Decided to give these guys a try so called them and was able to make a same day appointment. Robert texted ahead of time and arrived within the arrival window. He was very nice, answered all my questions, and fixed 1/4 problems we had. One other issue he says could not be fixed and another he could not find a problem to fix. For the last problem, he said he to see if he could get the part and that he would get back to me. If he made an effort to reach out I missed it and as far as I know he never followed up. Since I was surprised that a special part was needed, I went out to get my own part and will try to fix it myself later. He did fix the main issue we called him out for. Given the mixed experience, I will likely try one of the many other eager plumbers who contacted me on Yelp and give one of them a try in the future, but I will not be opposed to using WR again.

They were the only plumbers in the area who were willing to install the GE units and one of the very few who seemed experienced with installing heat pump water heaters. Many of the others we spoke to seemed more interested in steering us away from a heat pump water heater. They also installed a hot water recirculating pump for us. The technicians Sergio and Luis did a great job with both installations and were able to deal with some unexpected complications and Marie in the office was very responsive to our questions. The price for the water heater was over $700 less than an estimate for a comparable Bradford White water heater from another plumber, while the price for the recirculating pump was over $700 less. In fact, the price for the pump and its installation was $350 less than the price for the pump alone on the manufacturer website. I highly recommend them!

The next day Sam followed up with me and gave me a quote for a water heater install and said he'd be there within 2 hours when I was ready. I told him I needed to discuss with my wife. During this time, I called another local company for a quote and they quoted me about 800$ more for the same exact branded/sized water heater, installation hoses/connection, etc. their warranty was also one year less than AAA was providing. I then called another plumbing company and their quote was even more astronomical than the second company. So I called Sam back after agreeing with my wife that we would proceed with him. He stated he had a new customer in the 1 hour we'd last spoken, but not to worry because he'd still be there same day just later in the afternoon. He provided a time frame and text when he was 30 min out. He arrived and got the water heater swapped out in 2 hours as he said over the phone.
