They make everything quickly and their food is always great. I highly recommend ordering from them.

Wow, I wouldn't have believed that Spring Mills housed some of the best Chinese food in the area…read morebut this place is great! I reluctantly drove the 45 minutes to give it a shot after hearing from multiple people about this place. It appears to be a family business in this rural area with a gravel lot adjacent. The restaurant is a small building with numerous tables for in service dining. They also seem to do a lot of takeout business. The service was attentive, refilled our drinks and the fried chips numerous times. They provide the fried chips with duck sauce to start for every table (something that seems to be missing from most places these days). The egg rolls appeared to come fresh out of the oven and they were some of the best I've had. I got General Tso's chicken and my wife got Garlic Chicken. Both dishes were delicious, fresh, excellent flavor and we had plenty for lunch the next day. I honestly can't wait to return!

We were told to check our Valley Wok, and I'm so glad we did, even with a twenty-minute drive…read more It is a simple spot, with very kind service. The four of us enjoyed our food and we all had leftovers to take home. The General Tso's was very good, it had great flavor - the spice wasn't over powering the dish. My friend had the chicken and mixed vegetables and really enjoy it as well! Didn't get to snap any pictures this time because we were ready to enjoy our food. Can't wait to come back & do recommend!

Each dining area features different Chinese-style decorative patterns on the tables, creating a unique atmosphere. The environment is very clean and well maintained. The salad bar, fruits, and desserts offer a great variety, and everything is fresh, high quality, and delicious. The ice cream is also excellent. Sushi and hot dishes can be customized, ( good choice for vegan or vegetarian )

I came to Grace Buffet hungry and left feeling like I had just survived a reality TV challenge…read more The highlight of the meal was when a fly literally flew out of my sushi. Not landed on it. Not near it. OUT OF IT. At that point I wasn't sure if I was eating at a buffet or witnessing a wildlife documentary. The shrimp smelled like it had been shipped here on the Mayflower. One sniff and my nose filed a formal complaint. I considered calling the health department just so someone else could smell what I smelled and confirm I wasn't hallucinating. To make things even better, when it was time to pay, the staff hovered over me while I signed the receipt like they were proctors at the SAT exam. Nothing says "great dining experience" like feeling pressured into tipping after playing Russian roulette with the seafood. The food looked exhausted, the shrimp smelled like low tide, a fly emerged from my sushi like it was paying rent there, and the only thing fresher than the food was the pressure to leave a tip. One star because the fly at least seemed happy with the meal.

From one manager to the next, this place did not survive. The wait staff is as friendly as ever,…read morebut the food is deplorable. The sweet and sour sauce was NEITHER, which...I mean it's just red glop at that point. The rice may as well have been fried rice for how dry it was. The bbq chicken sticks were just dry, red colored chicken that maybe someone sat next to a hoisin sauce jar, none of it made it on the chicken, though. Tasteless. And to top it off, we both have loose stomachs the day after. So...wow, 40 bucks then, huh? And why was it hotter than blazes in there?! Too cheap for basic AC? I mean even with regulation HVAC that should have at least made it so it wasn't as humid as a July day in early April. There is a 0% chance that kitchen is following the rules. I'm all for second chances but there is a consistently poor level of sanitation and food quality at this place, while prices keep going up. And while I can forgive bland, tasteless food, getting me sick? Now that requires an answer. It's time for a call to the health inspector.

Gourmet Buffet for some reason gets a lot of negative reviews, but I can honestly say I've never…read morehad a bad experience here. It's located in the Buckhorn Plaza between Walmart and Lowe's. They have a significant amount of seating for even a buffet, but takeout is also available. Stations include western food, a salad bar, Chinese food items, fried items, and two desert areas. The center station has Sushi and it's acceptable, but it's not a Sushi bar being freshly made like many buffets now offer. If dining here for dinner, they will often have a table setup for various seafood items. At least during lunch, I have not seen the hibachi area used in some time. Items that stand out include the Lo mein, which is better than at a lot of buffets I've dined at, and the Chicken and Broccoli is also quite good. Desert station has both fresh and canned fruits, puddings, cookies, and serve ice-cream. Beverages are Pepsi products. Overall, for the selection and price, Gourmet Buffet is a great option that I feel is underappreciated in our area.

I have eaten here a few times. Last time was a few nights ago, we arrived by 5pm on a week night…read more It's self service except the waitress who brings your beverage and utensils. She did not seem all that happy with her occupation but I suppose people go there for the food not the service. There was plenty of variety on the buffet. Most of it seemed pretty fresh though you could see a few aged pieces of broccoli here and there. I sampled many items and although everything had a good flavor many dishes seem like they may be hard to distinguish from one another if you were blindfolded. The salmon was the standout for me which is sort of funny (Cajun salmon being the best item in a Chinese restaurant). All in all it's not bad for Schuylkill county and I would probably return. My biggest complaint is that everything is so greasy. I ate mainly vegetables yet my tummy felt heavy for almost 24 hours after.

Cross posted my review from Google:…read more Having been here in the past with my wife, I was shocked and disgusted to hear that when my wife and her mother returned, they were treated extremely poorly. The fact that this did not occur with me there communicates very clearly one thing: the staff had an issue with their skin color. If it takes having a white person like myself for the staff to treat you nicely and not with suspicion, then that is an enormous issue. Having seen other reviews of this place as well, it paints a very clear picture that the staff are extremely intolerant. Such a shame, as the food itself was great. But I refuse to give my business to a place that so openly disrespected my wife and mother-in law.
