    BBQ Mozzarella Sandwich

The food was amazing! Espresso was also good. The reason why I gave it 2 stars was because the service was not so good. The girl had a stanky attitude when we were asking for anything, set down our plate of food very hard at us. Like woah sorry for coming to your place. Also the place was very much Greek aesthetic but not one Greek food on the menu... sorry that just set me off for a reason. Would I go back? No. Would I go and order a coffee to go? Yes I would.

Its really moody and calm environment, lots of seating both inside and out with nooks to hide in. Staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. I had the earl grey tea pie and it was delicious, that the cream on top paired perfectly with the cake which was moist and rich but not too sweet. The milk tea I got with it complimented it well. Parking was not ideal, I ended up parking around the corner and walking... and that was a Friday afternoon, so keep that in mind when visiting.

Really cute cafe! The location had nice dim lighting, open seating both inside and outside and the servers were really sweet. I had ordered their katsu plate and had originally forgot the rice that came with my plate because they were busy, but they were quick to get it out to me when I went to ask. Overall good experience and will definitely return. Highly recommend their Korean coffee.

Spacious, vintage library vibe with tons of seating and books every where. It looks like the perfect study spot. But the WiFi is terrible, and my phone had zero cell service, so I couldn't even use a hotspot. One staff member tried to help, then ignored me when it didn't work. There's also a 3‑hour time limit, so you can't really settle in for a long work session anyway. Prices are inflated for what you get. I wanted to love it, but I don't think I'd come back.

Early birthday lunch with dear coworkers. I always like the ambiance, the eclectic decor & the historic feeling building of this cafe. Friendly service & we liked they had the bell on the table since the restaurant was large with certain areas difficult to see with walls. There were a lot of people with their laptops - working, studying, etc. Their food is OK but the sweet potato cake was very good. We come for the atmosphere & the friendly service. This cafe has been around for a while & good location in ktown, with parking, which is another plus. Probably a 3.5 stars rather than 3 or 4 stars.

This place is great for studying and getting work done. They have free parking as well which is unheard of in ktown. Our party reserved a private room to get some work done. It was very quiet and convenient for us. They also have a large selection of drinks and mains you can order. I ended up getting the turkey wrap for $17.99. The wrap itself was good but I wish it came with fries of a salad. Overall a good place to study, do work or grab coffee with a friend

Stopped by here after dinner for dessert and some tea/wine and the vibes were very chill. It was pretty packed with students studying inside since they have nice study areas throughout the cafe. We found a spot outside so as not to disturb the students studying indoors! The service was fine and it didn't take long to get our tiramisu and drinks. Overall, a chill spot for a little treat and drinks.

Cafe Mak is a great spot to go if you need a place to study or get work done. There is a parking lot in the back and they have great customer service. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of seating options. I ordered wings and fries for lunch and they were both good.

Delicious authentic Korean foods--loved the kimchi fried rice and sweet hot Korean-style coffee! The owner, Justine, is humble, friendly, kind, and Esther, Danny, & Soan provided excellent service as well. They truly deserve special recognition. Ideal spot for intense study work, with a clean, relaxing ambiance. Highly recommend. Thank you so much. God bless!

If you're looking for a place to work or get things done that requires your full attention in a different environment, this cafe is for you and me. You have access to free WiFi, and power outlets to charge your devices and other supporting electronics. This place open doors to a huge space with plenty of seating and lounge areas. You will also feel like you're at home because the ambiance setting gives a home like cozy feel. The staff were helpful and sweet and it was my first time here. I ordered an ice vanilla latte and Caesar wrap. Both were an average go to but good! Check this place out! Oh and they offer wine and beer here!

They sell a variety of sandwich which you can customize to your liking. Because the sandwichs are huge, my sister and I shared one. We tried the L'Italiana and added truffle honey for $3. Total was $24 for our shared sandwich that was super filling for two people that we actually didn't even finish our own portion. So highly recommend sharing your sandwich! The sandwich was better than expected, the truffle honey really elevated the flavor of the specific sandwich we got but I would ask for less honey. Too much sweetness did overpower the sandwich. We also got the chip & drink combo for $5 and it's Italian chips & water. They also have a small bar seating area! Parking was a bit harder to find but we found street metered parking. Would highly recommend & can't wait to be back.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.

Our server Abby was friendly and helpful but not over the top- just right. The owner was lovely and brought the food to us . The salad was way too overpriced for the portion size and there wasn't anything special about it. Maybe other than the snap peas were slightly charred? The beef tartare was okay. I think if the toast was not as thick, the flavor would be more balanced. The char on the toast was the main flavor. The ricotta dumplings were the best thing we ate that night, mostly because of the broth. It was equally light and full bodied, I could've had an entire bowl of the broth to myself! The ricotta dumplings were good but definitely needed the broth to complete it. Otherwise, it was just okay on its own. The dish comes with two dumplings. The half chicken was good. The charr on the chicken was perfect. The chicken breast was on the dry side though. The salad was more on the bitter side and it lingered. I liked that the bread was mixed in the salad and soaked up the chicken juice. I think there is room for improvement in terms of the food quality. The pricing definitely doesn't make sense. Half a chicken was only $5 more than the ricotta dumplings?? Idk. $21 for 5 endive leaves, snap peas, maybe a quarter of an avocado... the most overpriced item on the menu for sure.
