. I told her I saw the car. She said the car was on hold for someone else. I tried to explain that they shipped the car to the location on my request and tried to show her my phone with the email/car photos. She told me that she's just going by what the computer said. Eventually, after waiting, she said she is going to have someone get the car for me. About 30 minutes passed, and she informed me that the car was in "service" and not available but on Monday, she will find out what's going on. I inquired why and she said that it could be a check engine light or the car didn't pass their inspection. I tried to tell her that I have an email from CarMax letting me know it passed all inspections. She refused to listen and sent me away. I got home, called CarMax and explained what happened. The associate pulled up my account with the approved loan for that specific vehicle and told me he was going to email me a link to the car and asked me to confirm that it's the right one. I did. He told me that the car was in the lot and it is the car I looked at when I was there. He said the "hold" on the car is for me. When I returned, the associate who assisted me earlier told me I showed her a screenshot of a different car and that's why it didn't match. That was very bizarre. I test drove the car and it was exactly what I hoped for and more. It was worth the month long wait and I did purchase the car. Overall, CarMax has some very nice cars, they have multiple options for financing, trades and the entire office seemed like a very nice group of professional people. They don't pressure you to buy a car (clearly, since the one associate sent me away). Highly recommend!

Abbey guided me through the features of this VERY SWEET Benz e-car which, when brand new, would ordinarily be $40K. Here, it is only around $15K! No sticker shock here! Just great customer experience. In fact, this CarMax is right across the street from the $60K+ Benz dealership. This CarMax location has friendly, responsive, efficient employees. Abbey helped me with the test drive to learn how to drive the e-car (attached photo) with clean title, silver color, lumbar support, nice features on the 2016 model which was delivered from Torrance. It has low mileage for only around $15K. The range is perfect for in-town drivers or if you have an EV charger (or access). With has prices on the rise, come check it out! Abbey will help you learn how to drive it! Chris, too, has a great attitude. He answered questions. The front counter is organized. Employees look you in the eye, greet you, and are available and willing to help. Thst goes a long way. It speaks to their excellence. CarMax El Cajon has impressive staff, including Justina who initially greeted me, along with Abbey.

I had recently replaced one of them with a pre-owned ACURA I purchased about a month ago which was a very good car buying experience. The dealership we had worked with was great. I still needed to replace the second lease vehicle and I wanted to replace it with another ACURA. I began my search to replace the second lease vehicle. I contacted several dealerships in the LA area over the next 2 months to find another well taken care of vehicle at a fair price. You would think finding any vehicle in a densely populated metropolis such as Los Angeles would be fairly easy, with a plethora of options to choose from. Not so much the case or at least not so much my luck until I expanded my search outside of LA and came across New to You Auto Sales in El Cajon CA. New to You Auto Sales not only had the vehicle (i.e. make, model, options, color, mileage, etc.) but it was also in outstanding condition and they offered it at a very fair price! I checked it out from top to bottom and it was in as good as a new vehicle condition. We made the purchase and drove back home to LA county. Once we got the vehicle back home, I had a certified mechanic give it a thorough inspection and everything came back 100% positive with no issues. The mechanic was equally impressed. I'm glad to say working with New to You Auto Sales was a great experience!

Honestly, my experience was ok. Have had my car for a bit over a month and everything seems to be working great. It was a prior leased vehicle so it was in pretty great condition! I decided not to buy the extended warranty because of all the reviews I saw on here stating that people were unable to book appointments until months out. This further damaging the car and people not receiving their car back until months later. If I had to return I would not want to deal with Mia Jane again. She was snarky, made passive aggressive comments about my appearance and somewhat disrespectful. Her attitude seemed like she didn't want to be there. I would have preferred to go through the process with someone else. This is a dealership where you walk around and no one is constantly pressuring you, which is nice to feel it out. You may test drive up to 3 vehicles. My car has been great, so I am grateful for that, thank you :)

I even went as far as sharing my private insurance settlement documents ($11,500+) with my associate, Maria, just to prove I wasn't wasting anyone's time while waiting for the check to clear. Despite this, CarMax Kearny Mesa has been a logistical nightmare. I live in Carlsbad, and after making multiple trips down there (a 45-80 minute haul each way), their 'solution' to a minor insurance delay was to send me an automated Salesforce threat stating they would release the car if I didn't show up for a third time on Monday. Maria is 'off' on Monday, and management is apparently content letting a bot handle their business. They are willing to blow up a guaranteed, funded deal over a 48-hour administrative window. If you want to be treated like a person--especially if you've done the work to prove you're a serious buyer--go literally anywhere else. This isn't 'Express' service; it's a 'computer-says-no' bureaucracy that doesn't care about your time, your commute, or your business.
