I have been in the Real Estate business in the Denver area for 29 years I have had a lot of sewer lines clean because of the home inspection. Quite often we are told the sewer line needs to be replaced at an astronomical cost. as well did in the case in old Aurora, home as built-in 1952 The owner we're told the line was collapsed and needs to replace, I called John for a second opinion, he worked hard for over 6 hours pulling all sorts of things out old mops heads, socks, trash bags, tree roots, rock yes ROCKs He got it clean as a whistle. Saved the owners $20,000 and saved the sale of the home. My seller thinks I am a hero, Remember you get what you pay for, All the cheap $99.00 guys said it needed to be replaced at a cost between $15,000 to $20,000 John saved the day at a cost much much less, DONT GO CHEAP It will cost you more!!! John was extremely professional and on time. He was at all times polite, friendly and informative. He explained everything he was doing and why in a manner that a non-plumber could easily understand. He also didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. I learned so much about sewer systems and their maintenance while we chatted. What was supposed to be a fast cleanout turned into much more (extensive roots). I was very comfortable with what John had to do and why. He took what could have been an unnerving experience and made it much less so. The clincher- my girlfriends 5 cats immediately took to him. Cats are like dogs, if they like and trust someone they've just met then you can too!! I highly recommend John. Great guy. Great work. Very reasonably priced. read more

John has been a gem of a plumber for us! We first called John to check out a backed up toilet in our master bath. He was quick to reply and came first thing the following morning to fix the problem. He has since installed two toilets for us. One toilet had a wax seal that shifted and John came right away to replace it no charge. Being a first time home owner, I had no idea the importance of having a reliable and quality plumber, but John has been both of those things for us. I would recommend Metropolitan Drain Cleaning to anyone who is looking for a plumber that answers the phone and gets the job done fast and right. read more

We are full time investors and have worked with John for nearly 5 years now. He is an integral part of our team. He is extremely responsive to our needs and has always gone above and beyond from a customer service perspective. We use him for sewer scopes for all of our investment properties and he is always knowledgeable and to-the-point. In the event where there has been a dispute between John's report and another sewer company's opinion, a third party has always backed John's word. He has also had our back and unclogged many drains, saving us thousands of dollars. We highly recommend this company! read more

I needed someone to fix a drain issue causing backed up water spilling out of Laundry drain. The previous service I used was booked out until a couple of weeks out. Gave John a call he out within a couple of hours from the original call. He did the job, within an hour. Did what he needed to do to solve the problem and not magically "find " anything else that needed fixing. He ran the line well out beyond the original clog location to be sure that everything would flow and not just get stopped up farther down the pipe. John explained what he was doing and why as we went along. read more

I am not a big reviewer but when I receive amazing service, I need to tell the Denver area about it. We had a plumbing emergency today, I called Metro on a referral. John answered the call and asked a lot of questions - kind of a water damage triage - to confirm the urgency. He then pulled Bruce into the job via phone and Bruce responded to the site within an hour. Bruce had the problem addressed and fixed in a fair amount of time for a fair price. As with all services like this: Price, Quality, Service... pick two. In this case, I think I got all three. read more

Excellent job. Two weeks ago a drain was backing up into my utility room, i called and John answered right away and told me what the problem was, and said he would be over later that afternoon. John showed up and went right to work and he worked hard to fix the problem. The next week, Joe came over to finish the job ( i was unavailable thru the week). Both John and Joe were easy to work with, the amount charged was more then fair. I'm happy to have a plumber i can count on in the future. read more

John and his Staff at Metropolitan Drain Cleaning are life savers. I am an insurance agent that had a client with a mysterious leak in her basement. John found arranged an appointment with a water leak diagnosis and repair specialist. His professional did a thorough review that indicated the source of the water problem was because of a municipal leak. I'll continue to refer John and Metropolitan Drain Cleaning to my clients. read more

Stellar service. Our water heater died just before 5pm yesterday, and within 5 minutes they'd arrived, assessed the situation and created a plan to replace the unit. They also did a thorough main line sewer clean out, complete with a scope, and arrived early today to promptly complete the job. Clean, helpful, prompt and friendly, I'll be sending my real estate clients their way for sure. Thank you!!! read more

Great service! I called with a leaky kitchen sink and John came by within an hour. He assessed the issue before heading out to his next commitment, and had Bruce come by to finish the project. Bruce was incredibly polite and took the time to walk me through the problem and my options. The price was fair, and they guarantee their work. Highly recommend this local company. read more

I depend on Yelp reviews to steer me in the right direction and finding Metropolitan was a gem. John got to work without delay and actually cleaned the line to the city main instead of just breaking the clog like most would do. Metropolitan is the only drain service I will use from now on! read more
