Great service the man who worked there was very nice! The PC's were strong and I had no issues playing games with my friends who got to sit right next to me! The ramen was also great and pricing is pretty good. I also think the chairs were comfy. Overall great gaming cafe

great place to come with friends and play the night away. they've got some tasty ramen options and snacks. people working the front are always friendly - there was a day they were super busy and they were helpful with getting me and my friends computers near each other. on that note, this place can get busy especially weekend nights but if you're patient a comp usually opens up. but most importantly their set ups are fast and clean. each comp comes with a headset with a mic and there's a nice divider between the next set up overall great place!

This place is really clean and nice. I usually play league. Ping was low and mouse is also great. This place is good for chilling time when you guys need to spend time in LA.

Long hallway, people scattered at tables, and then you take a left and suddenly there's this room with round study tables and dividers that give each spot just enough space without making it feel like a library cubicle. Actually it kind of does feel like a library. One room does anyway. Another room goes full cafeteria. The furniture doesn't exactly match and I don't know what the overall vibe is supposed to be but it works. It just works. We went in the middle of the day. Busy but quiet in that way where the energy is there but nobody is performing. If you want a table you need a reservation. Good to know going in. We kept it simple. French fries, carrot cake, milk tea for me and a Korean coffee for Fadi. The carrot cake was legitimately great. The menu has a lot more going on than our choices reflect. I looks like they do some Italian things, among other stuff. I am pretty sure I saw carbonara on the menu so yea, we barely scratched the surface. Forgot to check if it's open late night but if it is, what a great spot for late night studying. There's just something about it that makes you want to share it; not post it, share it, like actually grab a friend and walk them through the door so they can have the experience themselves. We'll be back soon, probably with people in tow.

Housed inside a former bank, the space already carries this grand, historic energy that sets the tone before you even start browsing. What makes this place unforgettable is how it's designed to be explored, not rushed. There are cozy spots scattered throughout where you can sit and get lost in a book, but the real magic is upstairs. It opens into a maze of rooms, each with its own personality, filled with carefully arranged books that feel more like art than inventory. At times, it genuinely feels like you've wandered into a dream. One of the highlights is the famous tunnel of books, which adds to that surreal, almost cinematic experience. Everywhere you turn, books are used as decor in the most creative ways, and it creates this quiet moment where everything else fades out. Upstairs also holds one of my favorite parts, a row of art studios featuring work from local artists. Every piece feels intentional, unique, and thoughtfully placed. Right nearby, there's a small coffee shop surrounded by beautiful artwork, making it an easy place to pause and take it all in. This isn't a quick stop kind of place. Plan to spend a few hours here, wandering, discovering, and just enjoying the atmosphere. It's one of the most iconic bookstores I've ever been to, and it absolutely lives up to the reputation.

One of my favorite things about this place is that it's a low key chess haunt where really good players will come to challenge each other. These guys are better than any of your friends, I got destroyed by a handful of them and had a great time. Tanners also just nails that local coffee shop vibe, it's the kind of place you can spend a couple hours to relax which I love. The coffee is strong, pastries are decent, staff is usually friendly, but man the furniture here really bums out my bum. I like coming here to work, but it can be tough to find a good spot because everything feels a bit unbalanced. No shade to the couches that are located near the front that give the place a homey vibe. Definitely stop by if you're in the area. The daily roast is usually a solid pick if you don't know what to get.

I went in planning to order the spinach wrap, but when I tried to order it, they told me they no longer carry it. Then I asked about the bagels that are advertised in the shop, and they said they didn't have any bagels available that day either. They really need to update their website and in-store signage. I ended up ordering an iced hazelnut coffee that was being promoted, but it was terrible. I order hazelnut coffee often, and this didn't taste like hazelnut at all. I honestly couldn't even identify the flavor. It was a complete waste of $5.25. I won't be returning.

Coming back now... it feels familiar, just with a few shifts. The lavender coffee is still beautifully made--smooth, fragrant, and intentional. They haven't lost their touch when it comes to quality. But at around $10, it definitely made me pause for a second. That said, there's still a lot to love. The food and drinks are consistently solid, and the space itself remains one of the highlights. Plenty of outdoor seating in both the front and back, and it still gives that calm, tucked-away feeling. One thing that was a bit of a bummer though-no outlets. For a place you want to sit, stay, and maybe get a little work or journaling done, that absence stands out more than I expected. Parking is manageable-street or behind the building if you catch a spot. I still have a soft spot for Lamill. It's just one of those places I come back to with a little more intention now, and still appreciate for what it is.
