The view of the lake is awesome . The Philly Cheese Steak was especially yummy. The best place ever and the staff is so friendly!!!!! My favorite place to chill and hang out Friendly staff and cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Great location to look over the small marina and lake. Beer is ice cold and an excellent selection. Food is always good. I ordered the patty melt and it was tasty. Got a side salad rather than fries. Prices have gone up since Covid, like everywhere. But it is a nice view in an isolated resort setting. Really the only option on the lake, and a good one.

Always a fun place with friendly bartenders and waitresses. Can't go wrong with tacos, burgers and Margaritas!!!

Non-existent customer service skills. This situation was handled very poorly.

I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the chicken both dishes were superb!! We started with the shrimp cocktail each and the split pea soup and finished with the Upside down pineapple cake. It was a huge piece. I couldn't eat all of mine. The singer had a beautiful voice, she looked so elegant and it was a tribute to 1957. They gave you a card to answer trivia questions from 1957. Neither of us were born yet so we had to use google. It was a fun thing to do. I'm so glad we took the opportunity to go to the Hotel and afterward we went downstairs to the speakeasy to ring in the New year in Sutter Creek. We live in Sparks, NV so it was nice to get out of town and do something different.

Hotel Sutter Restaurant has been on my list of places to check out in our neck of the woods for a while. We for sure wanted a classy place that served cocktails, and Hotel Sutter fit the bill. Both of us were also craving a good craft burger, and from what I saw in other reviews, the burgers looked delicious. I made a reservation for us on OpenTable just in case, but since it was a weeknight I wasn't too concerned if we had walked in. We were seated nearly immediately, and our server cheerfully asked us what we wanted to drink besides good ole H2O. I was really glad we came to visit around Christmastime, since they were serving holiday cocktails and other beverages. I went with the partridge pear martini, while my husband went with the Santa's spiced cider. My martini was oh so delicious and perfectly strong, and I had a small sip of my husband's cider, which was refreshing with the perfect holiday-esque notes. We read a few mixed reviews on the apps, so went straight to the entrees instead. I chose the bacon jam burger and my husband chose the traveller whiskey burger. Both of us upgraded to the garlic rosemary seasoning. I went with fries and my husband went with tots. Honestly, we were glad that we didn't end up ordering an app, since the burgers themselves were pretty filling! We both asked for medium on the cook temp of our patties, and they delivered. The meat was perfectly juicy with a wonderful charred flavor. The bacon jam was so delicious, and the balsamic arugula paired perfectly with everything. My brioche bun was pillowy and yet did not fall apart with all the juices of the burger. I did not get a chance to try my husband's burger, but he stated that it was also top notch. My fries were piping hot, with a perfect dusting of garlic rosemary flavor and sprinkles of Parmesan cheese. I tried a tot and that was also delightfully crispy and flavorful. We asked for ranch and that went well with both sides. The ketchup was great as well. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Old buildings are always up my alley, and the rich history of Hotel Sutter can truly be felt simply by touching its brick walls (that is, if you believe in the spirit realm). I loved that each table had its own light, but the restaurant had the perfect dim setting for a classy date night. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and kept our waters refilled. We had a concern regarding the pricing of the cider on the bill vs on the menu and that was fixed immediately, with the rest of the staff notified for future reference. It was a tiny discrepancy, but one that we caught quickly and simply wanted to bring up. Hotel Sutter Restaurant is definitely on our places to return to in the future, and I'd love to sit on the balcony some other time and enjoy some brunch and mimosas. If you're looking for an excuse for date night or are just feeling fancy, definitely come relax, sip some delicious cocktails, and enjoy the delicious food Hotel Sutter Restaurant has to offer!

Last week, my boyfriend and I wanted to get some breakfast so we decided to try Copper Cove…read moreRestaurant. We got there around 10 am and breakfast is served until 11 am. Yazmin welcomed us at the door, told us to sit wherever we would like, and there were 2 other parties seated at tables. Really cute train themed decor (including a continuous model train close to the ceilings) throughout the place. I ordered a cup of coffee and Mi Rancho (chilaquiles with choice of red or green sauce, 2 eggs how you like them, refried pinto beans and Mexican rice) with red sauce (at Yazmin's recommendation) and sunny side up eggs. My boyfriend ordered a Coke and Pancake Combo with scrambled eggs and bacon extra crispy. And we split a side order of hashbrowns with country gravy on top. The coffee was hot, tasty, and the cup was filled when it was low. The chilaquiles with red sauce was so delicious!!! The flavor was pretty close to other chilaquiles I have had around the SF Bay Area. There was an ample amount of cilantro, cotija, and crema on top. Eggs were cooked as ordered, refried beans were satisfying, and the Mexican rice was better than most I have had over the years. I was very happy! Hashbrowns with country gravy hit the spot with the potatoes having some slight excess crispiness on the edges with the extra going home for leftovers (which reheated really well in the oven). My boyfriend very much enjoyed his pancakes and scrambled eggs. But he was not familiar with this particular thicker cut of bacon, which he was not a fan of, even though they did make it extra crispy as asked. I wouldn't mind having this chilaquiles with red sauce breakfast once a week if I could! It would be nice to try some of the lunch/ dinner offerings at some point. And Yazmin was so friendly, even with the locals that would stop on in throughout the morning, which always helps for a good experience. Copper Cove Restaurant is truly a gem for Copperopolis.

It was pretty quiet during lunch, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the salad and it was massive -- easily big enough for two people. The only downside was the beer selection. Popped in after a Yosemite-in-a-day mission for dinner, and it was strange. The shopping center felt like it was some strange faux Disneyland town. Very little things were open, and there's also a hotel? This restaurant and the pizza place seemed to be the most bustling. The restaurant has an enormous door that was easy to open from the outside, a little more difficult to open from the inside. Anyway, enough about the ambiance. We had bikes with us, so they accommodated us outside. Menu was pretty basic: appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and drinks. Everything looked and sounded delicious to our famished crew, but I think they're banking on starvation. All the food was just okay, mediocre. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing either. I got the brisket salad. Brisket ($18) was kinda cold and gummy. The cornbread ($6) was a little tasteless. The honey citrus butter with the cornbread had so much potential but was also a little flavorless. A friend ordered pickle chips and that was probably the tastiest thing we had. Our server rang us all up individually which was great for a group. After tax and tip, it was $30, which hurt for such an unsatisfying meal.
