    Once I found what car I was looking for on the CarMax website, I then realized it was actually located in Sacramento. So I was really interested in this car, a 2025 Mercedes Benz AMG CLA 35. Only 8,000 miles. All of the others in similarity, had way more miles or color and rim combinations that I didn't like as much. The trick was to get it here, which resulted in a $199 non-refundable shipping fee. The car arrived on the very first day of expected delivery period. It wasn't long before I had them calling me up to take a test drive. I obliged and set it up for the next day. Impressed with the vehicle, I mostly had my mind made up to buy it. However, I was flying to Ohio the following day and told them to hold it for 7 days. They kinda squirmed on this even though it is plainly stated on their website and told me that it needed managers approval.. Fast forward 7 days later I set up the time to purchase and honestly it was a smooth, quick experience. The only snag I had was I was only given 1 key, and photos on post showed 2. So I had to pay upfront and have them reimburse me. How much? $1260 for that key! They sent me a check in the mail for this amount, with no hassles. Well, I really was cheap bastard with myself for many years and decided now this is for me. And I love this lighting fast car! I guess my midlife crisis hit me kinda late.. All that's missing now is the sugar baby right??!!

    I went in on President's day. They were packed since open and it was raining like crazy. Miajane helped me get in and out, including a trade-in, in just over 2 hours. Very professional and considerate throughout the process. Painless process. They also let me do my test drives solo. I highly recommend Carmax.

    My wife and I had a very positive experience selling our car here. We filled out the online questionnaire about the condition of our car as best and honestly as we could, and got an inital quote. We then made an appointment to take it in within the week on a Saturday. A few days before, we got the car cleaned inside and out, and took out all of our belongings. When we got to this CarMax we were able to quickly find parking in the customer parking garage and walked into building where some folks directed us to the business center space where we needed to check in. There were two people ahead of us in the checkin line, but it only took a few minutes. Once we checked in, we waited in the room for about 15 minutes before we were called in to sign papers. We thought the wait would be much longer with the packed waiting room, but we figured most of the other people were walk-ins. When we were seated, we were told that someone had already inspected our car and that everything looked good to them. We were surprised since we thought they would try to nitpick and lower our online quote. However, once we signed a few papers and the title away, they gave us a check for the original quote amount. The person who helped us was very friendly and they even called us a lyft back home. Our entire visit lasted 40 mins. We deposited the check into our account the same day. Everyone is happy!

    I have two daughters, and when it came time for them to buy their first cars independently, CarMax was the only place they could go. I purchased a car from them several years ago, and Jackie Ramsey was my sales pro. She's since moved on to Realtor fame, but thankfully, her husband, Rick Ramsey, is still there. Rick has been at CM for over ten years and is the easiest-going salesperson. For years, I have loved the no-hassle pricing at CarMax, but having the right sales pro is the most critical aspect. It all starts with calling Rick and having him walk you through setting up a profile, and then the fun begins. Both my girls could have cars reserved and take their time test driving. Rick is a calming factor for a huge decision, especially considering this was both their first car purchases. It's a big step! Rick is patient, upfront about the process, and does not try to my daughters bought the extended warranty, and the other opted at care to get the cars shrouded up, push additional products. One of my daughters opted for the extra warranty, and the other declined, but both my girls left with huge smiles. Proud Dad with grown-up girls.

Back story- I…read morework a mile down the street from this place and I have been eyeing this specific truck for a little longer than a week and have been searching for an F150 to swap the powertrain into a Bronco. I have also looked at 2 other car sales lots on the same street one of them being Karz Plus. I walk in and instead of being greeted or asked what they can do for me, I have to ask looking at them both "who wants to help me" and I kid you not, BOTH salesman pointed at each other. Mind you they were sitting at adjacent desks and separated by a partition. So I point my attention to one since neither seemed interested in really helping. So I ask how much is the black F150. The salesman says "its already sold someone is already coming" then as I'm about to leave he then says "its actually not sold and for the right price though" then I ask "how much is it". Still yet he doesn't mention any pricing and says "I have to call the owner to see what we can do and how serious are you about buying" then I ask again "well how much is it" eventually he finally answers. After all that, 1) no salesman takes initiative 2) lied about it being already sold 3)couldn't answer a simple question after being asked 3 times. 4)couldn't actually be a salesman and was going to have to call the owner even though we hadn't even started making a deal yet. Karz plus greeted me, let me inside the truck and do a walk around. They made me an agreeable offer and financing and said they would be willing to work with me and my credit union if i do finance through them and gave me a printout of the carfax and the saleswoman even gave me her personal cell if I had any immediate questions. I have lived in this town my whole life so I have seen how these dealerships have changed over the years. The vast difference between both places is astounding and it really shows why one is expanding and the other isn't. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HERE AGAIN.

The first time I visited with my parents, I needed a car inspection because my husband was still at the sea, and I had just moved from Seattle to San Diego. I wanted to make sure my car was in good condition. Boris provided so much helpful information for my husband, and I initially forgot to check the air, water, and oil. Now, every time I visit, I'm so grateful for how thorough Boris is. He handles the maintenance, explains what we need to know, and gives us updates on what to expect in the future. Today, after inspecting the brakes, he walked me through our next steps. I also asked about the air, and he reminded me to add more oil since it was low again, something I had forgotten, oops! Thank you, Boris! It's always worth coming here. I'm learning more about cars thanks to him, even though I only know how to drive and clean them hehe.

In my experience, people usually hang up if the can't make a dollar off you and don't really care if your car runs or not. Definitely would recommend this place, it seems like customer satisfaction is worth more than the job to these people
