Left my review saying pours are eay too small. No mention of how many wines, but since you did only have 3, a full one ounce pour would have been in order. The photo is said to demonstrate a 1 ounce pour, and a smaller pour 1/2 ounce pour. It's BRIGHT BLUE, CLEARLY not your actual wine ... it's a visual demonstration.

An amazing experience . The storytelling about the wines, naming of the wines and the evolution of the winery was so special. That the wines are to die for. If you are in Paso , stop by meet the wine makers, pet the dog and be ready to learn about the wine and the great owners. We hope you be back soon and will enjoy it wi e when it arrives at home!!!

The service was best you could want. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Tell them your likes and preferences and what you don't want. They will appreciate you and honor your choices. It was fun, inexpensive and comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

I stopped in to share a bottle of bright, festive Champagne with a friend and immediately understood why this place has such a loyal following. The staff has that rare ability to make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Genuine smiles, easy conversation, and hospitality that never feels rehearsed. The interior is a designer's dream--warm, layered, a little smoky, and filled with interesting textures that invite you to slow down and look around. Truth be told, I originally wandered in as a location scout for Alchemyic Artisan, but I happily stayed for the bubbles and the ambiance. And if the moon happens to be in the right mood, you may have the pleasure of meeting Melane'... an intuitive with an infectious spirit who occasionally appears to be quietly crocheting while waiting for the next spiritual download to arrive. It's one of those places I genuinely enjoy coming back to. I especially want to recognize Anthony, who has consistently provided exceptional customer service every time I've visited. Whether it's busy or slow, whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, he treats everyone with the same level of warmth, professionalism, and hospitality. Employees like Anthony are a big part of what keeps customers coming back. Jenny and Abby have also always been friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to interact with. Unfortunately, my experience has not been as consistent with everyone. My first experience with Sean was excellent, but on later visits I noticed a significant difference in his customer service when he wasn't directly serving me. The friendliness and attentiveness I experienced initially seemed to be missing, which left me feeling unwelcome. The reason I'm sharing this feedback is because consistency matters. Great hospitality should be extended to all guests, regardless of who is serving them. Serial Wine Room has so much going for it, and with more consistent customer service across the team, it would make the experience even better. I share this as constructive feedback because I truly enjoy supporting local businesses and want to continue recommending Serial Wine Room to others.

The staff is also incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The patio is a beautiful spot to taste, and if you're there later in the day, the sunset views are hard to beat. Definitely do the free cave tour while you're there. It's one of the coolest winery tours I've been on. The caves are a massive labyrinth carved into the hillside and naturally stay around 55 degrees year round, which is where they age a lot of their wine before bottling. Even if you've been to a lot of wineries, this is something a little different. At the time I'm writing this, tastings are still complimentary, which is almost unheard of these days. If you go, do them a favor and leave with a bottle or two. That's how places like this are able to keep offering experiences like this, and honestly, you'll probably want to take some wine home anyway.

What we didn't expect was to be completely blown away. The facility is on the smaller side without a lot of frills, but honestly that's part of the charm. The staff are warm and genuine, and you can feel their pride in both the winery and the wines they produce. The focus here is on GSM blends and other Rhône varietals, along with Bordeaux blends and varietals -- big, bold, and fruit-forward, but balanced enough to keep things interesting glass after glass. We had such a great experience that we joined the wine club before we left. We don't live locally, but the Ecluse Enthusiast membership is absolutely worth it -- especially with only a 6-bottle annual commitment. It's given us a great reason to make Paso an annual trip, and Ecluse is always one of our must-stop favorites. Since joining, the winery has gone through some exciting changes. They've built out a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyard, and they were acquired by Thibido Winery. We were a little nervous about what that might mean for the brand we loved, but they've stayed true to keeping both labels separate and distinct -- and we've only benefited from it, since we now get to taste wines from both when we come for our annual pickup. We can't wait to spend more time on that terrace during our next visit. If you're putting together a Paso Robles wine itinerary, Ecluse deserves a spot on it.

After looking at their website and reading that they specialize in French style reds and offer a barrel sample with all of their tastings, this place quickly jumped to the top of our list. We didn't have a reservation, and it was getting close to their closing time, so we called ahead and asked if they had room for us, and we were told to come on up! We were helped by Sandy, Michael, and Steve (who is the owner). Just in our first three pours, we were helped by and talked to each one of them. They were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the wine, and very fun to chat with. The vibe here is super casual and everyone feels like family. We really liked all of the wines and getting to hang out in the barrel room, plus the hospitality was great, so joining the club was a no-brainer. We ended up taking home our shipment and two other bottles that we had tasted that weren't included in the shipment. Excited to come back here over the years and grow our collection and start aging our Ecluse wines!
