We had our shower redone with Dreamstyle. And first I will say it was very expensive. Now, I'm of the opinion that you get what you pay for, and we could afford it so the expense was not a concern for me, however for many having paid what we paid to have delay after delay and issue after issue was certainly not ideal and this is the reason for the 3 stars. I also want to say that all the installers who came to our house were nice and respectful and did the best they could. From the beginning we had been told it would be a 1-day project, from the sales person to the scheduling person all said 1 day project and then waiting 24 hours before use. We were also told that keeping our $4,000, dual hinge, glass shower door would be no problem. We also signed up for the project November 22nd of 2022. Our day of install was finally scheduled on Friday, February 17th, 2023. When the installers came on the day of install the first thing they told me was, this is going to be a 2 day project. Honestly, I suspected as much so I wasn't upset but a phone call to tell me what to expect would have been way better experience than being told when they show up. Not to mention the fact that they had 4 months to figure that part out. This also presented a challenge for us since my wife and I had planned to visit friends on Saturday afternoon and stay the night until Sunday. It turns out the reason for the 2 day project was because they needed to wait for some kind of quik-set to dry. However, when they showed up on Saturday the 18th it was still not dry. So the next option would be to wait until Sunday, which our installers were willing to do but of course we could not accommodate. We were told by our installers that they had projects all day Monday so the soonest they could come back was Tuesday the 21st. Which we agreed to and had no use of our shower for that entire time. On Tuesday two entirely new people showed up to finish the install. This seemed strange because it felt like the delay until Tuesday was specifically the original installers schedule not their entire team but either way new people showed up. They worked for the whole day Tuesday but then said that they couldn't install the door. This was a big deal because we would never have agreed to the project if we knew they couldn't do that and we had been reassured by numerous folks that it was fine. We agreed that the installers could discuss with those who had told us it was fine in order to find a solution to the problem. So now, this is a 3 day project and it's taken 6 days to complete. Lucky on day 3 the installers have come up with a way to install the door and they do. Once finished there are still 2 shelves and a shaving step that we're told can easily be added on later and they they just hadn't been received yet. Also our door would only pull out even though its a dual hinge and when asked about it I was told they can't make it go both ways. Discussions were had about the ability to fix the door, I didn't believe the installer so I called the company and when the glass guy Nick, showed up he fixed it right up which was fantastic. Nick was able to make a small adjustment and give us a new water guard along with cleaning and lubing up the hinges. However, Nick didn't come until Monday March 13th. He did have the remaining parts but the second batch of installers had not taken into account the placement of the shower knob and the shelving to line up. So we needed someone to come later who had all the necessary parts and pieces to properly finish the job. Luckily they came the very next day, March 14th. But when he showed up, despite having told my concerns to the project manger and Nick the glass guys having said that he texted pictures of the issue, the now 3rd set of installers said he didn't have all the pieces he needed and it would be best to come and finish the job the next day, March 15th. Which he did, Jose E. and Jose C. showed up today and finished the job as was originally sold. So a project signed for in November which was scheduled for February apparently didn't have all the parts in until March and what was sold as a 1 day project turned into a 5 day project and took 27 days to complete. I want to shout out specifically Nick, Jose E. and Jose C. for doing some great work. But they can't get 5 stars. The miss communication, along with need to be available for 6 some odd days to show, discuss and figure out how to complete my project, not to mention the time in-between when we had a functional but half finished shower, and the disparity on the abilty for some installers to solve problems & others who were clearly more competent all for almost $15,000 makes this a must be 3 stars. The only reason they got 3 stars is at the end of the day we did get what we wanted. I honestly don't think i would recommend them to our friends and family unfortunately and this is my recommendation to those who read this. read more

Two weeks ago, it couldn't be opened. It took awhile just to get it to open and close on one side. I called the Phoenix office to get it fixed, but I kept getting voicemail. I called the local Tucson office and talked to someone in the service department. She said a serviceman would be out in 1-2 days. They never showed. I made at least five calls to the Tucson office and got nothing but voicemail. No response, even after threatening to leave negative reviews on Yelp and Google. Still no response. DreamStyle Remodeling Does not Honor Their Lifetime Warranty Representation On January 20, 2025 we started to call DreamStyle's customer service to request help repairing the shower we purchased in 2019 that came with a "lifetime warranty". During a shower some of the parts from the shower fell into the shower floor. This is something we did not know how to put back together. When my husband called the customer service number, he was quickly transferred to another phone number. It always rolled over to voice mail. Over the course of a week, he left 3 messages. The following Monday he again called the customer service number in both Phoenix and Albuquerque and requested to talk to a supervisor regarding not receiving call backs from messages. A supervisor was not available at either site, but he was assured by both that he would receive a call back that day. Three days later and we have not received a call back from anyone. We have now reached the conclusion that we are being intentionally ghosted and there is no intention of honoring the warranty. If you are looking at a shower remodel do not use DreamStyle if you want a company that honors their warranty. read more

Using the snake that they bought at Lowe's, the workers were unable to unclog the shower drain that they had clogged. In fact, they broke the snake trying. I had to hire a professional plumber to do it. Dreamstyle reimbursed us for this, however. After agreeing to come back and reconfigure the upper corners of the shower, it doesn't really look any better. The top trim of the shower should have been "wrapped" or folded in each corner, rather than having individual trim pieces meet with vertical seams in the corners. The resulting seamlessness would have looked a LOT better. Adjacent wall of shower left incomplete. A second worker had to be scheduled to come smooth out the circular depressions that the previous worker had agreed to remove. At $15,542 for an extremely small shower, this remodel was way over-priced! read more

I've had nothing but issues with the company. My contract was for 3 windows and 2 sliding doors. After waiting 3 months, the install was scheduled, except one of the doors was not what was ordered. Waited another month for the correct door. All with no communication from the project Manager. There were so many things that went wrong from chipping my glass tile backsplash to not showing up when scheduled but my biggest issue is lack of communication. You email, no response. Call the company, no answer. The only positives are, I like the windows and the contractors they hire are good and professional. Also one employee, Jason, is the only one that is willing to help. The price, I found out, is way over where it should have been. My fault for not doing my due diligence. I've been making payments for a job that has been going on for months and not yet finished. Installers were nice. They cleaned the floor they never put plastic on bathroom doorway, never put up like I was told. So had to clean the master bedroom too. On top of that 2 items weren't delivered. The squeegee and main shower head only the handheld one. It was supposed to be in, in 3 weeks. Instead it took over 6 weeks. They only called the alternate message number never mine. So when time for bathroom 2 it will NOT be them. I do not recommend them at all. Just putting paintings back and noticed spakle by where painting goes. And to the side there are mare marks. They can't say those were there already since it was recently painted. Had aaron the sales person come out and explain costs and stuff of the shower that we were gonna get installed. I got to pick and choose what new walls and faucets with the doors. We had an issue with the flip that had gone wrong. They poorly installed our current shower and we were having issues with water leaking out. I saw them on a magazine and I gave them a call. Chris Black - Project Manager. Raymond Dean & Cody Elster were the ones that were in communication with me and help me know the ETA of the installation once I got approved. They were super communicative and told me if there were any issues. Raymond and Cody were really cool and chill the entire time the installation was happening. I got to take photos of the entire process of the installation. Overall I'm very very impressed from beginning to end. I would recommend them 100%. And plus you have a lifetime warranty on the shower so it would be totally worth it to go through with them. I had the pleasure of working with Dreamstyle Remodeling a few weeks ago. They did a patio door and window replacement. Everything about their process was professionally handled by the sales agent, project coordinator, and the installation personnel. The sales agent, Jason, came out and gave a great presentation by thoroughly explaining every step of the process and giving us a variety of brands to choose from. The project coordinator kept us up to date on the status of the order and the next steps in the process. However, the real stars of the show were the installers, Ivan and Kevin. They explained everything they were going to do and were happy to answer questions along the way. The installation was done on an older structure and they demonstrated a high level of skill and workmanship. I feel as though they really cared about the work they were doing. Worked for the company for 9 years. Held many records for while i was there. They closed down the 1st position i had there with little to no notice. They moved me to another position there which i did very well at in terms of cost - and they decided with no notice that this position too was going to disappear. This is after the last 3 months my department had the best cost of marketing for the entire company's events teams. This is part of the business and i get it - however, they still have paid me for my bonus from June (that was due July 31st) and have not given any information as to why. This is not the first time that i have knowledge of this company not paying what it owed or giving an explanation of why. Luckily, i was able to find work fast due to my history - but it does not excuse them to decide to do this. We hired them to change our bath tubs to showers. They started with the guest bathroom. They put the material up but didn't finish completely. Brian the supervisor inspected what had been done and........ the installer had put up the wrong material. It was not what we had selected. When the installer pulled our material, he pulled from bin #15 BUT our material was in bin # 51 !!! So they finished the master bathroom but they never finished the guest bath. We gave them a chance to finish, 11 months so we hired another company to finish it. WHAT A PAIN. I WOULD NIT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. read more

I needed a shower redone for handicap access for my husband. I met with a "Design Consultant". who promised they works. When the time for installation came, the wrong floor came, the installing team incorrectly installed the shower head, the floor transition sagged and they left chunks of glue near the seams of the panels they glued to the wall panel. I had to call several times to get folks here to correct the sag, shower and glue. They were nice and polite, but the job was not done completely. I should have refused the floor when it was being installed but they promised some compensation. It is now almost 2 months and at least 6 phones calls and I get a lot "we will look into this" and no call backs. I am not sure they will honor their life time warranty. So $21,000.00 later, I would advise you steer clear of this company for any work. read more

Horrifying experience that has been a continual nightmare from this company, never ending. I hope at least if anything good happens from our atrocious interactions with this corrupt company, is that I can help others to stay clear from this predatory company. The contract has no itemization of items to be installed, they are vague and give a cost per bathroom. This became their advantage in the long run, (why they do it obviously) because after a year of waiting for materials that were incorrect and installed incorrectly, we ultimately did not get all the items they charged for in this contract. This amounted to thousands of dollars of items we did NOT have installed, which they billed for even after they were made aware through pictures and evidence that it was not installed. They sent it to court, a fraudulent bill and had the bill signed by the court without our presence, we were not even served, they advertised the court date, and have been trying to collect on work they never did. They use archaic laws that need to be changed to protect consumers from extortion like this. Please beware of your consumer rights, file timely complaints with the state contractor boards, this information is available online, we only became aware of this too late. Overall the workers were incompetent, damaged our bathroom floors and installed materials that were not ordered correctly, and then even after we fired them for all their incompetence and damage they had done, they refused to fix any of it and collected for work they never did. The NIGHTMARE of Dream style renovations. They promise you a one day installation, they say satisfaction 100% guaranteed , A White glove experience. The installation took several non consecutive work days stretched over a week. while in progress my house was a dusty construction mess. I had to use a guest bathroom with a tub shower which is not good for a senior with mobility issues. I started seeing rippling in the floor around the toilet. I called.. And while my toilet is still leaking SEWER water under my flooring.they sent a worker out to take a report..       Days later when I hear from no one... I demand a manager to come out because  it got worse,  Now half the floor is bucking and it probably under the vanity.The moved the toilet added two wax rings and fixed the improper installation..  The project manager  then told me that the floor issue  was from me stepping out with wet feet! and that there is NO water under the floor just on top.                         The same day I had a company come out with a meter to read moisture, they say YES THERE IS  WATER UNDER YOUR FLOOR.   I am filing a complaint with ROC. I would not recommend this company to anyone.  Truly they promise everything then they don't back it up. It has been a stressful nightmare. read more

Dreamstyle Remodeling has yet to complete a job that started on January 28th. I was told it would be a two day job from start to finish. The first group of installers tried to out smart us and used the wrong material for the window trim kit in our shower, and installed a very scratched up shower panel/wall. They didn't think we would notice the difference. They licked their fingers to rub across the seal and even it out. My wife offered a damp towel but they felt licking their fingers and sealing was best. A new set of installers came out two weeks later, corrected the wok, and we were told the shower doors would take two more weeks. After three additional weeks, I contacted the supervisor and we still don't know when the shower doors will be in. We've gone from a two day job to 43 days and counting. read more

We live about 250 miles from their business so it took more time than normally would due to problems. This contractor has been the worst experience in my history of contractors. I purchased 6 windows in mid-February. The plan was to replace 4 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. Six months later and the windows are not complete Problem1 (Bait and Switch) A month later that called back and said they could not do the bedroom windows in that style model. However, they could do the bedroom windows in a more expensive model for another $700. Does this sound like a bait and switch scheme? We argued and 1 week later the caller stated that they would do the bedroom windows with no additional cost. Another 2 weeks go by and they said that Pella does not do that window size in any model and asked me to sign a change order to remove the bedroom windows. That was Apr 23 Problem 2 (Windows too small) Dreamstyle came out July 16 and installed the 4 living room windows. One of the windows was broken and they said they ordered the replacement window. The windows were too narrow. A person could place their fingers in between the window and the house frame on both sides of the window. We discussed whether to install the windows or not. The installers advised to install the windows and they would spray a spacer foam around the perimeter. There were two options presented. Option 1 They would install the windows and then reinstall replacement windows at a later date with the correct size. Option 2 The windows would be permanent and Dreamstyle would add stucco to the outside and drywall on the inside to cover the gap caused by the too small windows. They filled the ridiculous gap with this yellow foam that is visible inside and out. Four weeks later and many phone calls and the big ugly foam is still visible. The Tucson manager came out and he stated he was not sure if the wrong window size was Pella's or Dreamstyle's mistake. Problem 3 (Poor customer response) Every time there was a snag there was a 1-2 week phone response . They did not return phone calls. I left messages and there were no call backs. This occurred with the Phoenix office also. It took 4 weeks to get the Tucson manager to come out and look at the windows. The plan was to have another contractor come out and estimate the window gap repair on the inside and outside. Dream Style Remodeling On April 29, 2019 we entered into a contract with Dream Style Remodeling, sales representative Alex Orantez to provide and install two doors. At our request and his agreement there was no need to contact our HOA for approval. These doors are interior to our walled property. Street views are such that these doors are hidden. On May 1, 2019 we received a call from Dream Style Remodeling telling us they had contacted our HOA. Later that morning I called Alex to cancel our order. During that call he again admitted that he had agreed the Dream Style Remodeling would not call the HOA. I followed that call with an email to cancel the order. On May 2, 2019 I sent a second email to Alex. His response was, "I can't cancel it for you. You must call our office and cancel it that way." I called Dream Style Remodeling speaking to sales manager Ron. As Ron told me their policy of having to contact the HOA, I explained to Ron that I could no longer trust Dream Style Remodeling to honor their verbal commitments. I again asked for Ron to cancel the order. Rather than responding to me he hung up the phone. I redialed connecting with concierge Jimmica Anderson. She asked if I would like to speak to Ron. I responded, "Yes." She came back to the phone saying, "Your order has been canceled with a refund coming in seven to ten days." Alex has been an employee of Dream Style Remodeling for seven years. When initially reviewing our needs, he was unclear as to the requirement for fire rated doors. A fire rated door is required between a living-quarters and a garage. Exterior doors even when they are in a garage can be normal exterior doors. How is it that a sales representative with seven years experience does not know where to locate a fire rated door? read more

Make sure you read the fine print if your contract. Don't rely on the sales person. If you decide to cancel don't just call to cancel. Make sure you send them an email or registered letter and keeps copy of it. A text won't do it. They will come back and charge you 33% of what your remodel would cost.
