    Pearl River Roll -- delicious!
    Samantha S.

This used to be the go-to sushi place for anyone in a fifteen-mile radius of Lewisburg (including for college students like myself) but it's slowly being replaced by other businesses with better deals and better service. Before I go to the bad, I'll start with the good. Their Pearl River Roll is terrific. It's so yummy with just the perfect amount of sweetness. It's a true mouthful, and probably not ideal for first dates because of that, but it's well worth the try. Their lo mein is delicious. I personally always go with the vegetable lo mein though, as I don't think their meat options for it are any good. Their House Salad is also tasty, though the ginger dressing can be a bit watery. The bad thing about this place is their service is fairly poor. It can be a little difficult to communicate effectively with servers and there's also an older gentleman who works as a busboy on staff that actually talks down about the restaurant to you while you eat your meal. He'll come to your table and chat for fairly long periods of time sometimes; it's very strange. And as for seating, it can get quite drafty by the door and there seems to be no set host or hostess; you sort of just motion to someone in the back and seat yourself. So anyway, good food but the rest of the experience leaves something to be desired.

Pretty good sushi for being almost smack in the middle of PA. The space itself looks small from the outside but they have a larger room in the back for bigger parties, which is where we ended up sitting with our group of 10+. As Japanese fair goes, I'd give this place a thumbs up! I got nigiri which was reasonably priced as well as the steamed dumplings which were just good, nothing to rave about. The bento boxes my friends got looked like a great value, and if I had been hungrier, I probably would have tried one of their specialty sushi rolls (my buddy gets the rock and roll every time and it looked very good!). If you come to Sushihanna, expect good food with great service. I'd visit again if I ever find myself in Lewisburg again! And I'll definitely be getting the rock n roll!

Good option for your standard Japanese fare. Definitely not hopping out of my chair to get there again, but their bento box provide a great option for those as indecisive as me. Big plus to this place is the BYOB aspect--a factor not too far fetched from other restaurants on Market Street. The majority of the food was fresh and hot, the sushi as lackluster as a california roll can be. The Veggie Teriyaki corner left a lot to be desired, but the delicious sauce made up for the lukewarm saggy veggies. Clean tables and subpar service. It was a tad awkward when the waitress came with the check when we weren't even done with our dinner. But hey, it's a local joint, so I'll be back!

Great sushi! I've been twice. The first time I ordered salmon sashimi and smoked salmon sashimi, and both were excellent. My friend ordered the dumplings and said they were great. The second time I ordered salmon sashimi and the crab sashimi and again it was all great. That time, one of my friends ordered a sushi roll that she loved and the other ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box (which was the largest bento box I've ever seen. She ate a ton and it looked like she didn't even make a dent) and everyone was very happy with their meals. They always give a good amount of wasabi and ginger (they have great ginger!) and a cool cucumber appetizer for free, even at lunch. I would definitely come back again!

Nora got accepted to Bucknell, and we came to buy a shirt. On our way to the car we were hungry and stopped for a super. This is my overall review: 1. Clean ... 4 out of 5 2. Service ....5 out of 5 3. Food ....out of 5 Why? The avocado of the roll was not fresh and was color dark. The lo mein was a bunch of pasta with soy sauce. Chirasi was really delicious ...no complaints The bento box had not so fresh fish.

Coming from California, this place is the last place I would go to eat Japanese food. It's run by Chinese people..... The sushi is the kind you would find at the 7-11 cold bin and the flavors are confused. This is not a legit Japanese sushi house and if you're coming in from out of town or outside of PA don't waste your time or money, not worth it!

Came with friends. First time here. Many more items on menu than expected. Something for those who like raw and those who do not, as well as combinations. Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, steamed dumplings, some salads and soups. Many sushi items available as sashimi. Also grilled Teriyaki dinners. Also, several lunch plates designed for a quick delicious lunch. Also some Lo Mein and Fried Rice items. I had a sushi sashimi combination and it is quite good. The taste is not as good as in LA or New York, but there is no seaport near Lewisburg, so naturally it would not be because of time for delivery. I was told that they source from New York City. Prices very reasonable for quantity of food. Staff is friendly. Service wait was tolerable, about 20 minutes for all four of us. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was very busy, mostly full as long as we were there. Capacity I believe is 60 to 70 people. One drawback is that the acoustics are not good and it is pretty loud, not loud enough that you cannot hear others at your table, but not to far below that. We were only four and it was very busy

OK, let's start with the food ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL…read moreYou will not be disappointed Now the bad part Their customer a lot to be desired. You walk in, the lady behind the counter, tells you to pick a menu off the counter and sit wherever you want and when you are done, figuring out what you want come back up to the counter order. When you do that, she tells you to pick your silverware up from the counter. You then have to pay right away and leave a tip. A tip is for good service. She has done absolutely nothing for you other than punch your order into the flatscreen. Absolutely no difference than McDonald's. Now, how am I supposed to leave a tip for Service when I don't even know how good the service is going to be because I haven't even gotten any service yet? What is the waiter supposed to do? Bring you your menu? No, you get your own. Come to your table to take your order? No, you go back up to the counter. Get your silverware for you? No you also get that for the counter. Also, if you have leftovers and dish? Guess what? You go back up and get that from the counter as well. It's pretty much self . The only thing she does is actually bring you the food from the kitchen. She doesn't ask you if you want anything else. She doesn't ask you how things are. She doesn't ask you if you want dessert. You're on your own. We were there on a weekday after lunch when there was only one other table in the whole restaurant. So it's not like she was busy. As I stated above, their food is absolutely phenomenal. But they really need to work on their customer service. Maybe you should pay afterwards, so then you can leave a tip. Maybe she should also bring things for you. Would I go again? Yes. The food is worth it. Just know what you're in for before you walk in the place. I absolutely hate the feeling of getting " shaken down" for a tip before I've even gotten any . Service. Come on guys, this is to owners, you can do better than this

I was skeptical at first but we were pleasantly surprised!…read morePork belly was delicious! Tonkatsu ramen broth was rish and flavorful! Generous amount of protein. No skimping on seasonings that seem trivial but are actually important, like scallions. My only complaint is that their bubble teas only come with popping boba, not regular boba. Service was good as well. Located in downtown with a 5 min walk to the river bank, which we needed due to being stuffed!
