We are so glad we went with Pete and his hard working crew! We have an old shop/barn in our backyard that was in dire need of help...and thank goodness we hired Martinez Custom painting, as they were not only able to paint this entire building but they also replaced all of the trim, patched up all kinds of damage/wear & tear/woodpecker holes, and made it look new! The attention to detail is unparalleled, and the communication, professionalism and timeliness top notch. Before they began work, we walked the perimeter with Pete and expressed concern of how old and worn down our barn had become...he said "lucky you hired a cosmetic surgeon" and we couldn't agree more! Even my grumpy old father in-law was super impressed! We will call them again in the future with any of our painting needs. read more

Complete outside paint job along with fencing. It was a joy to work with Pete Martinez and his team. My house needed a lot of prep work and caulking and in some areas several coats of paint. Also we had to work with our HOA to get the paint colors in line with their guidance. Pete was a great help with this. The team was punctual, professional, and really paid attention to getting the details right. They followed up and ensured I was happy with the result. The house looks great. I highly recommend Martinez Custom Painting. read more

Pete Martinez and crew did a beautiful paint job on our home. We live in Oro Valley and they painted several homes on our street. All we had to do is look at other folks' homes, before and after, and to speak to the homeowners about their experience. Needless to say, we were impressed. If you desire attention to detail that's affordable you can't go wrong. We are pleased to offer this recommendation. Thank you Pete! read more

We love Pete! He has done many inside projects for us and just recently completed painting the exterior of our house and surrounding wall. It looks gorgeous and we have gotten so many compliments from neighbors. The crew is always punctual and professional and they pay a lot of attention to detail. Best in Tucson! read more

Exterior painting including garage door, trims, and a porch: The job was done carefully and quickly. The exterior of the near 50-year old ranch house was restored as good as new. The price is reasonable and competitive. The business owner is very friendly and responsive to any inquiry. I would hire him again for the next job. read more

Pete's guys were very professional. The crew did a bang up job from prep to finish paint. Coming from 40 years in the commercial roofing industry I know when Iam getting a class A job. Thank you Pete and the boys. Ted Sieracki home owner read more

Martinez Custom Painting just finished painting my house. They did a GREAT job! First off, the crew is very professional. They wear white uniforms and are nice looking! (The last painting crew we had looked like a bunch of parolees.) Then they proceeded to power wash the entire house! So nice to know that 5 years of grime weren't trapped under the fresh layer of paint. Then they carefully masked everything off. No spatter, no mess at all! The next step was to pour all of the cans of paint into big plastic trash cans so that the paint is uniform in color all over the house. They stirred and mixed so that there is no line where one can stops and the next one starts. Now get this -- never seen this before -- they sprayed and then rolled!! And to top everything off, they cleaned the windows when they left!!!! I would give Martinez Custom Painting the highest possible recommendation. read more

Martinez Custom Painting - Pete Martinez and His Crew - Painters Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Pete and his crew did an excellent job on our exterior paint job! They were very detail oriented and did each step with care! I really liked the fact that I didn't have any cigarette smell whenever I walked out to see how they were doing. They were all very respectful whenever I asked a question or had any concerns. I absolutely love the color Pete suggested! The original color I had told him was ok, but when he showed us a similar color that was his favorite, we changed our minds and went with Pete's color! We are so happy we did! He is truly an expert and perfectionist! We waited for Pete's company to be available and it was worth it! Signed some very happy and satisfied customers! So let me tell you that I first met Pete at a networking event--from there he proceeded to paint the inside of my house, the outside of my house, the inside of my business and sealed the adobe at work. I find Pete to be a very warm hearted individual who is dedicated to perfection. Pete looks for perfection in all his endeavors--something that is both wonderful and frustrating at the same time. I've watched Pete work hard to make sure expectations are met--and honestly go beyond the customer expectation. Over the years, I'll admit--Pete and I have become good friends. He looks at the world like I do--works hard--and expects his folks and the folks around him to do their best. I appreciate Pete, his crew, his work ethic and how high he holds himself to standards far beyond the average person. I can't recommend Pete enough--he's a great guy, great crew, and great human. read more

I'd like to give them.more stars but they never had the courtesy to return my call. It's been over a week

I set up an appointment with Pete at least a week ahead of time. Pete never showed up for the appointment and also never called. I left a voicemail the day of the appointment and here we are 3 days later and still no call. Very unprofessional read more

Professional quality work. Meticulous set-up and clean-up. Victor was easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Martinez Custom Painting repainted my AZ room last spring and I was more than satisfied! It looked great inside and outside when they finished and they took great care in protecting the brickwork of both the AZ room and the patio outside the room. Their workers were punctual, polite and friendly. Best of all, the price was excellent. A great experience front to back. read more

My house was not only in SERIOUS need of a fresh coat of paint, there was also quite a bit of age-related "uglies" to my house. Pete did a thorough assessment of my needs, and then his crew did a GREAT job making the needed pre-paint repairs. The finished job was EXCELLENT! Pete wanted to wait a month to do a re-inspection to make sure the caulking work and any other possible "hiccups" didn't occur. Well, I DID have a couple of mostly minor issues. Pete came to check them out and will have them fixed before the end of the month. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused. I DEFINITELY recommend Martinez Custom Painting! read more

Pete is thorough and straightforward and his knowledge came through strongly in our initial discussions Since then, my confidence in Pete has grown over time. He strives to be the best and ensures that the customers are satisfied. I am very pleased that I am working with Pete for my painting needs for the house. Pete, Steve and his crew have been painting my house for several months. I got to know his crew over this time, and I trust Pete and his crew. I often leave them alone to get the work done for a long period at a time since there was a lot of sanding that caused breathing difficulties for me. Despite their effort, the schedule has been delayed somewhat, but it is almost complete. I'm also confident that Pete and his crew finish it in an awesome way! I recommend him strongly for your painting needs! read more

Pete and his crew just finished up an exterior repaint on our home in the foothills near Wilmot and Sunrise. We are very pleased with the work that was done. Miguel and crew were fast, thorough and meticulous in cleaning and repairing the stucco, and did a great job of painting with no overspray. They cleaned up windows where the cleaning left a film, moved all the patio furniture and the place looks great. And all for a great price! Highly recommended. read more

These guys are the best. Just finished having our roof coated and outside of the house painted. Pete and Steve checked in regularly, and Joe, Miguel and Mike were a terrific crew. I could go on and on -- but a couple of quick examples: We had some crummy looking old aluminum siding that other companies weren't even willing to look at or see what was underneath. Martinez Co. removed the old siding, discovered the wood underneath was perfectly fine except for a couple of gauges which they repaired and the house looks better than ever. Polite, friendly, professional, no bad surprises, concerned that the customer is happy, great clean up and top-notch work, very high quality materials used. I'm a pretty serious gardener and they were SO respectful of plants around the house. They even got along with our dog. read more

Martinez painting painted the exterior of my house two months ago. From the start, Pete was very professional. When giving the estimate, he explained everything they would be doing, and that was exactly the way it was done. I got 3 estimates, and this one came in, in the middle. It was a no brainer going with Martinez, as they used the best paint, as well as back-rolled the first coat. The actual painters were also very professional and courteous. One small complaint I had was lack of communication when it came time to schedule the start date. This issue ended up being pretty minor in the end, since I had a flexible schedule. I am very happy with the job! read more

Fantastic work, met with Victor and Leo, we were impressed at the very first moment, very professional, on time, brought color charts for our neighbohood assoc, so that the first visit was all we needed to make the best decision to have them paint the house. They started the job a few days later the workers were hard working, polite, and spent all day here, no wasting any time, from power washing to having our 13 yr old house look like new again in less then 4 days amazing! This company is the best contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Bravo, L & M, best home painter in Tucson, you're doing something right read more

I have used Pete and his team of painters on a couple personal residences and some rentals. Pete is very good at looking a project over before the crew starts so there have been very few surprises during a project. Pete and his team are very clean and courteous during the project. I have had interior and exterior work completed by them and the results have always been better than what I hoped for. On exterior projects every thing is pressure washed before starting the painting and during the actual painting it is sprayed and back rolled. The projects have always been cleaned up very nicely when it is complete. I highly recommend Pete and his team of painters. read more
