I informed him that I had a slope adapter and was told by another pro that the fan/light would not hang properly w/o it. He told me he thought he could make it work and asked it I could return the adapter for a refund, making it inconvenient for me. He needed to go to the store for a part he did not have on his truck. He go two parts, he said he didn't know which one was the right one. Also I assited him in turning off breakers to locate the right breaker for the light switch. Total job took 3 hours and I was billed $287 for which he refunded me $28 as I had to return the extra part for for a refund. He cleaned up nicely when finished. I couldn't get the refund because he paid for it with a card so he Zelled me the price for part.

The estimate was pleasantly reasonable. I accepted the quote and we scheduled the work. Dan and JR arrived a few minutes early and worked diligently all day. They were able to complete all the work in one day. They were organized and cleaned up beautifully. I'm thrilled with their work and know you will be too. For quick or lengthy "Honey-Do" lists, DEAS are your pros to check off those needs. Because of their reasonable rates, you can also have them do what you're able to do but don't want to. Thanks so much guys!

He identified that the Schlage hardware had a lifetime warranty on the finish and orchestrated that successful claim for me. I subsequently asked him to help with some nail pops, caulking, woodwork repairs on quarter round and a piece of crown molding, shower door seal replacements. During all that I remembered I had an exterior floodlight which had a corroded fixture due to leakage into the unit. He replaced it and took care to seal any exposed wiring. He even noticed that a rain gutter was full of debris and cleaned it, recognizing that overflow near the light fixture was a likely cause of corrosion. Peter also identified the cause of inoperable can / high hat lights in the soffits as corrosion and sealed new replacements properly. I'd had the lights replaced peviously by a licensed electician who simply installed new ones without bothering to identify and fix the cause of the of the corrosion Peter is skilled and creative in resolving annoying homowner issues. He appears organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks in a day, working diligently. He cleans up each day so the house remains livable. Most significantly, he is ethical. He repaired a large, gaping crack that extended across the width of my living room. The crack was an item of conversation for everyone who visited. My friends are in awe after the repair since there is no evidence of a crack with the perfectly textured ceiling. He also cleaned up existing patches in the dining room and bathroom. In that bathroom, he replaced portions of dry wall and base boards that were previously removed due to water damage. He installed a grab bar in the shower and a light above. At my request, he ran wiring from the attic to install switches for the multiple lights and fan. My shower is nice. The work Peter did in my house was impeccable. My impression is that he can do anything and he will research if necessary. Fellow home owners, if you are looking for a stress free experience from a handyman with high ethics, call Handyman Phd.
