Very skeptical of Asian salons as they usually don't have the best of service, but decided to go here as being close to my home. Went on Wednesday around 1pm and it was quite busy already. Luckily, I was next to be seated. Janet did my no-chip mani ($30) which was absolutely perfect. Very impressed. My nails are extremely short and gross, which is why at other places even after cleaning up my nails, I still find specks of polish on my skin around the nails. However, Janet took a lot of time to clean my nails before and after and really made them neat and uniform. This place also had a larger selection of no-chip colors compared to other places I have been to. Janet was great and seems very straightforward. I could tell that she knows what she's doing, as she was teaching the other ladies (in Chinese) on how to execute certain services that they offer. read more

Tried this place today (Saturday) because I woke up with my boyfriend horrified by the look of my neglected feet & they were able to get me in right away (around 130). Everyone was very nice, the massage chairs might've been the best I've ever experienced & the foot massage Crystal gave me was great! Prices were average ($48 for a pedi & no chip mani) but there was no wifi (which wasn't necessary a terrible thing, because I was forced to unplug for a bit- but hence the 4 star rating) I also saw a sign for a 30 minute foot massage + a pedi for $48- that'd be awesome! Reviewing again since this place now has a new interior. The updated decor makes this place extremely elegant and beautiful. I come here for a manicure and pedicure and it is only $30! think this price is super comparable to other nail salons I've been to. They took their time with my mani/pedi (including nice foot and hand massages) and did a great job. The ladies are really nice and accommodating here as well. They have a wide color selection and many people working so the wait wasn't too long. However, I do notice that they get really busy around weekends, so make sure to call ahead and make an appointment! They also do eyebrow services and waxing. I got my Eyebrows done here before and they did a great job as well. Street parking (have to pay) is available in front but there's actually free street parking on the Wallace side so make sure to look for these first! read more

Came in for a pedicure today and it was amazing! I would say a solid 45 mins. They lady I had did an amazing job and massaged my legs forever it was wonderful! They don't skimp on anything during the pedicure which most places are doing now. I encourage everyone to check this place out ! read more

I'm a huge advocate of supporting local businesses so I've patronized this establishment for over a year. I bounced around with technicians until I found a God send Jenny. Unfortunately I am no longer a customer. Due to the unorganized scheduling I was harassed about my appointment by a very aggressive nail tech so I decided to part ways. I know the owner will be back in the shop when she comes back from her maternity leave. Hopefully her business will get back to a more professional environment. My search for a nail shop continues. Just went here for the first time and got a mani/pedi from Angie. Friendly staff, no wait time, and a ton of great polish colors to choose from. She did a really good job cutting my overgrown cuticles on my fingers (not jagged at all), and once she found out I'm really ticklish while doing my pedi, she did it in a way that barely tickled at all (first time that's happened!) Horrible service, no one speaks English well. Don't bother making an appointment. We had 10:00am appointments for no chip manicures and arrived, to be fare, 5mins late. Amy is who I requested, was just starting a man's manicure when we arrived and Jenny, who I requested for my Mom does not work on Saturday. My Mom waited for 20mins for some lady that rushed in and thought she was there for a pedicure. She apologized but did a horrible job on my Mom's cuticles. Amy finally took me at 10:45am and when I asked her why such a long wait, another manicurist tried to tell me it was because I was late. Her customer said the person she was working on came in at 9:55am. I didn't offer that my Mom waited 20mins for her appointment. Never returning. Don't waste your time. Went to this place several times and they did a descent job... Nothing spectacular... Then went this last time for a soak off, pedicure and full set of pink and white gels... Well they managed to soak my nails off ok, and pedicure was ok, but it looks like my pink and white set were put on by an intoxicated 3 yr old... Absolute WORST SET OF NAILS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! I am embarrassed and they should be as well. I tried several times to correct the woman and show her how crooked they were and she would not listen. She was absolutely rude when I showed her... I went here since it's close to my house and needed a no chip manicure and regular pedicure. The young man did my manicure and pedicure . However, my pedicure and manicure are not the same color, for one, when they should be. Two, my no chip manicure is all uneven and you can see through it to my nail. They charged me for having my old no chip taken off as well, when half of it was already off. I feel like I got robbed since they didn't want to fix my manicure when I told them about it and they looked at it but still wanted to charge me anyway. I don't have a clue as to what's happened to the staff in the last four months. Was my favorite nail salon in the neighborhood. I WAS a regular as were friends/relatives. Girls working there are distracted because all they do is talk to each other the ENTIRE time you are getting mani/pedi. Very loud. Their work sucks now...they've cut me twice because they aren't focused on what they should be doing. Horrible & they are completely unapologetic.. Last time I went in for French mani/pedi...they practically pushed me out the door as it was closing time when I was finished, fingernails all smudged on right hand (they wouldn't let me dry them) opening the door and they couldn't have cared less! You're lucky if pedi lasts 4 days because they are in such a rush to get you in & out they hurry through coats of polish. Multiple chances given even after I sat on a Thursday and waited for an hour and 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. I looked up and noticed the manager had seated 3 girls ahead of me because they were friends!! Really? Go to Pinky's instead. read more

I wish I had a better review for this place. So, I went on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I wanted a pedicure and no-chip. I was excited cause they use Gelish, which I think is the best of the gel no chip polishes. They have A TON of colors. My pedicure was gorgeous. Perfect length, shape and color. And a really nice massage, nothing too hard or soft. The woman who did my feet used her time efficiently (took about 30 minutes) while still being thorough and careful, so I figured it would translate to my manicure. 1. The length of my fingernails was all off. She filed some too low and others were more squared off at the edges. Then, came the application of the polish. She put TWO layers of base coat on. I've never seen anyone do this before. So, I was surprised and a little worried. Then came the color. I kid you not, she went back and layered it on FOUR TIMES. Now, if you get no-chip, you know that the whole point is for your nails to look natural. Not in this case, they were thick and uneven and bumpy. because she kept going back and putting on more color, the manicure took TWO and a HALF HOURS. It was unbelievable. I was so frustrated and bored sitting there. I saw two episodes of Monk and that was torturous. Normally, after you go under the light for about 10 minutes or so, you should be completely dry. To my dismay, when I arrived home, I realized there were some streaks of color on my coat and on my sweats. There were big puddles of still-wet color in my nail beds. So, I called to tell them I needed to come back and have them fixed. They were very nice and said I could come in the next day. Overnight, the color started completely coming off four of my nails. The color was bubbling and catching on clothing and just stripping off my nail. So, I figured I would go in during my lunchbreak cause if I went to see someone who actually knew what they were doing, it would take less time, right? WRONG. It took another 90 minutes for another very nice and seemingly competent technician to fix FOUR nails. She asked if I could stay to have all of my nails fixed but I just didn't have time. Again, she was very nice but she did seem to once again put two coats of base on and it took a REALLY long time to dry. It seems like that might be a problem? Anyhow, I'll not be back here, which is too bad because it's afforable ($48 for no chip and spa pedicure) and it's convenient. But minuses are: it's not super clean, it's kind of an ugly space and it took FOREVER. Sorry, no dreamscape. More like nightmare for the girl on the go. read more

I have to say with the reopening of nail salons, I have to give Sherrie all the credit of trying and working hard for social distancing. The salon is busy and yes appointments are needed. Sherrie allowed us to sit in her backyard, instead of hanging out in front. The pedi stations all have shields. Same with the nail stations, there are shields. Are her appointments running on time, no, but my wait was only 15 minutes. My toes were in bad shape (I am sure there were a lot of clients like me), and it took the manicurist some time. I had the gentlemen who works there and he did take his time and I am so grateful he did, my nails were in bad shape. This new normal is new for all of us, and Sherrie and her staff are really trying. Sherrie just open on June 9 and she is busy. She is honest and will tell you she is busy, when you call. At this time there really are no walk ins. The staff are working hard and I am sure there glad to be back at work. My mani and pedi look and feel great. Thank you to the gentleman who worked magic on feet and hands. Thank you Sherrie for trying and doing all you can do, to make your clients feel somewhat normal. I do like your garden, and the fountain that you have in your yard. Wish you had it running, it would be great to hear the water running and viewing it. read more

They staff is nice. I got a pedicure and full set of acrylic. The tools they use for you feet are in a package that is supposedly sterilized before used. The chairs are a little uncomfortable. I have gone to Dreamscape nails for brow waxing every couple months for the past few years and have had fine experiences. Nothing spectacular, and not "trendy" but fine. HOWEVER, last night I went in and got someone I have never had before who totally burned my eyelids and though I was crying and wincing and said "yes" when asked if it hurts, did not change her method. She just giggled. I'm sure she was uncomfortable, and I thought maybe my skin is just more sensitive than usual so I just let her finish. But today I can see that my skin is burned and I have an abrasion where she actually removed skin (which I could feel when she went over the area with alcohol to remove any remaining wax). When I went in she had just started a manicure and while she had the woman's hands in parafin, she ran to the back to do my wax. Maybe she was in too much of a hurry to let the wax cool for a second before applying it. It was awful and I very much regret that I let her finish. I shouldn't have and I shouldn't have paid for it. I DO NOT recommend Dreamscape under any circumstances now and will definitely not go back. They really need to be sure to train their technicians properly. read more

This review is ONLY for those interested in PINK & WHITE GEL and FRENCH pedicures! I am one to only read other reviews but never to write one. I have been here 4 times prior to writing this review, only to give them a chance to redeem themselves but surely no luck throughout any of the visits. There is only ONE lady, which is the owner, that does the pink & white french gel and she is absolutely horrible. She did not make the white gel even, so I had some fingers where the white was extremely thin, some fingers where it was way too thick, and some medium which I had originally wanted. I pointed out all the unevenness and she blamed my finger nails for not being the same length! I was extremely upset because at first she didn't want to fix any of the whites and so I showed ALL the other salon ladies and they ALL agreed it looked horrible and had to be fixed. This really embarrassed her, being the owner and all, so she tried to fix it but ended up hurting me and making me bleed on several fingers using the machine filer. She ended up shaving the white down, but then she didn't refill the white with some fingers so there were patches of my normal nail color that could be seen through the white. My girlfriend was with me and she just kept remarking on horrible it looked in front of the owner, but the owner didn't even care. The fingers where the white was too thick, she kept using a filer and filing down the white, which made my nail SO SHORT, she made my skin bleed and she didn't care. I WAS FURIOUS. Finally, she didn't file/shape down my nail so it looked like clunks of gel were on top of my nails, really really thick. On top of that, she charged me the FULL PRICE and wouldn't give me a discount, in which I am disputing now with my credit card! As for the pedicures, I have done several here with each person and I do not like how most of them do the pedicures. They do not use 2 coats of the white, only 1 coat so it chips right away. Literally, the SAME DAY. All the other pedicures I have done, they use 2 coats and they last for a long while. A few times I have asked the ladies to use 2 coats and they either said no we don't use 2 coats, or no and give me a nasty look like I'm crazy. There is one girl that does use 2 coats but she makes the white curve REALLY curvy when she shapes it so it looked weird. Lastly, for some reason they don't use a super shine top coat, so it gets dull after a day or 2. It seems like people rave about this place, but only for REGULAR manicures & pedicures. Love Dreamsape! I get my nails done here every two weeks - a french gel fill is $23. The ladies in the salon do a great job and they are all really sweet and friendly. This place has TONS of regulars and its pretty obvious why that is the case....great deal and quality service! I would recommend getting there as early as you can on the evenings or weekends. This place is horrible! I waited almost two hours for a pedi/mani. There was no one waiting when I arrived but apparently they were overbooked with appointments. They could have told me when I walked in that it was going to be a long wait. I watched 6 people come in after me and get taken care of before me because of appointments. I'm torn. I've been here twice now, both for no-chip manicures. The price is right and the no-chip manicure lasts and lasts, so that's a big bonus. The first time I went, the salon was packed but I was able to get right in and get a great manicure. HOWEVER, this last time I went, I received some of the worst customer service and overall experience. I called ahead and asked how long a no-chip would take since I would be on my lunch hour, and was told 40 minutes. I went at noon and left at 1:10. 70 minutes?! I was the only client in there when I arrived and here's where the customer service went downhill. There were many employees without clients just sitting around. When I was seated for my service an employee sat next to my tech, and continued to carry on a conversation with her the ENTIRE 70 minutes, sometimes just glaring at me. She would sometimes awkwardly hover over my hands, but it didn't appear she was learning the process (they were speaking another language, so I can't say for sure). They were definitely having some sort of deep conversation and my tech was extremely distracted, stopping multiple times to carry on the conversation with her coworker (again, clearly not about my nails). Another employee sat in the client chair next to me watching loud videos on her phone for most of my service. I was right under the television and couldn't even hear what was going on due to the employees chatting and watching videos. When it came to paint the color, they tried putting a bright pink on which was not my selected color. Apparently the bottles were mislabeled. After 10 minutes and an overwhelming amount of employees trying to push other colors on me that I did not want, I settled for what ended up being a bubblegum pink (yuck). Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to change it since it was already 55 minutes into my "40 minute" manicure and I had to finish this up to get back to work. All in all, the manicure results and prices were great. If you want a relaxing, pampering spa-type service, this is not the place. read more

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. It's clean and prices are pretty good- $30 for a mani pedi. They have a good selection of colors as well. I've never had a bad experience. The only reason why it's not a 5 or solid 4 stars is because I've never felt that the employees go above and beyond. Wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone!! Got there at 4 for a full in and pedicure. Left at 7pm. The staff is sloppy (eating at the nail stations), they are extremely loud, screaming over the "serene" music playing in the background and super slow. If they focused on the client in front of them, I'm sure that things would move quicker. I don't want a fast inefficient job but seriously, three hours for my nails is extreme. I cannot stress how disgusted I was to then see that they clean their pedicure tubs with simple dish soap and that their foot scrubbers are all thrown in a large bucket near the chairs. Never again. I've gone to this nail salon a long time. The staff is friendly and do a great job. My only suggestion, get new nail polish. Great choices if you do a no chip, but their regular nail colors look old. Slot of colors, but many look like they have been around a long time. I suggest an appointment if you want to assure you get right in.. there can be a waiting period during busy times. read more

Terrible service! Very rude! The guy polishing my nails after my pedi polished them with a half empty bottle of polish and asked me to pick another color for my hands. I asked if they could change the polish on my toes and that was a problem! My polish on my toes was lumpy and he didn't clean up the edges! I asked the tech next to him a question she was agitated and told me ask my tech she wasn't servicing me! Needless to say I left without getting the mani and I won't be back! I also didn't tip which I never do! If I'm laying I want my service to be done the correct way and I want to be treated courteously!i commend myself for not losing my cool but overall their service was rude and basic! I got the most horrible fungus on both my hands and my feet from this place after a mani/pedi. I have been getting my nails done up north for many years with no problems but finally decided to try something in the neighborhood. This has been one of the worst mistakes ever!!! Months later, I am still trying to get rid of the infection with the help of my doctor. I tried speaking with the manager and got the run around. I would never, ever, ever go here again.
