Such a cooooll spot for a late night occasion. I was dragged in here with my friend meeting a date for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how lit it was lol. There were so many people in here this particular Saturday night. The pool tables were available for use, they had a basketball machine and other cool games inserted throughout the venue. I put this place in my notes to come back and try on my own time. We were in there well past 3:00am. I'm not sure when it eventually closed since they do say it closes at 2am. This was definitely an interesting vibe. A vibe I couldn't quite put my finger on. It wasn't really busy, it wasn't really full of locals, it wasn't really divey, but it wasn't really clubby. It was just a lowkey chill spot. A good place to hang out late at night. Came here on a Saturday night around 1am. They have good drinks selection. Not the strongest and the well drinks aren't the greatest selection of bottles, but the price is super cheap, so I can look the other way. There's the main bar with a small dance floor in the beginning and then there's two small bars in the back with the billiard. The bathrooms were definitely pretty bad. Everyone says their wings are great. I got here after the kitchen was closed. It doesn't look like a place I'd want to eat at but I feel like next time, I need to try it. There's pool table, darts, and tvs all over. Shared parking lot with a handful of other businesses with about 30 spots. It's a 3 maybe a 2 star spot. read more

The bartender was soooo incredibly drunk it was unacceptable. She was rude and it was not possible to understand her cause everything she was saying did not make sense. She demanded that we showed ID for every drink we would order even if we were already ID'd. She was SOOOO drunk she said she had no idea what angry orchard was. If I could give this place zero stars I would! I went here yesterday on May 5th. The bartender who worked last night was completely rude, dismissive, and unfriendly. You literally had to wave him down to get a drink or order food. When our food arrived he didn't even ask us if we needed napkins or water. I went here with my best friend last night and we went to go get our drinks and the bar tender was rude as hell and being disrespectful to me. I ordered a basic margarita. He goes with attitude " this isn't chillies or Applebee's" I said "ok? Do you not know how to make it" he laughs snarky and goes " obviously I do I'm just telling you this isn't a restaurant". I said " obviously, can you make the drink or not". Then he made the drink poorly and handed it to me aggressively. Never again will I go to this bar. This is not how you treat customers at all. I attended a 50th birthday party this past weekend ( on January 13th 2024 ) at slick Willie's and I was excited cuz I've been here before but quite along time ago ( must've been under different management ) cuz the experience I had at this place this past weekend totally SUCKED ASS !!!!! The party was at 6:30 ( a surprise party at that ) when people started showing up for the party nobody ( staff ) greeted any of us asking if they could help us . I had to go up to the bartender and ask where the party for this person was and she looked at me like I had 18 heads and had absolutely NO clue who I was talking about or what party I was talking about . All she said was that last call was at 7:15 cuz they were closing at 8pm ( due to the weather ) which I get but it would've been nice to know this ahead of time and the attitudes and service at this spot was HORRIBLE !!!!!!! And when it was almost 8pm some guy ( I'm assuming he was a manager cuz he never stated who he was or said anything ) was following us around almost like LURKING .... Making everybody feel really uncomfortable and awkward.... But he was doing this to make sure we were cleaning up and getting ready to get out of there ( not even an hour after we got there ) and NOTHING was explained to any of us or reimbursed or at the very least ...an apology... couldn't even get an apology outta anybody after ruining my sons fathers 50th birthday !!!!! One of the absolute SHITTIEST experiences and rudest people to deal with . I willl NOT be recommending this place to anybody.... If anything I will suggest they go elsewhere if they want their party to be a hit . I was totally DISGUSTED with this experience . I hope something is done and someone is held accountable! read more

I really enjoy this place and I used to frequent it when I lived in North Tonawanda. It's a fun bar with great drinks specials and lots of room for playing pool, darts, watching a sporting event or just hanging out. The prices here are good and it's just a good chill place. Games of pool run you $1.25 and darts is about a dollar a person. Theres's enough parking out front in the plaza so that shouldn't be an issue. Bartenders and staff have always been friendly and attentive. Seriously this place is a joke. Visited this past Saturday 1/16 and hangout in the back bar area with a large group of friends. It was my boyfriend buddy's birthday and everyone decided they wanted to come hangout here. Before I get on my rant about my experience this past Saturday It should be known that I used to frequent this bar often, weekdays and weekends. One of the bartenders, Joe is very welcoming and friendly, I love coming into the bar every so often just to see him when he works and grab a beer or two before heading elsewhere after. This Saturday was a disaster. I have no idea who the bartender in the back was but he should no longer have a job there. Younger male, dark hair, rude, disrespectful and COMPLETELY unprofessional! It also didn't help that he had no idea how to pour a Yeager Bomb as well. This kid was not only rude to my boyfriend but rude to another girl who he was clearly trying to screw after he got off. Took this young woman's phone out of her hands and kept asking her if she had nudes, saying he was going to look through her photos and attempt to find them.My boyfriend attempted to intervene asking him to give the girl back her phone and that he was being disrespectful. The young woman went behind the bar to get it back from him where he then stated in front of everyone "that's okay i already have photos of her in my phone"..... SCUMBAG! Later in the night the bartender then let the same young woman get behind the bar and start pouring beers, shots and drinks for other customers...can you say unprofessional?! Regardless if he knew this young woman or not 1. you don't talk like that to another customer, take their phone and disrespect them in front of other customers in the bar. I understand this place is a little run down but I'm sure the owner of this bar doesn't want his business to be represented in such a manor. 2. I also cannot believe this guy allowed her to go behind the bar and serve other customers, god forbid this girl got hurt while serving she could have sued this place. I am a fan of Slick Willies, I think it stands out from the rest of the similar type bars in the area. They have two large rooms, a massive custom bar in the front and a decent size horseshoe bar in the back in the "game room". The bathrooms (or the men's atleast) is very large, however it's usually kind of dirty. Whenever we come here they seem to have a good selection of beers, however if you're struggling to find something you like just go check the other bar, I find they often have different line ups. With two large bars, you almost never have to wait long to get a drink. The "game room" is massive, they have half a dozen pool tables and several dart boards/arcade games line up in it. They also seem to have a DJ or love band pretty frequently, which is nice. read more

The drinks are cheap and the food is really good. The bacon cheeseburger is my favorite. Also, the specials can't be beat. They have 3 or so different ones, everyday. The is one issue though, they're cash only. There are ATMs available but, they come with a $2.95 fee which is incredibly annoying. If you don't carry cash it could be annoying. read more

If you enjoy darts or pool that is an option as well. Great jukebox and music selection. Awesome customers in there as well that we got to chat with since we were visiting for the night. (This review is for during the day, I have never been here at night) So I went here yesterday with a friend of mine around 1pm. With the other pool halls closed, we decided to travel to Slick Willie's to see if we can score a table. It was very quiet inside with only about 6 other people there but we found 6 empty pool tables all to ourselves in the back. The bartender served us drinks and prices were reasonable. The one pool table got my 5 dollar bill stuck but the bartender was nice enough to give me a 5 dollar bill back as a refund. She was super nice and attentive even turning on extra TV's for us. The bar is spacious with signs on the wall and a bathroom full of graffiti, just like most bars in Buffalo but I really appreciated the bartender's friendliness and the relaxed atmosphere. I met my friends here yesterday for the Bills game. It was packed but the place is huge so it can accommodate. There were only two bartenders but they kept everyone happy. My friends and I decided to go here for ladies night and they flat out rejected us and didn't even take the time to look at our ID's because they made a random policy to not accept out of state ID's. I came all the way from Florida to come to college here. Don't call yourself a college bar if you're not going to accept REAL ID's, especially of college students. The bouncers here have no clue what there doing. I tried to go here the other night and they wouldn't let me in saying my I.D. was fake when I'm actually 21 years old. The first bouncer refused to even look at my I.D. A second time and the second bouncer wouldn't even look at it once. If they can't tell if a I.D. is real, how can they tell if one is fake? Used to go there all the time when I lived there, I went there tonight, tried to buy a round for my friends, and placed my credit card on the bar, and they told me they didn't accept credit card. However, they have an ATM in the building with a ridiculous 2.50 service charge. What a racket. In 2013, to not have a credit card function in a busy bar is an absolute embarrassment. People don't carry cash around them like they used to. It's not 1989. Get with the times because not taking a credit card in this day in age is an absolute joke. read more

My friends and I have been going to slicks every thursday since last September, not because its amazing but because it is a cheap uber and cheap drinks all night, that was until this past week when we turned up as normal and the bouncer informed us that they no longer take out of state IDs which is problematic considering 4 of us are British. The bouncers not only said that we were not welcome inside, but they were incredibly rude. My friend simply asked when we had been so many times before, why we were not going to be allowed in and we were swore at and told that "we aren't from their country so we cant speak English" ..... being from England. Just kinda (very) dumb and the way they spoke was incredibly unprofessional, definitely came across as having short man syndrome. Even if we should be allowed in, not that we will because of the incident AND we are foreign lol, we won't be going again. read more

The bar itself STINKS as in there is a distinctive odor, they can't poor a proper draft beer, it is dark and dank, the sound system sucks (uneven bass and treble), the overall bar is DIRTY and what they try to pass off as food is barely edible. No wonder they attract the sketchiest of the sketchy and the cheapest of the cheap in patrons. Perhaps this is why their "ladies nights" attract the senior classes of the area high schools. Good candidate for Bar Rescue but I doubt even Taffer could stomach this place. read more
