Dr. Shah and the front desk have great customer service. I was serviced in a timely manner. This was my first time going to this office. Everything was great. He actually said my current prescription is stronger than it needs to be. He lowered my prescription and the glasses arrived earlier than expected. I would like to sincerely endorse my five-star optometrist: Bob Frohn. I don't recall exactly how we met (after all, it was over 40 years ago) but I have been his patient ever since. He is thoroughly knowledgeable and professional and has the latest state-of-art equipment. The office staff and environment are very pleasant and there is a multitude of glasses/frames to choose from. After occasional shopping around I also found out that his prices are more than competitive. Parking is easy. Finally, his prescription diagnoses have been more accurate than my ophthalmologist's. read more

I found this place through Groupon read the reviews and fell in love with the deal and staff even though I still hadn't met any of them. My family and I were doing a christmas gift exchange of $50 and so I thought putting this groupon on my list would be a great idea, perfect I would say, am a single mom, going to college and completely broke. I was so excited to see i got the groupon as a christmas gift. I called and made my appointment and the staff was super nice, I talked to Susan she gave me a quick appointment. When I got to my appointment great staff and Dr. Shah my respects he is such a great Dr. Explained everything well. this guy dr. shah was told by me that I have no vision insurance, being the way that he obviously is, he charged me 664 dollars for a pair of glasses! The frames were quoted by him to be 140 and then by susan his receptionist as 170 just a few minutes later, then I had problems with them giving me a cheap Walmart case instead the supposedly DESIGNED in Italy, not made in Italy frames, for 3 days, when they forgot to give it to me and I paid cash for the whole thing 664 dollars for a cheap service , cheap cases , cheap as can be I mean, I don't know what he does with the real cases, go to lens crafters or Costco, which he makes fun of as being cheap in their material they use, it will cost you the same or less and you have better service and better selection. This guy is a rip off artist. He even suggested I have an option to get eye transplants!!!! read more

The reason I came here was due to the fact that I'm blind as a bat and I could tell my eyes were indeed becoming blinder! I've been wearing glasses for the past 15 years. I've gone through a dozen of optometrists and none compare to Dr. Shah and his team and I'll tell you why. First off, there is literally no wait time and I was able to get seen right away. Secondly, I actually got a consultation and got to discussed my eye sight with Dr. Shah. I was shown my eye health and told ways to improve as well as why my eye sight was worsening. He switched my solution to something a little more fitting to my needs and threw in some wetting drops for the dryness and lack of oxygen I was having due to decade old disposable lenses. Thirdly, he was able to provide a thorough contact fitting since I wanted to try colored contacts. Needless to say I was able to try on a few different pairs and had the staff help me choose some that fit me the best. On top of all that, the pricing for my new glasses and contact lenses were really reasonable. I am glad that I found the place to go to considering I've looked everywhere for a permanent optometrist. Things came up super last minute and it was really important that I been seen the same day. They close at 5:30 I called at 4:30 explained my situation and the receptionist told me to come right in. I had my 2 boys with me, Dr's visit and exams aren't always the easiest with your kids around, the staff was great and extremely patient. She didn't mind answering any questions they had about what she was doing and made it seem really cool (now they won't be so scared when it comes time for their exam) I literally had no wait time. I was barely seated when Dr. Shah came in. He was very professional. He completed my exam, gave me great information and suggestions about maintaining not only good eye sight but over all good health to avoid any eye problems in the future. He made sure I had no further questions and took the time to assist me himself in finding a frame I would be happy with. I'm so happy with their service I've already scheduled exams for my children. Coming here is like going to visit family. I have been coming to this optometrist for years and have always felt the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. If you ever have the chance to meet Dr. Frohn he is the nicest and sweetest man! For years, every time I would go in for my check up I'd politely ask him "when are you retiring, Dr. Frohn?" Not that I wanted him to leave but he was such a nice man that I wanted him to enjoy retirement! Well, I think his hesitation was that he truly cared for his patients. Lucky for his patients as he cut down his time he has brought on an equally great partner. Dr. Shah is thorough and will answer all your questions. He also equally knows the fashion when it comes to the latest specs! I have been coming to this office for as long as I can remember. The staff knows me and always makes me feel like part of the family every time I come in, they even know my voice on the phone when I haven't talked to them for months! I just recently lost my eye insurance but decided to stay with this office because they are always on the ball and have always taken care of me in the past. My glasses and/or contacts are always ready in a timely manner. The best part about this office is Dr. Frohn, he has worked with me and my eyes for a very long time and he always shows the upmost personal care for them. I have real bad allergies so for awhile we went through different contact lenses until we finally found ones that worked for me. Dr. Frohn even gave me trail lenses at no cost before I bought them to see if they were a good fit! Now that's service and care right there! Like I said, I've been coming to this office for quite sometime now, at least ten years, and I won't be switching anytime soon. The staff and the Doctors make me feel really comfortable and actually show genuine interest in my eye health as well as my life in general. This office deserves nothing less than five stars! I am so happy I switched my optometrist. The staff is awesome Nelly and Carlos are so patient and knowledgeable and super friendly. Great staff really does make a difference. Dr. Shah is THE best! He takes his time, asks a lot of questions to get the full picture and is extremely receptive to all feedback. He has a great personality and knows his stuff!! Without any of my patient history he told me facts about my eye health that only I knew, my jaw dropped in amazement. I'm truly impressed with this office. My husband came here first then after hearing him rave I brought my daughter and during her visit is when I made my final decision to come here myself. I also referred my sisters. I've been less than diligent in the past when it came to researching eye doctors. Which admittedly wasn't smart. I thought they all were the same. You don't want to mess around when it comes to your eyes. Obviously. Now that I've been going to Dr. Shah in recent history, I have to say, I really wasted a lot of time and money with past optometrists. I discovered him based on a friend's suggestion, and I feel indebted to this friend for putting me in touch with such a great optometrist. To say Dr. Shah is knowledgeable is an understatement. He's obviously extremely well trained and competent. But what stands out about him most is his demeanor. He does not do what so many doctors do - induce anxiety. He is reassuring, but with no drama. He's confident, as you want your doctor to be, but he doesn't pontificate about things that make no sense. He is thorough, but concise. There is little to no wait time here, and, in addition to myself, I've seen what appears to be a steady flow of happy and satisfied patients come through this place - all being treated with respect, friendliness, and in an efficient manner, so they're on their way quickly. I suspect that even if I was Dr. Shah's very own family member or the President of the United States, he would treat me with the same importance across the board. He's an outstanding doctor. I don't actually work/live that near here, but it's truly well worth the commute to receive excellent vision care. Brought a groupon deal of $49 for a value of $150 toward glasses. This is by far the most pleasant eye doctor visit. The office was easy to find as it is on a corner and they have great parking available behind the office. As soon as I came in the front desk ladies were very welcoming & professional taking care of my new patient paper work right away. I had two different tests done before I saw the doctor with two different machines, which they disinfected in front of me (making me feel better as I now see it is clean). And then Dr. Shah saw me right away and was friendly, down to earth and very professional, taking his time examining my eyes. He explained everything step by step and educated me on my new prescription. I really left this office feeling educated about the condition of my eyes.
