Earl Grey Cake & Milk Tea
    Akeesa G.

Its really moody and calm environment, lots of seating both inside and out with nooks to hide in. Staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. I had the earl grey tea pie and it was delicious, that the cream on top paired perfectly with the cake which was moist and rich but not too sweet. The milk tea I got with it complimented it well. Parking was not ideal, I ended up parking around the corner and walking... and that was a Friday afternoon, so keep that in mind when visiting.

Really cute cafe! The location had nice dim lighting, open seating both inside and outside and the servers were really sweet. I had ordered their katsu plate and had originally forgot the rice that came with my plate because they were busy, but they were quick to get it out to me when I went to ask. Overall good experience and will definitely return. Highly recommend their Korean coffee.

Early birthday lunch with dear coworkers. I always like the ambiance, the eclectic decor & the historic feeling building of this cafe. Friendly service & we liked they had the bell on the table since the restaurant was large with certain areas difficult to see with walls. There were a lot of people with their laptops - working, studying, etc. Their food is OK but the sweet potato cake was very good. We come for the atmosphere & the friendly service. This cafe has been around for a while & good location in ktown, with parking, which is another plus. Probably a 3.5 stars rather than 3 or 4 stars.

Herb Roasted Spaghetti in Cream Sauce w/chicken

The service has been amazing! Such a great concept for an Internet cafe that is super spacious! I ordered their strawberry-banana juice which was more like an all natural smoothie and an Arnold Palmer. Both drinks were super delicious and refreshing! I got the spaghetti with chicken and it was just as described. They aren't stingy with the serving sizes either. I will gladly be back many times as long as the standard stays the same.

Stopped by here after dinner for dessert and some tea/wine and the vibes were very chill. It was pretty packed with students studying inside since they have nice study areas throughout the cafe. We found a spot outside so as not to disturb the students studying indoors! The service was fine and it didn't take long to get our tiramisu and drinks. Overall, a chill spot for a little treat and drinks.

Cafe Mak is a great spot to go if you need a place to study or get work done. There is a parking lot in the back and they have great customer service. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of seating options. I ordered wings and fries for lunch and they were both good.

Delicious authentic Korean foods--loved the kimchi fried rice and sweet hot Korean-style coffee! The owner, Justine, is humble, friendly, kind, and Esther, Danny, & Soan provided excellent service as well. They truly deserve special recognition. Ideal spot for intense study work, with a clean, relaxing ambiance. Highly recommend. Thank you so much. God bless!

If you're looking for a place to work or get things done that requires your full attention in a different environment, this cafe is for you and me. You have access to free WiFi, and power outlets to charge your devices and other supporting electronics. This place open doors to a huge space with plenty of seating and lounge areas. You will also feel like you're at home because the ambiance setting gives a home like cozy feel. The staff were helpful and sweet and it was my first time here. I ordered an ice vanilla latte and Caesar wrap. Both were an average go to but good! Check this place out! Oh and they offer wine and beer here!

    Kimchi Carbonara Beef Griddle-Fried Udon

Visited this place with a friend a couple days ago. She said she saw this from TikTok! It was initially difficult to find where it was and the parking. We got there at 4:45pm and was able to park in their "additional" parking lot right down the street which opens at 5pm. Anytime before that you could park in a separate lot. First impression going in, it was a hidden gem for sure. There were two entrances but it stays true to the "cafe" experience. You find a seat first then a server will come take your order. Be weary though, people use this as a study spot more and it might be hard to find a spot to sit. Luckily there are plenty of seats outside as well. Depending on the time you come it, there should be plenty of seating. The menu was truly amazing, having an Asian fusion of delicacies. Prices are high but you pay for the quality! If you order a "Mains" dish, you get 30% off your drink! We chose the Beef Griddle Udon, which included a nice serving of vegetables mixed in a light sauce coating. The Kimchi Carbonara was full of sauce and my friend enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely recommend to come here again in the future.

    Yes, they have a lot.

Do they allow dogs when sitting outside tables?

I'm planning to study here tomorrow, is it a good idea?

However, I am almost embarrassed to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed Stagger. There was no line, but it makes sense with the fact that we came at 4 pm. After ordering, we were quickly served. Everything from napkins to drink caddies to straws to drink sleeves were self serve, which I appreciated. Not to mention the free stickers! The drinks were on the sweeter side, which is what I prefer, but not too sweet that it drowns out the matcha flavor. The double matcha was topped with a thick layer of sweet cream which balanced nicely with the slight matcha bitterness. The jasmine matcha, which was the seasonal drink, was very jasmine forward and garnished with flowers (I ended up spitting them out; had the texture of disintegrating paper straws). Otherwise, it was one of the better matchas I've had, especially because it didn't make me feel jittery. The vibe was quiet, clean, and minimalistic. The chairs looked straight out of a modern art museum. It's like musical chairs, but the loser still gets a chair, just one without back support. This is my first time visiting a matcha shop in LA, and the bar has been set very high!

It was really interesting that one of the Americanos was made with Ecuador Los 4 Mundos beans, and the other was made with Colombia El Diviso. When a staff member brought over my hot Vanilla Latte, I asked to make sure it was decaf. He took it back just to double-check for me, and then confirmed that it was indeed decaf. The coffee here is all delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which I really liked. However, the chairs were quite uncomfortable to sit in, and the Vanilla Latte was still pretty sweet even though I ordered it "less sweet." Still, the coffee tastes so good and the staff are so incredibly kind, so it's a really great coffee shop. P.S. A funny thing: They had dog treats in a jar. I immediately thought of my boss's absolutely super, incredibly cute dogs, so I asked for an empty cup and packed some treats to bring to the office for them today. But when I finished my coffee and was heading out, I totally forgot and accidentally threw the cup of treats away along with the empty coffee cups. OMG. (But seriously, all dogs and cats always absolutely love me. Hahaha. When I get to work, my boss's dogs come over wagging their tails and greeting me so excitedly--they are just so, so adorable. And as for cats, there's a stray that I've been feeding every single morning on my way to work for over 4-5 years now. She currently lives at the Buddhist temple I attend. Every day when I go, she follows me around everywhere. She absolutely loves it when I scratch her back with a brush, and when I'm done and try to leave, she taps my foot to tell me to scratch more! It's just so totally cute and lovable. It's a completely white cat, and so incredibly pretty.)
