I ordered delivery because there was an incentive with instacart and Uber eats. Dragon City did not disappoint! I bought more food than I normally would so I'd have food for the weekend, since I'm studying. I ordered pan fried dumplings, Sesame Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein. Wow the portions were very generous, the dumplings were pretty good ( not the best I've ever had but a solid 7 out of 10. The Lo Mein was a 9 out of 10 so yummy and a generous portion for sure it lasted little me for five meals! My only complaint is that it had a lot of oil in it. Tasted great but I'm health conscious so there's that. The sesame chicken was sweet and savory so yummy mostly sweet but not too sweet, served with rice. They included a complementary Spring Roll. The Food was delivered fast and it arrived hot, I requested chop sticks and they sent several sets. I will undoubtedly order from them again. Decided to try a different spot for Chinese. For my taste, Rangoon was sweet, I prefer more savory. Black bean sauce was "meh", I prefer a flavor punch with bite along with chunks of bell pepper and onion. Egg rolls were delish. I'll head back to my usual spot. Just a taste preference. read more

Ordered here on a Friday night. Wanted to try the local Chinese spot and had seen the Buffet sign several times. This is not the buffet location. My mistake. I ordered my usual items and anticipated similar tastes to what i order at home. This was not the case. The food wasn't bad, it just lacked that lack of flavor that Chinese food provides. Do not order ahead online. This restaurant will literally have you waiting hours after you initially order online and make you wait in the restaurant for the food to "cook again". Nobody should have to wait over 15 minutes for food they ordered nearly an hour in advance. The food tastes fine but the service is trash. Orange chicken is not on the menu but they will make it for you. Quick service and friendly family business. We normally go to China Chef but they are still closed from COVID19. My wife was jonesing for sweet and sour chicken so we decided to give Dragon City a try. The food was quite good and gives China Chef a run for the money. My wife had the sweet and sour chicken, I had pork lo mein and we shared an order of crab rangoon. All very tasty. The portions are nice sized and reasonably priced. They have a good system for providing the takeout food with absolutely no direct contact with the restaurant staff. There was quite a lot of items to choose from including hibachi! Sushi was fresh and there were about 8 different rolls to choose from. They have sushi in rolls and pieces. They have Hibachi that you gather your raw ingredients and they cook to order. They have as American Bar with pizza, chicken tenders, etc. A seafood bar with many selections. Dessert and salad bar. An Ice Cream station. As you can see, they have a wide variety of selections to satisfy any customer. I have found that the food is well prepared and fresh. They also have a selection of adult beverages such as beer and wine. If you are looking for buffet style eating, you just can't go wrong with Dragon City. It's the best in the Eastern Shore. Worst service ever I had to ask to get a refill on my drink then they didn't tell us before we got our food there there are different sections for lunch and dinner and I was charged for dinner the waitress acted like she didn't want to serve us, we were noticing the no one else was getting treated the way we were, I don't know if it was the interracial thing cause my friend is black and I'm white or what the reason was but it was the worst service. It's buffet fill your belly Americanized Asian Food with a Mongolian Grill and a sushi offering included in the price. The place had a minor make over during the lockdown and is not as tired looking. This is no buffet, and it's not a fancy "oooh, look at all that brass and mother of pearl" kinda place. It's a hole in a strip mall kinda place, with about 4-6 tables, and you order at the counter. That's just fine with us. The food is incredible! I'm not an expert on Chinese food by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know this is some of the best I've ever had. I've had the sweet and sour chicken and the Hunan chicken, and they were both fantastic. My husband, the illustrious, bearded Marcus H., had the Mongolian beef, and it was equally delicious! The crab wontons are different from most places, and by far, the best ever. The egg rolls are pretty average. The drinks are canned sodas, so if you plan to eat there, and you usually get a refill with your meal, get two drinks. The food is served in to-go containers with plastic flatware and they give you plenty of it. The prices are average, and lower than a buffet. The food is great quality. The service is friendly. Update to original review: Well the delivery time for first order was obviously a fluke. I placed an order on a Monday night at 7:11 and after not having received anything by 8, I called and asked status. I was told that the order just left as they were busy, but food would be fresh. Food was fresh as the manager promised, but didn't receive my order until 8:30. Maybe this place should provide an estimated wait time like most places do. I probably wouldn't have ordered if I knew I had to wait 1 hr 20 min for an order... I haven't actually visited the establishment in person as I've only ordered delivery. Speaking of delivery, I timed how long it took from the time I placed my order online to the arrival of delicious General Tso's chicken. 25 minutes! I almost missed the delivery guy when I took my furry fool out for a walk. Our order of General Tso's and the mixed vegetables was great. Btw, I am easily amused and got a good laugh out of the General Tso's description online. The sauce is "ammassing"! Ha, good food that arrived quickly. They have apparently moved here from New York (don't ask me why) perhaps because there's way less competition for great Chinese take-out...? I ordered a few dishes for delivery and was overwhelmed by the amount of kick-ass Chinese food I received - I really think it was 15lbs of super fresh, flavorful, mouth watering, expertly cooked food. I got takeout, General Tso's (Tao's) , Ma Po Tofu, and Pork Egg Fu Young. It was good, better then most and it was cheep. Here's what they do have...Really good food! The business here is mostly carry out or delivery and yes there was a line and the phone rang constantly for orders. There are a few tables if you want to eat there which we did. I had shrimp egg foo yung. My boyfriend had pepper beef and onions. Both came with fried rice and an egg roll. I'd say the taste was above average. We also got an order of crab Rangoon. YUM! Probably the best I've had. The food was fresh and came to us piping hot. The lady that took our order also helped in the kitchen. She was extremely busy and her English vocabulary was not large. I confess - I ordered Chinese take-out yesterday. Don't ask me where this place is, but do ask me about delivery time. Fast! I barely got the money out of my wallet before the doorbell rang. There is no on-line menu so when I called the phone person and I just made up an order to make the $15 minimum. Of course it was the standard order since all I had to go by was a Jerry Sienfeld sort of memory. The portions are so huge that for my $15 plus tip I will have at least four meals. The rice was just as Chinese rice should be. It sounds normal but really that it is a big deal for me and is often missed. One of my dishes was a pork something and I am still impressed by the amount of vegetables and their freshness. The chicken was processed. Yuck, but the raccoon enjoyed it. The soup was soup. I am not sure of its origin but it did not make a mark in my palette. Please don't put those packets of sauce in my bag - it is just sad. However my fortune cookie had a great message! We have ordered delivery from D.C. 3 times now and have not been disappointed once. The prices are very on par for the amount and type of food served. Their steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon are the best we've ever had and both the pork lo mein and general's chicken have been perfect every time. I'm sold on this place for delivery.
