A dozen of us decided to head to Niagara for my birthday and we reserved a bottle service booth at Dragonfly. For a two-bottle minimum at $300 a bottle the only thing you get is a place to sit. We were still expected to pay cover, some of our group didn't get line bypass because they didn't arrive before 11. The bouncer also shook us down for a $50 bribe. Music was ehhh. Guys are grabby, slobbering and disrespectful, waitresses and bartenders are rude, bouncers are looking to make as much $$$ as they can in bribes. $1000+ and they act like they are doing their patrons a favour by letting them in the door. read more

This place got crazy fast but i'd agree with a previous review that this is a last option. It's too crowded come weekend time and no place to even dance at times. The drinks are ok but made poorly. Also if you want to hear Soca, Reggae, Hip-Hop this place probably isn't for you the DJ here loves his techno and dance. I personally enjoyed myself but would have more if I had the room to do somethin lol read more

The bouncers at this club are so aggressive and unprofessional. They were not busy the night my friends and I went out, however, they still gave us issues getting in. First, they told one of the guys that his shoes were too casual, the second we approached the bouncer. Then, they basically attacked another guy we were with for NO reason. He was not starting trouble nor was he directly talking to any bouncer, let alone the one who grabbed him from behind and threw him down. When we tried to RATIONALLY discuss this with the other bouncer, he act as if he didn't see anything. Needless to say, we did not end up staying here nor will we be returning. Management needs to hire security guards who know how to do their jobs. read more

Wish I could give zero stars, I was talking to my gf where we could hear bc the music is loud like any club, and I went to smoke a cig and security said I couldn't re enter bc I "threw a drink at a bouncer" compete BS. I'm from the US coming up for a night. Police were no help and they just acted like it wasn't their problem. DO NOT EVER GO TO DRAGONFLY. $20 cover to make up Bull shit and throw you out. Can't even review a video camera. Do not give them money, worst experience of my life. read more

Crazy! Music is great and the venue itself was awesome but the atmosphere was super hectic. At a couple points in the night fights almost broke out right next to me. Little too intense for my taste read more

My girlfriends and I came to dragonfly this past weekend. We stayed in the falls for the weekend and had so much fun Friday night that we decided to come back Saturday as well. This is definitely the place to be in Niagara Falls and we could see why. It was beautiful and very well run. On Friday we didn't wait in line and we all got in free ( ladies night ). There was a awesome surprise live performance.. Apparently that happens a lot on Fridays... ( famous Fridays) Brody Jenner is going to be there in a couple weeks. We are totally coming back for that! Lol. My gf was talking to the bartender and she was so nice and put our whole party on guest list for Saturday night as well. We had a blast. Great music. Reasonable prices for drinks. Awesome staff and great place to hang with your friends for some drinky's and dancing. Can't wait to go back!! Thanks Dragon Fly!! ;)) read more

Pros - Large space, great atmosphere, decent DJs ... Cons - Line- ups for no reason, OVER-PRICED cover & drinks (unless you opt for bottle service) ... not really a place to go to with a few friends for a night out and dancing, more for a special event... because by the time the line moves and you get in they will expect you to pay a cover of about $20 per person ... not worth it... read more

This was a typical club full of idiots bumping into you every second. Should be larger dancing area as you cannot dance at all without getting bumped into by drunk idiots every 6-8 seconds. Staff was good, bartenders were good, music was phenomenal. That's why i gave 2 stars instead of one, the music was excellent. Overall was a 200$ night with cab and cover, and we did not enjoy it too much. However, with extra room to dance and actually enjoy ourselves this would be a 4 -4.5 star nightclub!! read more

We had a really awful experience trying to get into the club. We had a large group (about 60-70 people) and we had bottle service for Friday night, we were on the guest list. We got there right when we were told to get there, and had no idea which line (there were about 4 lines) to get into. Once we got in the front of the first line we were in, we were told we needed to go in a different line. We waited in the other line for some time before another staff member told us we needed to go back outside and see someone named Rachel, but she was so hard to find a bouncer needed to take us back to her (this was after waiting for some time in the line). The bouncers were extremely rude throughout this whole process. At this point, there were several members of our group already inside, and a couple of our group members waiting outside for us. They were yelled at by a staff member for staying outside. Once we finally were brought to the right line to stand in, we were able to get inside. We waited in a small, crowded area. They were making us wait (I'm sure there was a reason but I'm not sure what it was). The bouncers were physically pushing people back and screaming at us to move back even though we were smushed like sardines. My friend was physically assaulted by a bouncer. She told him to move back but we could not move because people behind us were pushing us forward - so she figured the logical move would be to physically push him back into the crowd. I nearly had a panic attack because so many people were pressing up against me and I couldn't breathe. The whole process took us about 45 minutes and it took the whole group about 2 hours to get in, so many people missed the bottles that they paid for. Other members of the group paid the bouncers an additional $60-100 to get in and then were still not let in. The staff was very disorganized and they did not seem to have a good system of getting people through the line. We had fun once we got in, but we paid over $200 for the night only to be physically and verbally assaulted by the bouncers and to be shuffled around different lines because the staff were not on the same page. read more

I have been here twice before. This club can be really fun if you're prepared for the dress code and willing to have an expensive night. The first time we went was successful. I went on a Friday night where women got in free. We didnt realize this offer ended at midnight. We got there a couple minutes after 12 and had to pay a $10 cover. The music was good and the bathroom attendant was really nice. The bar tenders however were extremely rude. When the bar was closing down I tried to get a water from several bar tenders and they would look at me then walk away. I would have tipped them as well...their loss. We tried going again last friday. If men were not wearing dress shoes they were turned away. I know this is standard practice, but when I was in the club I noticed at least 3 guys wearing sneakers. I'm not sure how they slipped through the cracks. This was frustrating because our group of 16 had to go somewhere else (we still had fun though!). read more

There are way better clubs -Don't go here! I went about a month ago and started a tab at the bar..the bartender made me pre-authorize my credit card for $100 (which I did)..then at the end of the night I settled up with the bartender. 2 weeks later I had two charges on my credit card (on two separate dates)...they charged me for the pre-authorized$100 amount which they shouldn't have. When I spoke to the manager, Stephan Voight he said he wouldn't refund my money and accused me of going to the club twice. Be careful when you pre-authorize your credit card. read more

Large dance floor, fun music and strong drinks! It's a packed place and has lots of places to break out. They have a large VIP area and plenty of places to chill out. The only downfall is there are no places to go outside with the same atmosphere. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had anywhere. I don't know how an establishment can treat people like this. It was my birthday & I had booked a booth & 2 bottles for a minimum of 20 people friday night which I also stated we would be buying another 2 bottles after we got comfortable. I did this thorough email & phone multiple times, where I was assured not to worry. Upon arrival they seated us at a table that fit 6 people, while all of my guests were standing. I argued and spent over an hour there with the 'so called manager' Eric who I spoke to over the phone. He did not help whatsoever. He was literally dodging me for an hour telling me , 'I'll see what I can do'. The waitress we were supposed to have was extremely rude. She muttered something under her breath which I responded to by telling her a little something myself. I'm not used to being treated with such disrespect especially being a paying customer who booked a month ahead of time. While this hag of a waitress was muttering under her breath, still Mr Eric the most useless manager I've met to date, was still nowhere to be found. Over an hour later we got tired of no service and being dxcked around so we left. While leaving, Eric calls my name and at that point my only response was to flip him off. I chose at that point to spend our money elsewhere and on an establishment that was organized and appreciated and treated their customers with respect. We took our business to club se7en up the street which offered a much larger booth with 3 couches to fit all of my guests for a cheaper price. At least we all have a good laugh at Dragonflys expense because they are the crappiest place we've ever been. We even started an instagram chat amongst eachother the other day naming it 'dragonfly sucks'. So don't waste your time here, they treat people terribly. The biggest scam and waste of time ever. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I wish rumours was still around because that was the best club in niagara. Rip rumours! read more

USA BEWARE!! Make sure you currency exchange as the bartenders completely ripped me off!! The DJ was horrible!! Will never go back again!!!

I had a terrible experience here. The bouncers were quite rude, refused entry to myself and friends even tho we were on the guest list. We asked for the manager and the bouncer laughed at the request. Lets just say if this is the initial experience, I'm afraid to see what the other staff is like! read more

This is not a negative review but hopefully management will use this as a staff coaching opportunity, first off I was very impressed with the door man who was pleasant and guided us in, thank you. But I do want to share my bad experience with the gal at the bar, I ordered a rye and ginger on my first sip it tasted so bad and this bar gal was standing right there I tried to explain to her that it tasted bad but all she did was argue with me that I had to specify if I wanted other then generic bar rye, (which I get) but she very much embarrassed me in front of the guy I was with.. I was more then willing to pay for a 2nd drink but that wasn't even an option. All she had to do was ask if I wanted another drink and let me know that I'd have to pay instead of talking over me and embarrassing me, I had ordered a rye and crown my 1st drink and she knew this, if she wants to be successful in this industry and reap the rewards of good tips my advise would be first off learn to be polite to your patrons. Thank you read more

Hello, I am writing my first review ever to ensure all women are aware of what happens in this nightclub. I wish that I could give negative stars for this establishment. I was part of a bachelorette party who had gone on a wine tour during the day, VIP to this nightclub was offered as part of the package. It seemed as though all bachelorette or bachelor parties go to this club. Upon entering the building it is not apparent just how huge and overcrowded it is, it seems like a normal club with good music and a nice dance floor. Immediately after trying to make our way in, it was apparent that the facility was overcrowded and the only way to stay with my friends was by holding onto their hands for dear life as we attempted to make our way through the sea of people. At first, it was kind of fun, everyone dancing and having fun but then things quickly turned sour. Men were pushing their groins onto me and other women as they walked by. Men grabbed at my breasts and attempted to put their hands up my skirt and at one point, I was pushing men away from me and yelling for help. I approached a security officer and told him what was happening in the depths of the crowd and that I needed help to be directed to an exit. No help was given. I am writing this as a public service announcement to all young women who may visit this bar to stick together and be careful as you there may be a risk for your safety. This is a serious issue and it is not okay. I would suggest that any wine tours offering VIP to this club for hosting parties to try and find another establishment. I will never go back there and will continue to talk about my experience to ensure other women are aware of how bad it is. I hope that management of this club read my review and hire more security, do not go over capacity in the future and try to fix the issue of potential risks from the people who frequent the club. Worst experience of my life. read more
