We have had this company do work at our home under our home warranty at least four or five times. Each time, the repair technicians that came out were able to do the minor repairs and had good customer service. However, each time we have had to engage with the company, the appointment scheduler, a female office person, has had a poor attitude. This most recent time, today, she had the audacity to raise her voice at me. As a result, we have instructed our home warranty company not to send this company back to our home. This company was requested through warranty, to fix an attic plumbing leak. 1st off they give you a 5hr window, with no realistic expected time of arrival, only a call 15mins before, to let you know they are on the way. So, you can't do anything. Day #1, I was given a time of 12pm-5 My son needed to be picked up from school at 130pm, so I left the house only to get a call that they were 15mins away. My teenage daughter was home to let them in but they said they needed to come back, because another dept had to fix the issue. So I asked for a morning appt which was 8am to 1pm window. Day#2 I waited the whole day, no call or text. I call them around 11am, and the receptionist (who was no help) said I would get a call 15mins before, to let me know they are on the way. 12:55pm comes still no one, so I leave the house to go get my daughter from school they call at 1pm saying they were 15mins away. I ask them why they are just now calling me, no explanation given, so I rushed home. 1:15pm still no one here. By 1:40 I call and asked for a manager. The rude manager who took no accountability,tried to call me a liar by saying her receptionist never told me 15min, she said 45min. Really?! I recorded my call that clearly showed each time she said 15min. Then instead of trying to fix the issue she argued with me, and said they would cancel my service appt. American home shield could not change the status back to in working and had me on the phone for over 30 minutes and Could not connect me to a manager. They were quick to collect their money though. The person who picked up the phone at Drango stated they're not as perfect as me. Can you believe this and now I'm stuck with a leaky pipe and the handle backwards. After the deep freeze I had a broken pipe and called Draingo in Brighton. I was put on the schedule for late that same day. When no one showed up I called and left a very nice (literally) message. I received a call the next morning just before 8am. They said they tried to call my 615 number and had no answer. I have NO 615 NUMBER! She advised it would possibly be the next day. I told them I would find another plumber. Office staff should have their act together. My caller ID is 901 and she read back the number on the original call. Shame on them. They referred me to a company called DrainGo that I sometimes see n the area... they had mixed reviews so I didn't know what to think. The technician team name of Cage and Tyler showed up on time and ready to work... I knew they had to replace it so I was waiting for the kicker... They were reasonable and once agreed they went to replace it... they were great and explained everything and answered all my questions! They also have great respect for your home, gentle with everything and finished as quoted. I will refer them to anyone that wants quality work at an affordable price! Those guys rock!!! read more

Horrible experience with DrainGo TN. I would give zero stars due to a very rude receptionist, Laurie (name provided by her). Lack of professional integrity in conducting a business with customers. The conversation had to deal with scheduling a job, and she stated, in a very rude tone, that they were not interested in accommodating the customer since the customer is the one who needs the service. This was the second time that the technician had to come out because they made a mistake the first time and left without fixing my kitchen faucet, and without saying anything to me. Just disappeared. I made arrangements to leave work in order to be there for the appointment. The second time around, I really could not ask to leave work again, but I could be home by 3:00pm (reasonable time within common working hours). Laurie stated multiple times that she would not accommodate and implied that she could not care less. It was awful doing business with her. I called my warranty company and asked them to take this company off the list for my address. Never again! read more

The two service engineers were extremely pleasant, on time and quick on their first visit. They arranged to get supplies and came back two days later, having called me to update me on getting the parts the day before. They rightly went to an emergency call first - you'd want them to do that for you - then came out to me a couple of hours late. They quickly fixed both faucet issues, and helped me fix a garage door too, that was too heavy for me to lift and rehook up. All in all, exceptional service, and all around good guys! read more

Draingo was the company contracted by my warranty company (American Home Shield). The experience started off poorly when they cancelled on the first day they were scheduled. The next visit included them assessing what was wrong - this included looking at a leaky tub faucet, a sump pump under the house and determining the water regulator for the house was not functioning correctly. They told me the problems could not be addressed during the visit and that they would have to come back on a different day and that to access the water regulator they would have to dig up the lawn (they did give me the opportunity to dig it up myself or pay them $375.00 to do it). The morning of the 2nd visit I went out and dug up the lawn but found no water regulator. I did not think it could be under the house since they had been under the house during the last visit, but I decided to go check anyway and low and behold there it was (I dug up the lawn for nothing) - No additional work had been needed to access it. After replacing the regulator (thanks) they looked again at the faucet telling me it could not be fixed and that my tub had been installed incorrectly and that to fix it they would have to tear up the tile work surrounding the tub. Additionally, they said the work would need another approval from the warranty company. After several days of not hearing from them I started calling and after several attempts was told not only would I have to cover the cost of tearing up and replacing the tile there would be an additional $375.00 fee associated with accessing the pipes that was not covered by the warranty. This seemed excessive and I contacted the warranty company and although they originally agreed to sending another plumber for a 2nd opinion they came back and said Draingo was the only option and that their opinion stood, but that I could hire a plumber myself, pay him out of pocket and appeal. So I did. I hired MPE Services, LLC and instead of a 5 hour window they gave me a 30 minute window. The price they quoted just to look at it was $89.00, but for that 89.00 he changed out both cartridges in the faucet in about 15 minutes. Long story - short: If you are hiring avoid Draingo. If you have a warranty and have to use Draingo understand they may try and take advantage of you. read more

John Varner just saved my house from flooding. The is the second time I used Daingo Plumbing. My first experience was a water heater that was efficiently and quickly replaced with no call backs. I was worried about a leaky bathtub faucet that was given a temporary fix until a permanent part could be replaced. I called on Friday and got service Saturday. I'm having this company replace my water heater. In doing so they need to add about 3 inches of PVC piping to the cold and the hot lines (current water heater is 57 inches, new will be 54 inches). For 6 inches of PVC they want to charge me $225. For reference, PVC costs roughly a dollar per foot (that's a 4500% up charge). Employees are rude and contradict themselves whenever you question them about where the charges are coming from. First was told my pipes are not up to code and need replacing, when pushed on what code was violated I was told that they are up to code but need to be modified. Then I was told that they ALWAYS need to modify the pipes for an instillation as they are cut to remove the old water heater. So although this always needs to be done, this is not a part of installation. I spoke with the manager who told me "I've never installed a water heater and know nothing about it"..... once again, that was the manager of Drain Go....a plumbing company...she's in charge. I would not recommend that any one use this company if they desire good service, polite employees or reasonable prices. read more

I called AHS, my home warranty company, to set an appointment for my plumbing problem. I mentioned to AHS that the list of problems did not cover what I thought. I was told to pick one. I did and when Draingo came out I mentioned the problem. They told me it was the shower head clogged. My son came after and showed me it wasn't the problem. I called Draingo to mention it and they basically said " sorry that's not what we were called out for" I told them what AHD said and they couldn't care less. I'd have to pay for new call. The nonchalant technician that was sent out didn't take the time to located the leak and decided to play the guessing game about where the water was coming from. So I did his job and located the leak, the water was coming from the new water heater that was placed months ago by THIS company. For some reason the person who placed the water heater thought it was a good idea to only replace some of piping and not all of it. So now I have to spend hundreds or even more to cover water damage to my floor and ceiling. read more

Was assigned Drain Go via my home warranty and they scheduled an appointment for 1/12/18 which they no called no showed. I received a call later that night from a technician who was assigned my case but is in a different state, he told me they had cancelled/rescheduled all appointments due to weather in Nashville which would be fine had they called. I received a second call from a dispatcher in Memphis who rescheduled my call for 5pm on 1/17/18. It was supposed to be a special time so I wouldn't need to take off from work again and due to the "communication gap", their words, for not showing up, calling, and dispatching a tech in the wrong state. Fast forward to 1/17 and the technician called me at 3:15 and said he would be here in 10 minutes, not a 30 minute call as they claimed, and almost 2 hours early. The technician said he could take another call and visit me after which I was willing to do. 3 minutes later, no exaggeration, I get a further call from a dispatcher telling me I was refusing service and they would have to reschedule as I was scheduled for 12pm, which is either a lie or the dispatcher on 1/12 lied to me. I explained the issues I've had getting a tech out and she kept telling me I would need to reschedule despite the tech working it out. She called him and he confirmed what we discussed. She returned to the phone and said "it may be 4 hours or 20 minutes, and if you aren't there we'll cancel your appointment and you'll need to reschedule". Incredibly unprofessional attitude from the Huntsville number, if I hadn't been waiting over a week from the time I'd put in my "within 24 hours" service request I would cancel and refuse to do business with them. The only saving grace was when the technician came by and fixed the issue. He was pleasant, friendly, fixed the problem in just a few minutes, and we even discussed Game of Thrones. read more

Draingo is the plumbing company that my home warranty uses so I have no choice. I have required two service calls. Each time I was given a noon to 5 appointment window and each time he showed up at 5:30. Both time he didn't have the part he needed for my repair. The first time he came back the next day and completed the repair, a second day of my waiting for him to show up. The second call was to replace a garbage disposal. He showed up with a 1/2 horsepower disposal, my broken unit was a 3/4 horsepower disposal. I had to choose whether I wanted to settle with the lesser disposal or spend another day waiting for the plumber to return. I chose to accept the lesser replacement. After this second unsatisfactory experience I felt the need to share it. When they show up, AND when they have the right part, they do good work. read more

Hi, They were sent to me house by AMERICAN HOME SHIELD for a water heater. The technician said that parts were not available and it would be 395.00 to replace. My warranty covered parts and labor. Draingo reported to AHS that it was a charge due to code. AHS then said they would only cover the parts and to write the check for 395.00 directly to Draingo. I requested the charge for this so called code and to separate general install so that AHS. Draingo refused ! AHS was no help and said the only way to get done was to pay 395.00 directly to Draingo. No wonder Draingo said it was out of code because they would get 395.00. I called 3 plumbers and they all qouted for basic install around 400.00. The other plumbers never said my water heater was out of code and actually laughed at the fact that Draingo was trying to rip me off. The only additional upgrade to code was a 30 dollar pressure tank and about 20 dollars in pipe which was included in the 400.00 estimates. I again asked Draingo to help and they refused, in fact they were very rude !!!!! Please be careful with this untrustworthy company which main branch is located in TN.If you have a home warranty please consider not using Draingo as the service provider. I would also not recommend American Home Sheild. read more

I used Drain Go about 6 months ago using their techs in the Jackson and Brandon MS area to install an electrical tankless water heater and also install a sink. Both were half done and bad jobs. The guy Jeff, who installed the water heater indicated he could put it in but did not service them. I felt even though he didn't service them because it was not his brand, I figured he would at least install it and have it working properly before he left. The heater is supposed to heat up to 131 degrees but my water was not that hot. I found out later it's only heating to 108 degrees. Jeff refused to try any troubleshooting to try and get it to normal working temperature before he left because he didn't service them. I was left would a luke warm water heater still not working properly. When I called a few months later to ask again to check, the response was "We don't service them and I knew that". Extremely poor, poor service and would not recommend. The sink installation was also crappy. Jeff has to come back out 2 times to fix a drain leak because it wasn't done correctly 1st time. The leak was finally fixed, but I later realized the top of the sink on the countertop was not installed correctly and could lead to more leakage. I pointed this out to Jeff when he first installed but he said that was the way it was supposed to be. 2 other plumbers came and looked and verified what I thought. It was installed wrong. I will never ever use this company again. They will tell you anything just get get your money. read more

My home warranty company sent Drain Go to us when we were having issues with rust in our pipes. When the guy arrived at our house he was rude and acted like he could care less about what our problem was. He had a young kid with him and another that was either his son or a friends son. Either way, the entire situation was very unprofessional. I showed him two glasses of water that I had run earlier with sediment on the bottom and then when we ran the water again it appeared to be clear. Because it was clear at that time he said there was nothing he could do and that maybe I should try flushing out the system. He stated that he was not covered to take care of it so I had to do it. He then wanted his fee for coming out and then left. He was there for less than 15 minutes, got his money and left. He was extremely rude the entire time and very unprofessional. To add to it, he had the young kid write me out my receipt as he obviously could not be bothered with it. Now, a few months later, our water heater needs to be replaced. Maybe if he would have even taken 5 minutes and looked at the water heater, which he never did, he may have found the real problem and would have been able to take care of it then. As it stands, he obviously could not be bothered with doing his job and therefore I have to go through the warranty process again. Thanks for doing nothing except taking my money. I would like to report how extremely rude and unprofessional one of your plumbers, Chad is. I have a warranty with First American and was emailed and texted a number to contact. I called to find out how long it may be as the water is turned off to my house and water is leaking from my upstairs into my living room. I told the dispatcher that it was a warranty call and she acknowledged and told me that she would send it out as an emergency call. I received a call from one gentleman who was already at a site and he said that he would send it to someone else. Chad called me and asked what the issue was and I explained, then he asked if it was a warranty call and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong for calling them directly and that I had to wait until Monday morning. He would not listen to a word I said, he kept over talking me and then he hung up the phone on me. If this is the level of customer service you provide to your warranty clients, then you all should not participate. read more
