I needed a mani/pedi ASAP as I only had 1 day left before an impromptu vacation. I started looking for somewhere to go around 1:00pm on a Wednesday, needing an appointment for that evening. I wanted to go to a place that does "Pinterest inspired" (for lack of a better term) nail art. I looked on Yelp and found a few places I was interested in and each one was booked. Finally around 4pm I found Dream Nails on Yelp and gave them a call. I got an appointment at 7pm for me AND my mom to get manis/pedis! I also asked on the phone about nail art and they said to bring a picture and they'd do the best they could. When we arrived, every employee said hello and we picked out our polishes while we waited. I had picked my colors and showed the gentleman who ended up doing my mom's mani/pedi the photo of the accent nail art I wanted. He picked up a different glitter polish than the one I had chosen and it looked so much better!! I had my pedicure and manicure done by Binh. He was wonderful! I am 27 and this was actually my very first pedicure (I've always been weird about people touching my feet, lol!) EVER! I told Binh this and he was so nice about it. He was very friendly and funny the entire time! Needless to say, I've been an idiot for 27 years for never getting a pedicure. I'm hooked. When doing my manicure, Binh actually practiced hand-painting the chevron design I wanted for my accent nail on his own nail!! THAT is customer service at its finest! I have absolutely no complaints about this place. The staff was great. The salon itself is very clean and inviting. My first pedicure was amazing! First of all, the salon is very beautiful and so clean. I was greeted right away and everyone was friendly. I didn't have an appointment, and had to wait about 15 minutes which was amazing because they were pretty busy. My nail tech was Debbie. She was so friendly even after I messed up one of my nails. She didn't get irritated or anything! She even made a joke about how excited i was (which wasn't a lie!) she even made a joke about how they are better than the picture i showed her (which again was the truth) She was so patient and just overall wonderful. I would definitely recommend this salon, but Debbie will be my new nail technician. My nails were a more difficult design but she was more than willing to give me EXACTLY what I wanted and kept making sure it was how i wanted them. I paid 55$ for these which I think was so worth it. I've been there a few times because it's conveniently located. The first couple I had a younger guy who was more interested in watching tv or texting than doing my nails. Today I had a girl who was incredibly rude and gave me the quickest pedicure I've ever had in my life. She was really rough and was pulling and jerking my legs around rudely. When I was done she said "go to the drying station" and walked away from me. I never saw her after that so I paid someone else. My friends and I came to this salon about a week ago and mannnn ! The customer service was awesome !! And also the quality of work ! I don't remember the guy name that did my nails but he was really nice. He doesn't speak fluent English but I can understand him perfectly. Also the cleanest nail shop I've been to so far since the experience I had with couple of nail shop around the area. My toe had an in grown and fungus. The manager Michelle cut off my ingrown and clean under my nails it's been a week now and my nails are growing out I don't know what she did but it is working !! Henry did my nails, I was charged $35 & gave him a $5 tip. I had my own nail polish with me. I would not EVER visit this salon again or will EVER recommend, Henry's attitude/demeanor was very standoffish, cold ugh like dude if you dont like working in the service industry QUIT!! We never make appointments and never have to wait long, maybe 10 minutes at the most. This place is consistent, that's why I keep going back. I use to like this place earlier but this time my experience didn't go well, I wanted an American Manicure and I clearly said No "french manicure" and they confirmed they do American Manicure and I can come in but sadly they didn't knew how to do it or the girl who did mine didn't knew it for sure, an American Manicure has an ivory tip and a little nude base but not clear one but she just did a plain French manicure which I would have got from another salon on a Groupon half price deal, I only went to this place coz they said they do what I wanted,another thing I really hated was the girl servicing me was utterly rude, I was literally scared to explain stuff to her as she was quite adamant of what she had and what would look better. I went to get my nails done and it was one of the worst experiences I've had getting my nails done anywhere. If I could give them no stars I would. My regular nail tech at my regular salon had to cancel last min so I made an appointment at Dream Nails in Greentree. As soon as I sat down they complained about the structure gel that I had on my nails and how they don't do that here. Instead of telling me they couldn't do it they proceeded to try and take the gel off and the drill began to burn as they continued. Everytime flinched they just shook their head like it was my fault they didn't know how to handle this type of polish. As they finally began to do my nails they complained about the design I wanted. I'll post what I asked for with this review. You would of thought I asked them to solve a mystery with how they reacted. I have never once been to a nail salon that put up such a fuss when asked to do the most simple things. To top it off after all this fuss and not even getting what I wanted they charged me $70... The first time I got my nails done here I had a great experience. However, when I went for my fill I had a very poor employee do my nails. They looked uneven and sloppy. I had to come back in 2 days because one chipped. I came back and got the chipped nail fixed. 2 days later another nail chipped. This time I came back I asked them to completely redo my nails which they did at a discounted price. Yet again, within 4 days this time one chipped. I went back, had a gentleman fix my nail. He was very sloppy. I asked him to put a tip on the nail and he said no. By the end of it my Nail looked bulky and it was uneven. He didn't even put a top clear coat over what he did and I had polish all over my finger. Needless to say.. I won't be going back unless I get the owner. I came home and filed the nail down to make it look more even. I had to go back to the salon 4 times in 17 days for constant fixing and repairing. Unacceptable.... read more

I gave this salon a try today after not coming fir 3 years. I stopped coming because every time I made an appointment I ALWAYS had to wait at least 15 minutes past it. Today was no different. I arrived 5 minutes late exactly. Was put into a pedicure chair and proceeded to wait over 25 minutes. After asking the owner why I would bother to make an appointment and let her know this is exactly why I don't come here she said "THEN YOU SHOULDN'T COME". At this point I did not even have time for the full service, with no apology. As a business owner myself I find this appauling. I must say the remodeling of the shop looks great, but someone needs to train the employees. The guy who did my nails kept getting up and down to do other things. Updated review- the owners have never been especially friendly. They clearly have their favorite clients, and barely acknowledge anyone else. I generally ignore it because I'm always happy with my nails. But I was there this weekend and they were downright rude. I've gone here several times and always had a good experience. Prices are fair, nail technicians are friendly, the salon is clean and well decorated. The only complaints I have are that went getting a pedicure, they don't ask you what kind of pedicure you want even though the list I saw someone post shows different options. (Didn't see a treatment menu in the salon.) And I never know when I am supposed to pay and when I ask someone if I can pay (who wasn't my nail tech) I feel like I am I inconveniencing them. I don't have high expectations for these type of nail salon/spas, but when they are busy the owner will not even look up to greet you, ask if you can wait or to schedule an appointment. They'll offer wine or a drink to certain clients only- even if you have been a long time ( but not as frequent) client. This is THE best nail salon in Pittsburgh. I have been to a couple of different salons all over Pittsburgh and this is by far the best. As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was different. Their interior is so beautiful, CLEAN, neat, and luxurious. It really sets the mood as soon as you enter. And what follows does not disappoint. I did not set an appointment. I walked in for a full acrylic set and a gel pedicure. I went on a Saturday around 5pm. They were not particularly busy so there was no wait at all. Henry did my pedicure and my full set. He values his work and his clients. I stubbed my toe pretty bad a week before and when he did my pedicure he cleaned my wound up. He did not just paint my toes and keep it pushing. He took the extra time and delicacy to make sure my feet looked perfect. This right here is reason alone for you to go here. Why settle for less. Henry cares about each client and you won't get that anywhere else. Then when he did my full set, tears came to my eyes. I have NEVER received more gorgeous nails. He took the time to put the pink on one nail and then ask me if I liked it. This is not what most people will do. They will just keep going and then you are too nervous to speak up. No. Henry was the nicest and most humorous nail tech I've ever had. They have so many options here as well. You will never get bored of ur nails. I will never go anywhere else. I was uncomfortable from the moment that I walked in. I made an appointment but still felt like I was bothering the nail tech. The actual pedicure hurt and there was no effort to help me relax. The "leg massage" felt painful and rough. The part of the salon that I felt the most tension from was my nail tech making comments to the other techs in a foreign language. This salon has gone downhill. It's like a factory the nail techs watch the front door continuously when people come in. So when they're doing your nails they're not paying attention and they are cutting you with the utensils. When you address it with them to be more careful they look at you like you're crazy like no we didn't cut you. But they did the male nail technicians are very rough except for Lee. Ken is rude. Ben is strange he doesn't say hi but thinks he is so funny. The bathroom is so unclean. You don't even want to touch anything.
