Delicious foods...but they use soy bean oil for cooking. It is shown right on the front of their paper menu. I can no longer eat there....soy bean oil is very unhealthy for the human body. Here is an excerpt from Nourishing Traditions... a health food book: Nourishing Traditions writes "we strongly advise you to avoid the many polyunsaturated oils touted as health foods, such as soy, cottonseed, corn and safflower, even cold-pressed versions of these products. These oils are almost always rancid and most have a very high omega-6 component. Surfeit of omega-6 interferes with enzymes needed to produce important prostaglandins, and thus may contribute to impaired immune function and to a host of other diseases. I ordered take out. When I called I was told they take cash only which was GREAT to know right up front. Second when I walked in I was pleased to see how clean the kitchen area looked and I enjoyed a few of the signs hanging- like don't lick your finger!'. I'm new to the area and was looking for somw good Chinese takeout. Then I saw Dragon and had to try it out. I got the bourbon chicken and white rice. It was so delicious and well cooked. The staff was nice too. Definitely will be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Yikes! I should have known when I walked up to the joint and saw workers sitting on the curb smoking and playing on their phones that this wasn't going to be a good experience. I took a menu from the stack and a handy dandy pen and started marking items I might want to order. I asked the man-child behind the counter a question about teriyaki chicken and he must have been losing at Candy Crush or in the final moments of a bid on eBay because he was ticked that I interrupted his tech time. Nevertheless I proceeded to order. Before I even said veggie (as in veggie fried rice) he said, "I need a size." Quart. Chicken fri.... "I need a size for everything" he interjected. Disclaimer: If you don't start with the size, be prepared to be treated like a stupid child. I told him never mind, crumbled up the menu and left. I did give them 2 stars. Hard to find a good Chinese Restaurant outside of a large city but the Dragon is a rare find located in a shopping center between the towns of Bedford and Everett! Service was quick as it should be for a Chinese Take-Out (although you can eat in also). The food is authentic and you do not feel like they popped open a frozen Chinese supermarket meal like many out-of-town Chinese restaurants seem to do (or at least their food often tastes that way). The Menu is large and has a great variety of traditional Chinese meals. We moved to Bedford from the New York City area where Chinese restaurants are ubiquitous. The Dragon compares favorably to those restaurants except that the Dragon prices are cheaper! If you are craving good, tasty Chinese food, you will not be disappointed with the food from the Dragon! read more

Attention Bedford! If this is the best Chinese food you have to offer, I am truly sorry for you! This place was not conveniently located right off I-70 as it appeared. And the food...oh my, how is it possible that everything tasted the same and yet completely without flavor? Nothing made it taste better, I am certain I emptied at least 4 packets of soy sauce on everything in an attempt to make it palatable. My favorite item of note, stir fried shrimp is actually deep fried--seriously? Travelers beware, this is not a place to stop in for "random Chinese" or the local fare. Hooray, Chinese food! This is one of two Chinese food restaurants in the area and totally worth going to for a quick fix. It's inexpensive (as most Chinese food is) and family-owned. The only downsides are: they don't take credit cards (cash or check only) and they don't deliver (which is the point of Chinese food, right??) Still, it's good food at a good price and the menu is appropriately enormous. read more

This is a pretty decent takeout style Chinese Restaurant. This is one of only three takeout style Chinese restaurants I would recommend within a 40 mile radius ..
