I had the yogurt bowl which was delicious as was the omelette my husband had. We were able to be seated right away without a wait and our server was very attentive. Saw many good reviews of Drift and knew I had to come try it for myself. I was seated outside and quickly noticed how close the tables were together. At some point sitting the person behind me hit me with their chair. I also noticed that there were a ton of flies. I understand we're outside but it felt like their were hundreds swarming us at all times. To drink I got the S'mores cold brew and wasn't blown away by it. My mother got the peach Bellini and thought it was very good. Our waiter was nice but also made me uncomfortable by calling my drink "sexy". Not really sure why he used that word to describe a coffee. Anyways, we ordered breakfast and were pleased with our meal. I noticed my waffle had a cinnamon taste to it and I thought it was a good flavor for the waffle. My mom couldn't stop talking about how good her omelette was and how the potatoes were perfect. If you are interested in new and different, I recommend this restaurant. I have eaten with friends there before. the blackened salmon owner bowl is especially good. My husband always orders the Eggs Benedict. I love eating on the patio. It's rather charming. They have your choice of alcohol. I generally play it safe with white wine. The only thing worse than the food is the service. The tomatoes were gritty, the potatoes had no flavor and they didn't even toast the English muffin on the Benedict. I've been here for breakfast and lunch and both were delicious with very generous portions. For breakfast I had the pork belly Benedict and it was heaven! I'm normally a hash brown girl but their small potatoes literally melt in your mouth. The poached eggs were perfection and the hollandaise was amazing. (Ask for extra on the side to dip potatoes in!) for lunch I had the pork belly panini (seeing a theme here?) with truffle fries and, again, heaven! They have a full bar but can't serve liquor until 10 am, although you can order mimosas and non liquor alcohol starting at 7AM when they open.. so if your looking for bloodys or cocktails, go after 10! We're so happy we discovered this place and that it's so close, and will definitely become regulars. Yummy breakfast spot! We got the Banana French Toast dish with the caramel sauce and the cinnamon oatmeal with apples. The Caramel Banana French toast comes with A LOT of caramel and whipped cream. I personally would've liked less topping but the dish was amazing regardless. The oatmeal was good as well. The apples were amazing in it, so definitely try them if you can. Oh my gosh! This was delicious! The menu offers the regular breakfast stuff and then things like duck Benedict. Boyfriend got steak Benedict with fried potatoes. Absolutely delicious. I was on the first week of my diet and grudgingly ordered the egg white omelet and fresh fruit. Let's face it, being on a diet while your boyfriend is eating steak Benedict means I'm not happy about breakfast. But it was delicious!!
