After answering 2 follow up questions he gave me an all-inclusive quote, which was the best of the quotes I received. This all inside 30 minutes. We promptly scheduled, and Eric an Daniel arrived on-time. Even though the installation was more difficult than expected because the water heater drain was completely clogged with sediment, he stuck to the quote. In 2:15 hrs they were done, they hauled the old unit away and everything worked perfectly. They left the area clean and the performance of Water Heating Experts exceeded my expectations. Now the other companies. One did not return my weekday query for six hours. One took all info and pics, said they had everything and I had to call them back at 2 pm the next day as I had heard nothing. One arrived 2 1/2 hours late with a high quote. One ignored the water heater I requested and tried to upsell to a unit over double the price. The very fist of these quotes I got said they would price match other companies "even if they were 500-600 dollars less" (and what does that tell you!) . I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. When Joseph summarized the installation he did, he told us he installed the dishwasher correctly and it's level, but the dishwasher door doesn't open/close the way it should because the surrounding cabinets are warped due to water damage. He told us the garbage disposal is leaking, and he also told us how to dry everything out. My husband replaced the garbage disposal, but when we did a load of laundry (in the adjacent area) the kitchen floor became flooded. So, we called Perfect Plumbing again. Joseph researched the situation and told us that he needs to replace the old piping (~64 years old). That means he has to cut out the wall in a few places to get to the pipes--behind the fridge is a hole about 5.5'x2', by the washing machine is a hole about 5"x5", and under the sink is a hole about 4'x2'. He also created a new cleanout because the original cleanout is not very good. Joseph also installed a new waterline to go to our refrigerator. Before they left, Juan cleaned up everything very well. Joseph even removed the annoying remainder of the protective film that was stuck on the front of our new dishwasher door! Joseph is a very accomplished plumber and we would hire him again.

I confronted LP about how the copper pipes were mounted on the exterior of the home as they did the job. They had copper pipes running down the white exterior wall of a home in a beautiful Palm Beach Gardens community. Subpar work anywhere in modern times! LP said it wasn't possible to mount on the interior and refused to mount on the interior. I was then assured that this was okay and would not be an issue with the HOA. I explained that it would be an issue for me if the HOA or Code was violated. I was assured it would not be a problem! End result... their work resulted in an HOA violation and costing more out-of-pocket expenses to correct! Modern plumbing is not normally run down the exterior of a home! Grant said he would correct the plumbing with more money and at a discount ($395), which he stated was "at cost". Grant said he cannot be expected to be held accountable for HOA rules. It should be noted that Grant was yelling at me when I called him out on the deception. I questioned his yelling when he finally allowed me to speak and Grant blamed his loud voice on his diesel truck. Ok. lol.
