When I called, Taryn's incredible customer service, patience, and empathy made the process so much easier. She answered all my questions and worked with me on payments to create the best package for Luna. Before drop-off, I met Wil during an unplanned tour, and his honesty and confidence reassured me I was making the right choice. Wil went above and beyond during Luna's training. Knowing I was anxious, he modified the standard report cards to include videos with voiceovers explaining her progress and the reasoning behind each exercise. This thoughtful gesture made me feel connected to the process and will help me reinforce her training at home. Before the program, Luna was reactive--not aggressive but overly excitable. After three weeks, she's still her fun, wacky self, but now she listens, follows commands, and stays calm around other dogs. While there's still work to do, her foundation is strong, and I'm confident moving forward. Luna is now a service dog in training, and Applause Your Paws laid the groundwork to make that possible. I'm already planning to send her back this summer because they're amazing at what they do. I'm so grateful to Wil, Taryn, and the entire team for their care and dedication!

How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Instead, we watched through the live suite camera as our dogs were fed breakfast while there was still feces and what appeared to be urine in their suite. The attached screenshots show the waste remained in the room from 7:43 AM until at least 8:28 AM, and the suite wasn't cleaned until later that morning. Obviously my dogs will not eat if their food is right next to feces or urine. And they did not even send a message of them not touching the food... Feeding dogs in a soiled suite is a basic sanitation issue and completely unacceptable for a facility that markets itself as a luxury pet resort with 24-hour staff and daily housekeeping. We ended the stay early because we no longer felt comfortable leaving our dogs there. Although they refunded the unused nights, no one apologized for what we witnessed. We were even charged for baths, yet our dogs came home still smelling dirty. We paid thousands of dollars expecting exceptional care. Unfortunately, this was not our experience.

After 6 years of being a loyal customer and trusting this company with my dogs, this is absolutely unacceptable. When it comes to our pets, we trust groomers to care for them and treat them as if they were their own. Today completely broke that trust for me. I will NOT be bringing my dogs back. They lost a loyal customer today. Please be careful who you trust with your fur babies. Based on my experience today, I would recommend taking your dogs somewhere else. ******* UPDATE******** Your response makes absolutely no sense to me. Whether my dogs were groomed six months ago or six weeks ago does NOT justify them being cut to the point of BLEEDING. If my dogs were as severely matted as you are claiming, then as the professionals, you should have called me and explained the situation BEFORE continuing with a shave so close that my dogs ended up with cuts and irritated skin. You could have stopped the grooming rather than continue to the point where they were hurt. Let's also be very clear: I was not upset because my dogs were shaved short. She can either pick him up or we drop him off at her house. Throughout our trip she sends us frequent updates and pictures! She also has her own pup which has become our dogs best friend haha. They love playing together and Bruce loves Fatima. When he sees her he freaks out with happiness. She takes the pups on frequent walks, trips to the park, and can also administer medicine if needed.
