He was extremely nice and helpful and I can see he is working hard to stock his customers needs. If you go in there for something and he doesn't have it, he will try to stock it for your future purchase. He went the extra mile to show me his birds and even found some birds calls on the internet. I mostly saw fish and birds items and he also had some cute puppies. My four is not for the size of the store but for the service he gave me.

I phone the gentleman who sold it to me, didn't even ask for a refund, simply told him the bird died, and immediately he was on the defensive. He told me I must have pinched the birds throat. Which I didn't because the bird was eating on his own out of my palm. He then said I must have dropped him, also which I didn't. I then asked if I could please return the cage and stand because I had no use for it. He said no, and that I was made aware of their no return policy. He never mentioned the policy to me. I should have know better from the smell and the dust on the items. To make things worse I paid cash. If I would have paid with a card I would definitely hav declines payment to them. But be warned: don't purchase birds here. What horrible business practices. He also claimed he wasn't the owner, but then slipped and said his brother and him had owned it for 25 years. Going into this store opens up your heart to life's creatures. We didn't spend much and ended up with toys and useful products for the cat. I mean, come now, they have cat toothpaste and shampoo. Definitely go to get something for your pet, but don't expect a lot of variety. The products remain excellent, and when the stars align, the employees are wonderful. As I walked in, the staff was very friendly but there seemed to be some confusion about the services I had booked. I scheduled the Luxury Bath, which includes nail trimming, ear cleaning, and the additional amenities, along with add-ons for deshedding and hypoallergenic shampoo. The receptionist repeatedly mentioned she would tell the groomer to remove the extras, and I had to clarify a couple of times that I did in fact want the full luxury bath with the add-ons before it was understood. The service took about an hour and a half. I'm unsure if they rotate staff on the dogs at this location, but at the Plantation location one groomer is assigned to the dog and it typically takes about an hour. My dog doesn't love nail trims, but I did notice his nails had several broken pieces afterward. I'm also not sure if he was properly deshedded. For the price I'm paying, I expected a different level of service and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I would recommend the Plantation location instead.

They explained to me that it was ok, that they had a brush to take care the knots. I'm thinking, perfect, sounds good! I show up and the time we set for the appointment, and they seemed confused that we were there, citing that they were backed up with work. I'm presumed that it wouldn't be a problem since that was the point of an appointment. Perhaps they just forgot we made one? Who knows. A man came out and looked at our pup and told us that she had to be shaved down all the way because she had knots. We told him that on the phone I was assured that it would be alright and that they would give her a proper haircut. He continued telling us it couldn't be done, he didn't know what we were talking about, that he was going to shave her anyways. Started to sound like a classic bait and switch. At that point we told him no thank you, and left. Why assure us over the phone that it would be ok, that they could cut her hair and comb out the knots if only to deny that was ever said in person? I'm never coming here again and would never recommend this place to anyone that cares for their pets, period.

I ended up with a "poodle" the cut was super short and her head is shaped very weird now. I was upset but had to cough up $40. Still LOVE my dog but it feels like a different dog. So......if you dont mind having your dog "buzzed" and getting an "UNAUTHORIZED NEW LOOK" then by all means feel free to experiment.
