Love/hate dream lab. Yet I will keep coming back forever, because this is probably the best internet cafe in the area. $20 for 10 hours, yay! Good thing I brought a jacket too, because it got super freakishly cold :( Which is understandable and necessary, since there's 332409582345@#% computers running. Later on they turned the air off, and it became all hot/stuffy/smelly because some people are just stinky like that. Unpleasant. League is under strategy games. Took me forever to find it the first time because there were so many games =____= I like that there are tables and chairs in the center for people who just want to chill/eat. It also gets kind of noisy after 3, because all the high school kids begin to trickle in. 10 hours seems like a lot, but it goes pretty fast. Before I knew it, the sky was dark and I realized I should go .____. Haha. Pros: - So so so many games. Anything you can think of, and more - Skype, Vent, Steam, everything is also there - Comfy chairs - 101 Noodle Express is next door, yum! Cons: - Bathroom is so gross. Okay, I'm cheating because I've only been here for Phantoml0rd's fan appreciation day. but I'm reviewing my experience with the atmosphere, the staff, and the tech. The place looks a little sketch from the outside, but once inside it's as you would expect. Dark, with dark walls, and little cubicles with their own PC hovering above. It's nicely set up, clean and dark in a technological matrix-y way, it's cool. Lots of video game posters, and selection of drinks (mexican coke!) and candy for sale. I think they have some other merch and stuff for sale too. There are a lot of computers, I'd guess more than 40? idk maybe that's too much or too little but during the tournament they had at least 4, five-man teams going at once with spectators to spare. The staff was very organized and polite despite having to kick people off computers and yell at the top of their lungs to keep order during the tournament. Short Review: "DreamLab is unarguably the #1 lan center I have been to in Southern California. You are guarenteed to have the best gaming experience here that will keep making you come back!" Their computer equipment is always up to date and so is their game list. There is no way you can't find at least one game from their system that you'll enjoy. The most popular game I believe is League of Legends and its common to see couples or a group of friends come in and play together. There are a good amount of WoW, SC2, HoN, CS, L4D, CoD, and Battlefield 3 beta players as well. If you don't want to play games, they have internet services such as chome, firefox, and aim so you can check your facebook/email or whatever. The customer serivice here is top notch. Employees will greet you whenever you come in and know how to keep things casual and comfortable. They won't hesitate to help anoyone who is new and will even remember your username if you're a frequent customer! You can tell they really have a passion for gaming (excpet billy) and will be glad to answer any questions you have, or any technical help you need. This place is clean and organized. Workers will clean up a computer station as soon as someone gets off and their bathrooms aren't disgusting. They also sell a variety of candy, drinks, chips, ice cream, and hot pockets to keep you full. Great prices, service, and games. Definetly a 5 star place! read more

This is by far the best internet cafe around, they crush the competition in SGV, the computers were fast, leather adjustable computer chairs, they used to even have console games here but for capacity reason they had to take it out, still comfortable, clean and the guys at the front desk are super cool, plus it's surrounded by food, even though I have a perfectly fine computer at home, I still come type down my username and password and go for a few round of LoL with my buddies every week. Surrounded by restaurants and the parking structure is fairly large, but crowded at lunch and dinner time. read more

Great computer cafe, I've gone several times with friends to play League and other games. Staff is attentive and really cool. One of the only gaming cafes left around. Only cons are sometimes programs don't run or headphones don't work but it's usually resolved quickly. Bathroom is a bit nasty. No Warcraft lll :( lol But the prices are very reasonable and they have to recoup the cost somehow. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a computer lounge. read more

Basically, it's a neat place to play at for some LoL matches for a few hours. New to the neighborhood and with no internet at home, decided to try this place. Staff is nice and helpful since I was a first timer at this place. The ambiance has the gamer feel with many figures from different games. Plenty of games being displayed on multiple monitors for visitors to watch. Saw someone playing FFX on the big screen which was awesome since it's one of my favorite games. A lot of low points are balanced out by high points here. The employees at the front desk are always a touch awkward, but they're never rude. And though the chairs are a little worn and leather cracking, the rest of their equipment is pretty good. And while it gets a lot of traffic, I've never found myself waiting for a slot, so that's nice. But for heaven's sake, clean up your restroom. I'm loathe to spend longer than 3 minutes in there lest a cockroach feels bold and climbs up my leg. The wall paint is peeling, the toilet is stained, the room dimly lit. read more

It's been almost ten years since I've been to a gaming cafe...I used to live in them and It wasn't until the release of Diablo III that I even thought of stepping into another one. The three places I used to go to (GT in Azusa, fan-yi in La Verne and one in Pomona I can't recall the name) all went out of business. So my friend used his trusty smartphone and look up gaming cafe. After calling three different places and comparing location/pricing, we chose to try out DreamLab. We walked into the place and it had a great vibe going on. Not too dark, not too bright. Places to sit down and chill and even some TV's that were showing what some people are playing. Talked to guy working the front desk and he was excited when we told him it was our first time. We got the 4 hours for $10 deal(which is great value) and he told us which computers to go on. Once we sat down, he came over and showed us how to start our account, how their system worked and where Diablo III was. It wasn't as loud as I'm used to hearing in gaming cafe because every computer had headsets. Most places have speakers, which gets old ready fast! Their were some kids yelling playing left4dead, but it was awesome hearing them blaming each other and yelling for help "OMGZ ZOMBIES ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME ALONE IN HERE?!?!?" Keyboard, mouse and headset were all in good shape, though if you have 120+ mouse or keyboard you can't love without, bring it. The computers are on top so you can easily pug yours in and their system even remember your key binding and setting(pretty legit!). We had so much fun gaming and enjoying the vibe that we got another 4hours and kept playing. Here's the kicker to this review; It's the first time I felt I've HAD to write one because it's only fair! I made a huge mistake that could of cost me $100 bucks. We got there at 4:30pm roughly and left around 11pm. I left my sunglasses at the gaming cafe and didn't realize it until the morning. I called them at 12:25ish and they were there early. I told him where I was sitting and he went to check. Sure enough, they had them! Not only was the place a great place to play, the staff and the fellow gamer's are respectful and nice people. Our game was on the one of the TV's and my friend had an unique item fall. A few people were watching the TV and they came over to check it out and started talking to us for a few minutes. They didn't know us, nor did we know them, but we talked to each other like we're friends for years. Over all, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GAME! read more

Your best PCBang for the buck. There are always plenty of computers, staff is always friendly, and plenty of games to keep you from doing other productive things. And if you get hungry, you can always head to the restaurants in the area. I'll admit I don't really favor the keyboards but you can bring your own so not as big of a deal. One big qualm that's unrelated to DreamLab, WHERE MY SC2 PLAYERS AT??!!! I always see people playing everything else (LoL) and find myself playing Dota 2 with friends or SC2 when I'm by myself. The one time I did come here and saw a guy play, he was playing a 3v3 game without any hotkeys and only using his mouse. It was like watching someone dribble with only one hand for an entire basketball game, which is sad. read more

Seriously, this is my favorite place ever. The people who work here are amazing especially Spencer and Brian!!! It gets really busy so call ahead and make sure they have computers available. The prices are great and you make friends with the regulars, which I guess I'm one of them now. Be careful where you park during the day because some spaces have limited times, but street parking is usually available. read more

It's decent, but only decent. PC's only run on a 660, so you may have framerate issues and the monitors aren't 1080p. Cheap peripherals and the chairs are rough. $10 minimum on a card is pretty bad for snacks and such, so bring cash. Price is appropriate for the level of quality. This PC Cafe as well as the one in Rowland called (e-games) are the ones I frequent. I really like this PC Cafe because the workers here are always so nice and friendly. You have to make a username and prepay for your hours, but it's not a big deal. They don't have as many computers as The Grid in Chino or E-Games, however it usually doesn't get too crowded. The only downside is that SOMETIMES, you can get disconnected, but only sometimes. Out of like the 20 times I've been here, it's only happened like 5 times, but it's veryyyy brief. 5 seconds?? And the bathroom smells really bad, like pee... but it's a gaming lab, it's bound to happen with all the boys just running in to do some business in between their games. But this doesn't defer me from giving this place a 5 star review since the service is great, they provide nice headsets, and they provide many other games for you to play. :) read more

Wow. This is definitely a gamers Internet cafe! And definitely the best I've been too in a long time. With rows of gamer quality computers, amazing personal headphones, and lush leather office chairs; this is the place to game! There are even big screen TVs to play PS4 and other console games for the masses to watch. They have their own log in system. It allows you to take advantage of bulk hour deals, and never lose out. Very clever. The staff is kind and friendly. They are also quick to help you with a gaming question, or sell you a game time snack. When I need my gaming fix this will be my go to spot. This place is pretty amazing, relatively clean with fast computers and a good selection of games. A few friends decided to meet here and we played left for dead 2 and payday. 4 hours for $10. The only downsides are: Parking- very small plaza so parking is a pain. Updates- some of the games aren't updated like we wanted to play payday 2 but they had to update which was estimated at about an hour. They only have two rows of computers so it can get full fast. Coco is nearby if you want drinks and din tai fung is right across the street so good location. read more

I thought, great I don't have to wait for a seat. Since it is my first time, I asked the guy to help me make an account and he was really nice about it and helped me through the process For the price, this place is considered cheap, considering they have specials and all. $3 per hour and $10 for 4 hours.. the special goes on. They even added a season pass of some sort so you can play more hours. People usually play league here and its kind of sad to see other games being neglected, but you know league does have championships. Also, since i love to eat and snack on something when I'm playing games, they have a medium selection of candy, soda and chips at the front desk to purchase. How Convenient!? I'm not much of a gamer so the only reference I have are the Internet cafes in China, but I came here with my boyfriend just to check it out and play some games together. Price wise, It's pretty cheap. Service was fine, and the game list was a bit weird to figure out. Clicking through was easy enough though. Overall, we had fun playing together, but there were a few issues that did make it hard for us to fully enjoy our time there. The computers tend to have different games, but not all of them were updated on steam. My computer ended up not responding when it was trying to update Killing Floor 2 so I had to move to another computer, which also had to update the game. When we tried to switch to another game, we would have to wait for the games to load or have trouble getting onto it together for one reason or another. When my boyfriend's computer stopped responding, we just left because we had played our share and didn't want to deal with it anymore. And the bathroom. Oh boy. I have to say that I'm actually impressed with the bathroom because the smell reminded me of bathrooms in China. That is to say, not pleasant at all. If you're here to play League, which most patrons seemed to play, that I think the experience will be fine. For us, it just wasn't something we would do again. read more

From the first owner to the latest, Dreamlab has kept up with the maintenance, technology and professionalism that MOST other lan cafe's lack. I have just recently discovered this place through a friend. I used to go to another internet cafe a few years ago called Cyber Lan. Comparing the two it is an obvious upgrade. Better computers, better atmosphere, and better service. But there have been issues the last few times I've gone there. Most of the games on the computers didn't work. When I asked the person working that night, he said that their servers were attacked a week ago and it messed up all the games. Problem with that statement was that I had gone there before that and the games were still messed up. It really hindered the point of going to play games if most of them don't even work. Once they fix that problem then this place would be awesome. I would suggest reserving computers if your taking a large group. It was extremely crowded at midnight on a Tuesday. Apparently a lot of the schools finished so be prepared for a huge crowd. read more

Brought couple friends here to hang out and play Left 4 Dead 2 . I love the intuitive interface that helped me find the game and the friendly staff service . We ended up coming back 3 times in a roll in the same day ! The environment is gamer focused (Air conditioned to perfect temperature, darker lighting, comfortable chairs, customer service oriented staff, outside food is tolerated, drinks and snacks available, etc.) But what makes this place really cool is the fact that it's a gamer's cave, but in a lounge form. Go on in with your friends, sit on some of the couches, have a laugh, chill, eat your food at the center table (which can be bought a the nearby restaurants, taco bell, seven-eleven, Coco boba, all within a one minute walking distance). Then if your feel like it, go ahead and sit at a computer and play some games (HUGE variety of popular online and single player games) The staff are labor intensive, never afraid to problem solve whenever needed and never afraid to apologize if something goes wrong with your time there. And if it's your first time there, don't be afraid to ask the staff any questions at all (I went in for my first time not even knowing what the place WAS, and within 5 mins, they had me all settled in for an awesome time with my friends). This place is a usual spot for me after work, you'll usually see me hanging out there til closing time (1am), eating with my friends or playing Battlefield 4 online with them. Up to date Computer with some crazy graphics. Crysis 2, StarCraft 2 (both with intese graphics). Now they have free VIP thing where 10 purchases gets you 4 free hours. Great customer service, Nick is chill. But alert with some high level of funny profanity while friends play LoL. read more
