She not only kept up with all of our shenanigans but gave it right back, which made the experience even more fun. Attentive, personable, and just a great vibe all around. We started with peach martinis (highly recommend) along with the fried okra, crab soup, wedge salad, and beet salad. Everything was fresh and full of flavor--great way to kick off the meal. For the main course we tried the flounder prepared a few different ways--one fried, one pan-seared, and one bronzed--and each one was fantastic. And then two orders of scallops which were incredibly buttery and cooked perfectly. We wrapped it all up with a slice of Georgia pecan pie that was the perfect sweet ending. Great food, great service, and a really fun night. We'll definitely be back.

We started with the crab soup and beet salad. Both were fresh and delicious. We got the half dozen oysters which were briny and sweet. My husband had the flounder special and I ordered the bacon poached salmon. Delightful. For dessert we had the chocolate coconut pie and I had the Italian coffee. That coffee? More amaretto than java--yum!! It was a great meal sprinkled with the charm of an excellent server.

The venue is on the smaller side but makes up for it in spades with the adjoining game room with pool, music and arcade games. Lets get back to the subject however, 'dem tacos were quite acceptable. The 3-star rating refers to my opinion that they would not be worth $4 each (versus buy one get one free on their Tuesday promotion) and the service was disappointing. While both the barkeep and the waitress were at max capacity to manage a room full of patrons with a plethora of dining and drink orders, I don't remember a single time we were asked to refill our glasses or how we liked our cuisine. It's the little things, after all. The taco's were in the 2-3 bite range, each being carefully made to order. I was particularly fond of the georgia new york strip steak, paired with chimichurri sauce. The corn tortillas were doubled up and toasted just right to not get too soggy. Another hit was the duck confit carnitas with salsa verde. Very approachable portions and the flavors paired well together. If you're looking for happy hour snacks, I'd recommend 3-4 tacos, a little more if you're seeking to fill your stomach.

I had 2 pork tacos and my wife had the fish special tacos both tacos had more vinegar tasting salsa on them then anything else ( see picture ) corn tortillas which where falling apart (stale). Beer was cold and the chicken wings where good on the plus side. Wanted to really like this nice little place but can't recommend it.

There were 3 of us and everyone enjoyed the food.....but our sweet waitress, Hannah , really made our meal even more special. I had shrimp and oysters with a salad and Brussels sprouts. All of it was just right....but the sprouts were very different and so so good. Two of us had key lime pie that was presented so beautifully. Super seafood, sides, service and atmosphere! Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food was good, the service was excellent, and it was fairly laid back. There was a live band playing which I didn't expect on a Sunday night but it was alright. Their libations menu was nice and nicely priced. Food-wise was kinda your standard pub grub with a few tasty surprises. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Backhouse Pinot noir -Silver Bluff Mexican lager Dinner: -Wild GA shrimp basket w/ side salad -Shrimp and Grits -Fried Flounder with side of mashed potatoes -Clam chowder My shrimp and grits were good but a touch salty. My lady and her mom enjoyed their food for sure. This place was pretty packed almost every night so it's definitely a local favorite. They're certainly doing something right for that. I'd consider going back next visit.

Friendly and interactive. * Cocktails were good. I think I sampled everyone's, and most were really good. *Place had a cool vibe What could of been better: *This almost ruined the visit. Walk in and the hostess, young lady looked at us and mumbled. We explained how many people we had 5 with one more joining us. Just stared at us and looked confused. Said we could sit at the bar. The place was mostly empty. Asked again about seating and she seemed lost. A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost. We were debating whether we should even stay. Overall we enjoyed the visit once we got past the door. Will give them another chance
