They replaced my ten year old water heater two weeks ago and replaced the leaking flap and valves in both toilets today. Their service, starting with a phone call, was courteous and professional. Their disclosures are transparent and they give you the cost of the job up front. Kudos to Yo and Mitch for showing up on time and being patient with an aging property. And, thank you Martha for getting me in this afternoon. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Buckeye plumbing. Our technician, Chris, was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. He communicated all of the options with us, helped us select the best option, and then quickly made the repair. We will definitely use buckeye in the future. As a Wisconsin Badger, I do wish they had a different company name though! read more

Rickey from Buckeye did a service call at our house in PSL this morning. He was on-time and prepared to work on our problem. He explained everything he would attempt to do, was very professional and friendly. He ID'd the issue and fixed it within an hour. Charge was very fair. At the end he advised me on a few actions to avoid a recurrence of the problem. All in all I am very happy with Buckeye Plumbing and Rickey in particular. I highly recommend these people for your plumbing needs. read more

This company- Buckeye plumbing- is truly one of a kind - I would never use anyone else! Their employees are professional and dress as if they are guests in your home - listen to your issues and then fix them and always consider your costs and try to keep them to a minimum! This time the problem didn't completely go away so called them back and immediately the issue was noted and without hesitation Daniel acknowledged what was missed and no additional charges would be applied! In today's world this was so refreshing and a standard of customer care why Buckeye is my go to plumbing company read more

First, they are such a large company that they have a call center. So the CSR, they have to be the go between. You never talk to a plumber. Don't even think about getting a ballpark quote. I needed a water heater replaced and provided photos. It is a water heater in a new condo with modern closets in the hallway next to the units entry door. Very easy access and not a cramped space etc. They wanted $300 non-refundable just to come out and take a look. Told me since the Condo was Downtown WPB that the technician may have a hard time with parking etc. blah-blah-blah. $90-$120 maybe for the service fee but $300 is ridiculous. So... between the call center and not being able to actually talk to a technician and the fleecing of the service fee, I would look elsewhere. read more

This was our first experience with Buckeye and the first time with Olvid. He installed a disposal and new faucet set. The service was top notch from the first phone call to schedule the appointment through the punch list and clean up. Olvid is a master plumber and one of the most pleasant humans we have had the pleasure of being around. He came in, took care of business efficiently and made our problems disappear! Will definitely use Buckeye for future work and will be delighted if Olvid gets scheduled. Side note - after the fantastic experience with Olvid, we had Buckeye install three new toilets, replace bath & shower cartridges / trim and a number of other small jobs this week. This time they sent Jonathan and the experience was amazing again. These guys are PRO's in every sense of the word! read more

Within the extremely cramped quarters of our bathroom vanity, Chris, our master plumber, was able to install our new faucet after a knock-down, drag-em-out fight with the old plumbing. He won! He did a fantastic job for us once again and we highly recommend Chris and Buckeye Plumbing to anyone looking for a plumbing company! read more

I have hired Buckeye Plumbing 6 times to install replacement components in my 40 year old condominium apartment (2 faucets, 2 toilets, shower handle cartridge, and a water heater.) Buckeye also installed my under-the-sink drinking water filter. All their work has been excellent. My recent toilet replacement by Buckeye plumber Olvid is excellent including my correspondence with Buckeye customer service rep Beverley who addressed all my concerns. I will continue to call Buckeye for ALL my plumbing problems. The proof is in the pudding, Buckeye Plumbing is a winner !!! I had water leaking onto the floor of my home office, and Buckeye Plumbing had a plumber arrive to my house about 1 1/2 hours after I called them, to find the leak. He checked all of the possible causes and found that water was leaking from the water pipe that an outdoor hose spigot was soldered to, which had not been soldered correctly, years prior, and was now causing water to leak through thru a small hole, where the solder was, thru the exterior concrete block, and into the interior of the home, onto the floor of my home office. He removed the old spigot, cleaned the pipe, and soldered a new spigot onto the pipe, which fixed my leak. He did everything in about an hour of time, including cleaning up every area that he had worked on. He was very careful and did an outstanding job. I have used Buckeye Plumbing now on three separate occasions, and the work that their plumbers do has always been great, and reasonably priced. Great Plumbing company with great plumbers! read more

Had another great experience with Buckeye Plumbing. Very professional and most important, got the job done!

Requested non-emergency service for an outdoor above ground pipe that had a pinhole leak. Scheduled a date and time frame and was called earlier because technician was in the area. Technician was pleasant and skilled. However, $388 (!) for a 25 minute job seems excessive. No breakdown of parts/labor and when requested from office it was refused. Office customer service was not what it used to be. They lost our business. read more

A toilet would not flush properly. The technician came, put on his shoe protectors, and figured out, rather quickly that the toilet was blocked because of wet wipes! He retrieved his gizmo, sent it down and the problem was fixed for the price of the service call. We decided to go with a professional service to replace our water heater that was getting old and having issues. (Tiny black rubber pieces were showing up in the hot water, which indicated something falling apart in the assembly.) My wife remembered Buckeye from decades ago when she used them on a bathroom project. Pros: 1. Jack, our assigned plumber, arrived on schedule (a bit early even) and was fully prepared with ALL items needed to get the job done in his truck. He assessed the situation and saw that the previous installation was done with a flexible hose, which turned out to be the cause of the black rubber pieces coming out of the hot water faucets. He advised to redo the pipes to correct the previous install to make it all proper. After I agreed and approved the work, he started right away and made sure our flooring and doorway was protected with the covers he brought. He worked diligently and skillfully to get it done right. In about two and a half hours he was done from start to finish. The work was definitely first-class plumbing. We were also very comfortable with him in our home. He has a great demeanor and air of friendly professionalism. 2. Jack provided us an extra 'bonus' by installing a dedicated water shut off for our duplex. Before, we only had a shared shutoff with the neighbor. 3. The office people did all the permitting without me having to follow up. I received the final permit in the mail within ten days. Cons: 1. I sent Buckeye the specific dimensions of what would fit in the small space where the existing water heater had to come out. The unit they suggested would not fit by about an inch. They were slow to get back with me in finding the right unit, so in the end it was up to me to find the right unit that would fit and pick it up myself. Note: They won't work with the Rheem brand since the warranty claims with them have been very difficult, according to the person I spoke with. We ended up with an A O Smith water heater that I located and picked up. 2. The person who arranged the work didn't tell me that the installation could be a lot more than quoted. I ultimately agreed to the higher price because I saw what Jack was talking about in regards to what needed to be improved, even though I thought the up-charge was heavy. I agreed to the almost $400 extra based on the fact that it was a small amount more than some of the other quotes from other plumbers, and I really felt Jack would do an awesome job. That said, it would have been good to know that the cost could be significantly more after I illustrated the dynamic of where the old heater was in the house and the ease of access. Conclusion: Despite the extra cost, and having to find my own water heater unit, I felt that the whole experience was 5-star, and am glad we went with Buckeye. We will definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues and projects. read more
