I have dined here at least once a month over the past 2 years and I have left satisfied every single time. Love coming here! We visit Elko about once/twice a year and Dreez is always a must! We are from Phx and there's not one bkfast place that has compared to Dreez! The pistacho waffle, chocolate chips pancakes, steak! Everything is so so delicious! The atmosphere is so inviting and modern. Today in particular it was extra pleasant because we had the sweetest and most attentive waitress Zoila, eres genial! She was patient as our toddler attempted to order for himself and helped him pick what he wanted, and make sure his food was out first so we avoided a meltdown. Nicest breakfast we've had in a while! This was such a nice stop in Elko. We had our two BOG dogs and the staff from the host to the owners everyone made us feel welcomed. The menu is HUGE, with awesome options (maybe some corned beef one day?) We came here a little after 5pm on a Saturday (They open at 5 for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday). It was not very busy and we were seated right away. The place has a nice comfortable feel to it and the bar area is large and nicely appointed. We ordered drinks and I was happy to see they had a nice bottled beer selection. We wanted to order the fried green beans for an appetizer but our server Emily told us that they had ran out the night before. So we decided on the fried cheese ravioli. My wife ordered the buffalo burger with onion rings and I ordered the steak sandwich with fries we both chose the dinner salads. Our appetizer and salads came out quickly and were delicious. Our entrees came out a short time later and looked amazing. They were both fabulous! Emily did a fantastic job taking care of us and we really enjoyed the experience. We learned that the business has been open since May 2017 and the building was completely remodeled and serves dinner Thursday-Saturday night and serves breakfast and lunch from 7am-2pm seven days a week. read more

I'm unsure why this place is rated so high as the service and food were both pretty meh. I fell for the gimmick and ordered the pistachio waffle expecting some pistachios. Instead, it appears I was served a green food-color dyed waffle made with almond extract and no hint of pistachios. The bacon was limp and fatty. My husband said the gravy was good but the biscuits were burnt on the bottom. While our food was served fairly fast, the wait staff never returned to our table and we had a heck of a time finding someone to take our money. Traveling through Elko and was hangry, so pulled up Yelp to find something to vanquish the tummy rumble monster which led us to Dreeze. As pulled up and parked my initial thought from viewing the outside was this was not going to be anything special. Well as we walked in I could hear a voice in my head saying this is why you don't judge a book by its cover! The inside was bright, clean and nice with a country sheik vibe. It appeared they may have recently remolded. While it was busy inside but not yet packed we were instantly greeted and sat. The waitress quickly took our drink order and gave us time to review the offerings. I settled on the The Benny which is eggs Benedict with a chipotle hollandaise sauce. They had a couple of side dish options and I chose the chili infused hash browns which were unique and tasty! The chipotle hollandaise on the Benny was also very unique and very tasty! So while my breakfast was awesome what really made it was my daughter ordered the pancakes and bacon, and inhaled it! She said they were the best pancakes she had ever had, very fluffy and cooked perfect. Plus they had real maple syrup which is essential for good pancakes. The bacon was quality and cooked perfect. It was not crispy and brittle like most places but rather still a little wiggly and soft just like bacon was meant to be eaten! I really love places that are willing to step outside the box and try to bring a little flair to the breakfast staples. I ordered by phone., I was told 20 mins. I was there in 20 minutes. The blond woman says it's not ready yet! "you will have to wait." Unpleasantly and rudely, she walked away. I sat down and waited again. An American woman beside me got her order, but I was there before her. I patiently waited for another 15 minutes. I asked the woman by the cash register again; she said I will take a look. She said my order still needs to be placed. I told her to check the bag behind her. Then she asked me what my name was. This was over 30 minutes of waiting on the waiting bench without the staff asking if I needed anything. I was completely turned off that the woman did not care, and her answer was she was too busy with the 17 tables she was working on. I just walked away and told her the bag behind her had been there since I entered the restaurant. My food is already cold, sitting for "45 minutes" behind the counter. The woman wasn't apologetic; she sounded like she was giving me a favor by taking my order. My color is not white, and I am an Asian; I guess I don't count. Everyone told me to go here. I was told it was great. So, I had high expectations. I was let down. Our waitress was horrible, over worked. She over charged us and we sat at our table for about 25 minutes before she had time to take our order. She did keep dropping by to yell us she was really busy and would get to us when she could. So, on top of that. I ordered the waffles. I think the recipe was for rubber bands. I ate the whipping cream and strawberries. That was at least edible. I don't know what is going on there, but we had terrible service a food. I do NOT recommend this place. We were just passing through on a road trip and I'm so glad we stopped here for breakfast! We ordered the Diablo omelette and veggie omelette. We tried both the country potatoes and the hash browns infused with chilis. We loved that we had the option for a pancake or toast. The pancakes had great flavor.
