I was starving when we got here so I ordered the truffle fries with garlic aioli. *chef's kiss* They were hot and crispy. I had the steak sandwich and my husband ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. He said the bacon and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My sandwich was also very good, the bread was fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly. I had the baby potatoes and they were hot and crispy, also. Food did not take any time at all to come to the table and service was fast and friendly! Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious! Drift Coastal Eatery did not disappoint. I had the Protein Power Bowl and it was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I paired it with a spicy Bloody Mary, which was fantastic -- the perfect amount of kick! Everything was amazing, from the food to the drinks. Definitely a new favorite and I'll absolutely be back! Of course yes I'm a regular. Highly recommend!
He picked this place because it was right up the street from Carolina Theater. I had the Cesar salad with shrimp and he had the steak sandwich. My salad was okay but they apparently have no idea about Cesar dressing. It tasted more like a mix of Cesar and thousand island dressing. He complained to me about his sandwich. The steak was too thick and too hard to eat. If you see me there, ask me why. Stop by and say hello.
Had a lovely time at Drift at a recent stay in Myrtle Beach. Went there for breakfast with two littles and found it was the perfect spot for both basic kids breakfast as well as more niche adult foods. The atmosphere is adorable, with a seaside feel but a bit more eclectic. The servers were great and on top of our needs for more water/juice/coffee before we could ask. I got the Mediterranean avocado toast, husband a fruit cut, and the kids both got the kids French toast. Everything was great and they were super helpful when we had a juice spill - totally friendly and helpful when we tried to clean it up. Would definitely come again
Delicious, savory, flavorful!! Allll the wonderful words that describe how fantastic the food is. I picked up a Togo order and both hosts were extremely friendly and other staff as well. The restaurant is sooooo cute and trendy! I loved the neon signs, the decorative walls and just the entire vibe of the restaurant. This is now one of my favorite restaurants for brunch!!
Went here for the first time while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Their breakfast is amazing! I had the chicken and waffles, which was great. My honey had the French toast, sausage links and scrambled eggs. French toast was chef's kiss! We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we returned the next day for some more of their tasty goodness. Our server, Alex remembered us from the day before and gave us the royal treatment. Be sure to ask for him on your visit. He goes above and beyond when serving his customers, not to mention, he's a really cool guy too. One of the best parts about Drift was there was no wait time like other more popular breakfast spots in MB. This place was truly a find. They put Blueberry's Grill to shame, in my opinion.
Searched yelp for a good breakfast spot and tried this place for the first time today at 9:30 am. Cute little place was seated right away. Ordered the ham eggs Benedict it was pretty tasty. The potatoes were cold and it came out quick! Coffee was not good to me. Service was friendly, but not worthy of 5 stars. Probably wouldn't go back. Plenty of parking in a large shopping center.
Our server was really helpful and kind. It was a nicely put together restaurant. Kinda modern vibe. The banana's foster was really good. The Carmel sauce was amazing. The rest of the food was just your average breakfast food. Wouldn't rush back.
This place comes highly recommended, so I was surprised at our terrible experience. The food came out cold and completely inedible. I ordered the ham Benedict and paid extra for avocado. On top of it being cold, the egg whites weren't even cooked. (I know poached eggs have runny yolks, but the whites should be cooked). To top it off, the avocado I paid extra for was instead half-brown guacamole. It was disgusting. The waitress asked if I wanted a box for my uneaten food and I said "no thanks, it wasn't good." Instead of offering an apology or refund, she just handed me the check. I was hoping to find a great local place to recommend to our AirBnB guests. Instead we sadly won't be back. P.S. The decor is cute, but the place also needs a good cleaning. Dust all over the lights, etc.
It's astonishing to me I haven't left a review for Drift yet as this is a go to spot when in Myrtle Beach for vacation. I have a friend who lived in Myrtle who suggested this spot for brunch and that's all she wrote - we won't go anywhere else! I have tried a plethora of dishes from the Benedict's to the steak and eggs to the chicken and waffles and everything is always superb. Their fried chicken is one of my favorite fried chickens anywhere! They also have a great eclectic vibe and their beautiful drinks match that. Add in the wonderful service we receive every time we visit and this spot is a true winner. We can't wait to return for brunch next year!

Absolutely everything we had was delicious. I loved that the salmon cake eggs Benedict came on a croissant the breakfast potatoes were also amazing and perfectly cooked. I got an iced coffee with whipped cream, no milk, hazelnut syrup... amazing! Their whipped cream is out of this world. we will be back! read more

Yes, yes, yes. I would eat here every day of the week if I could. Unfortunately, on this beach trip we were only able to enjoy breakfast out once. So glad we picked this spot and we will return. The coffee was strong - not a great thing for me, but hubs loves strong coffee. I had a mermaid mimosa and a Bloody Mary. My husband had a Bloody Maria (we both agreed the Bloody Mary was better). I couldn't decide if I wanted a Benedict or something else, so I ended up with the Mediterranean Avocado Toast and added a poached egg and it was excellent! I also ordered a side of fresh fruit and it was SO fresh and good. I love that there were perfectly ripe sliced bananas in it! My husband got the Pork Belly Benedict and loved it. Had some downtime over at the hospital and thought I'd check out Drift...sat a the bar and Taylor took care of me. Quick service with a smile. Had a Bloody Mary and decided to stay for breakfast. The food was really good! Drift did not disappoint us! My children had the chicken and waffles, the Belgian waffle and the everything bagel sandwich and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the lobster omelette without bacon! It was pleasing to my palette! We also had some iced coffees and mimosas and they were very tasty! It was a great brunch experience with my adult children! If you're staying in Myrtle Beach you should travel an extra 10 minutes to this absolutely lovely place called Drift. We've been enjoying many local restaurants and they always tend to have the best food and service. Drift did not disappoint! Allison was our server and she greeted us warmly and quickly took our coffee order and brought us water. They have a full coffee bar, but if you just want a great cup of coffee you will appreciate the large mug that is served. I had a caramel macchiato and hubby had a double espresso. The menu has many options. The chorizo hash is what drew hubby to choose Drift, so he had the chorizo benedict. It was delicious and had just the right kick of spice. I ordered the spinach scramble which was excellent. It also had mushrooms, caramelized onions, peppers, mozzarella cheese and was served with your choice of potatoes or grits; I chose grits. These are not Cracker Barrel tasteless grits...these are delicious, creamy grits! Everything was amazing and I felt bad leaving half of my food behind. Hubby helped but the portions are generous! Other reviews mention the cute decor and the neon pink affirmation in the ladies room is a testament to this. We will be stopping by on our way out of MB later this week to try some of the other menu options. read more

Very good breakfast! Friendly staff! Nice atmosphere! We had chicken and waffles it was good. Chicken was extra breaded, we removed some because we just don't like that much breading, but it was good. Kids pancake, scrambled eggs and bacon. Plenty for a kid to eat. Good bacon Supreme Scrambled , very good with the potatoes! Drift special with poached egg hard and potatoes. Very good. We couldn't eat all the food good portion size for the price. We will be back on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. read more

FAVORITE brunch spot in Myrtle Beach. Atmosphere is very relaxing and servers are super friendly. We've been two times and are obsessed with their chicken and waffles and eggs benedict. Love that they serve the duck confit benedict on a croissant. Also our shared favorite items -the fried chicken tenders are so crunchy and juicy, and the baby potatoes are addicting! read more
Love the neon lights and decor at this place. It has a really cute tropical brunch vibe and the food was amazing! We came on a Sunday morning and was seated instantly upon arrival. Service was great. We ordered a few things of the menu in order to have a real tasting experience here and we were not disappointed. We ordered the chicken and waffles -- which was indeed my favorite along with the lobster omelette, and the ultimate bagel. Ate breakfast here twice on our vacation to Myrtle Beach, salmon avo toast and chorizo egg Benedict was awesome. Wife had the waffle that my 1 year old couldn't get enough of. Overall staff was very nice and had a real friendly atmosphere. read more

We have been coming here for a year now. Food was always really good but the past few times we've been here the food hasn't been the same. I know the menu has changed (not for the better in my opinion) but it hasn't changed enough for the food to be coming out completely different. Past few experiences have turned me off to be honest... I hope they get back on track. read more

I'm truly in love with this place.. Busy as soon as we step in on a Saturday morning. We opted to eat at the bar. Come to find out, many locals love this spot also. So it's a treat to be handle to hang with them in a touristy area. Greeted by the sweet and handsome bartender. I opted to try one of the mimosas. I don't know what it is. But omg it was good. I had 3. My friend wanted something but was in decisive so the bartender ask a couple of questions but have him answer quick. Both concoctions came out greats he truly enjoyed it. I ordered the trio: 5/5 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 pancake, it touch the spot. Fluffy pancakes , eggs were cooked perfect and sausages were juicy and nicely fried My friend picked the steak and eggs. And how dare he asked for A1 sauce. Yes I was totally judging. Luckily he didn't need it. And I would've been upset if he even used it. He really like his steak. And had a piece. It were perfection. Staffs were all on point. Plenty of help and all orders were brought out accordingly. read more

This place was found by accident as we weren't looking in this area. So Happy my GF found this place! The ambiance was a type of coastal feel, super clean and fantastic service! The food (Duck Benedict) is as suggested by the bartender and did not disappoint. My GF said she enjoyed her Salmon Benedict and would get it again. This place was very relaxed and I'd definitely return if ever back in Myrtle Beach. read more

1. CHICKEN & WAFFLES (fried buttermilk boneless chicken thigh on a belgian waffle with syrup and powered sugar) 2. DRIFT SHRIMP & GRITS (Sautéed shrimp, andouille sausage,(mix of black bean/flame-roasted corn/bell peppers/onion/tomato) housemade creole sauce over yellow stone grits and scallions with rustic panini toast smeared with garlic herb butter) 3. CHOCOLATE DREAM (two belgian waffles, topped with chocolate chips, bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and a drizzle of nutella, with powder sugar and syrup) 4. SUNRISE SPINACH SCRAMBLE (scrambled eggs over sauteed spinach, wild mushroom blend, caramelized onions, roasted red bell peppers and spicy pepper jack cheese) 5. Since it was in the midst of brunch rush, we waited a bit, but was seated shortly after about 15 minutes. We started with the apps: octopus and the tuna tartare. The octopus was good, the roasted tomatoes gave it some oomph. The tuna tartare was just diced raw fish on top of mash avocado, so basically like poke in a way?? Nothing special, could easily make this at home. We ordered the pork belly Benedict, which just screamed moms name, and it was yummm. The shrimp and grits was also good, but wasn't all that. Our standard for shrimp grits is high as we are a shrimp and grits connoisseur, and this one was ok. The chicken and waffles was average, like chicken and waffles is just chicken and waffles. We also ordered the s'mores cold brew, which you guessed it, tasted like s'mores! It had a slight taste of kahlúa, which was odd. Service was great by our amazing server, RJ! Bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing. This place was booming. So we knew it was going to be good. Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, so it was so hard to pick just one thing. I settled on breakfast. It was delicious. My fiancée got the pork belly sandwich, left an empty plate. This will be a place we visit until I've tried everything on the menu. Haha I am here to hype up these damn breakfast potatoes, what in the world do they prepare these things with? Like I have been thinking about these breakfast potatoes since I left. These potatoes hit the spot, like 100% compatibility with my taste buds for sure. Anyways, I came here on mothers day with a group of friends for our last vacation outing & was very pleased with the breakfast I had. I got steak & eggs, wanted to keep it simple, but the potatoes were amazing for the 1,000 time! Mimosas were also really good, they have a unique mermaid one that was memorable! My sister ordered shrimp and grits, they were very unique and added a corn and bean topping which surprisingly paired really well with the whole dish. Food presentations were also nice.
