Disclaimer: I did not hire them to assemble my storage shed, so this review is based on their quote and not from in-person interaction. He quoted me $1000 to put it together. (!) This is a 4' X 8' simple shed, vinyl, and I have the pavers and the plywood for the foundation. The manufacturer estimates a 2 to 4 hour job. So $1000 would be a $500-$250 an hour charge! Hoo wee! I spent $900 on all the materials. Others quoted $250-$400 to do the job. Sorry, I can't recommend their handyman services. So take this review as if I went to a store, found that they were charging $16 for a gallon of milk. I didn't buy the milk, but I certainly cannot recommend buying that store's milk. And if you would read the owner's comments to the 1 and 2 star reviews including this one, the tone of his voice is telling. When a business receives a bad rating or review or a customer complaint, it is a great opportunity to make good and create immense good will, not only with the customer in question, but for anyone reading the review and how it was handled. More business owners would do well to learn this lesson. ***UPDATE So the owner then sends me a personal message to further berate me. This is unprofessional and childish behavior. I hardly write any 1 star reviews, but when a business owner is unprofessional, immature, and way overpriced, it leaves me no choice. Be cautious about hiring him. Do your homework and get other quotes. ***UPDATE (AGAIN) He changed his reply to this review from the negative one he originally posted. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. On a weekend my smoke alarms started to beep at me and one of them is on a 14 ft ceiling. My one dog couldn't take the loud beeping which made me very upset. Picked B&R to call Sat hoping the timing would fit. He couldn't do it Sat but came out Sun. Well we hoped it was a battery and would be quick fix. No luck they were hard wired and no battery backup. Brent didn't bat an eye had to run out and buy all new ones for the house, all 7 of them. He looked at me and said this is going to cost some, I told him I knew I had already priced serveral at the hardware stores. I told him I wanted ones to last and off he went. My daughter and I looked at each other and crossed our fingers he would make a good choice. Well this man knows his stuff and took real good care of choosing great smoke alarms and with battery backup. In October 2022 i contracted B & R handyman LLC for panel siding to be put on and painted on my mobile home. Initially the work looked good but shortly after started to look warped. I reached out to them via email & phone to rectify the situation in April and May. Again no repairs were made and on October 3 i sent another formal request via email with a deadline of October 17, 2023 and have still not heard back from them. I contacted Brent and had them come out and do some measurements to see about getting a quote for adding on a patio to my house. They came out and did some measurements a few days before Thanksgiving and I have not seen a quote and would not have been called ever if it wasn't for me reaching out to them multiple times. When I got a hold of Brent on time he did say that they were very busy and apologized. When I called him again on one occasion he apologized for not knowing where my measurements were and that he would see about getting back to me with the quote. I was told I would see a quote sometime the other night after reaching out again, but never did. The last time that I talked to Brent I was told that they might have to come back out and do measurements because they lost the original measurements. The sad thing is is that we really liked Brent and what he had to say and suggest (hence 2 stars & not 1 star). I really wish they could've at least given me the opportunity to see a quote or earned my business which would've been better. I called to get a quote for replacing my kitchen faucet. The price was very reasonable so the very next day two young men came out and on time. The faucet was old and more difficult to remove but they were diligent and very careful. The new faucet is in and works beautifully. We called them for a problem with our front door that they managed to fix about two minutes after they knocked on it, and then they went around our house fixing a bunch of other issues of the type that add up in a 50-year-old house. Fast, friendly, affordable, and able to diagnose and solve a problem right away, even if it's one you didn't tell them about in advance. Lots of house problems don't feel big enough to justify bringing someone in but make your life slightly worse each time you encounter them and think "I'll get to it sometime." Had Brent come out and look at some damage that was done by Sam Levitz delivery department. They sent an invoice to sam levitz to complete the work. Since the invoice was mailed I checked in with Casey to see if a check had been received. I contacted Sam Levitz for me to pick up a check, and then contacted Casey to schedule a date for the job. During that time I had agreed with Brent for him to buy the paint and light fixture. There was no communication with him and casey did not know if he would buy the paint or not. I called the day before there appointment to confirm, since no one bothers to contact me. The day of appointment I head to home depot to buy the paint and light fixture out of my pocket and I am late 25 minutes. He did call me to tell me he was at my front door, I let him know I will be late. HE leaves without informing me, not willing to reschedule.
