It was also fantastic that they are open Sundays. I can't say whether their prices were great or not, because I left without buying a thing. They had practically nothing in stock, the salesperson we dealt with didn't seem to have a clue about fitting shoes or the products the store carries. The salesperson did not measure my daughter's feet, even though I said I wasn't sure of her size. Instead she brought the sizes they had left, none of which were right. When I asked as to whether they had other sizes from the different makers they carried, she reacted as if the thought had never occurred to her and she did run back to check. She came out with another pair, but again wrong. Of course measuring her foot would've saved a lot of time. Other dance shoe shops I've been to spend time and care in the fitting process. I did see the owner or manager. She was busy throwing one of her employees under a bus for making a mess of the stock room while trying to made amends with another customer whose time was also apparently being wasted. There was one rack of leotards for toddlers, but it was pretty bare. I was told they were going to put an order in this week, but that really doesn't help us. I assume they just had their busiest time and perhaps didn't plan on the high volume of business. I hope they are better organized next year when I try again.

To be very clear, had we not come in, our sizes would have been way off! They got us fitted, gave us some insight, and our tuxedos were the best fitting of the 10 total groomsmen. I brought in a terry cloth robe that had a two-inch section of the fabric loops unraveling - a tricky kind of damage to repair neatly. Not only did they fix the issue perfectly, but they also had it ready for me first thing the next morning. When I picked it up, I was amazed. The repair was seamless. Not sure if I wanted to buy jeans at full price knowing about sales going on online. TMI. Having worked in customer service a lot over the years, I am well aware of how difficult people can be. I was the difficult person today. From the girl in the show room - which is small but lovely and very well stocked to the ANGEL in the dressing room that was patient while I tried on about 10 pairs of jeans - I found the perfect outfit that fixed my incredibly bad day. Patient is not coming close to giving her credit. She offered her input, sizes and was so kind. What a wonderful place. Thank you. In case anyone cares I ended up with 501 originals length 30 and I'm 5'4. I think they run true to size - I'm in between sizes so don't quote me. They're my favorite.
