They run pretty efficiently (from our family visits) and for my annual eye exam, I was done in about 30 mins. Dilation can still be done but with my busy schedule, I opt for the Optomap imaging and pay a bit more (~$25) as getting dilated & dealing with it all day is no longer doable. We needed to get some prescription sports sunglasses for the runner in the family. They carried a few of the Prescription Oakley of interest so it was good to go in and physically try them on (unlike online). To be clear, they were not cheap, but we reviewed all the options (tint color, reflection, etc...) and I have to admit, they look pretty sweet!!

Last year, changes were made with insurance to what medical necessity contacts I could wear, so I had to try new ones which were a bit painful. Luckily though after a few weeks of trying the new dailys, I was able to swap them out for what I had been wearing after making a call and paying a small difference. A couple weeks ago I noticed we hadn't set up my annual visit - so I called and was able to make a next-day appointment. Again, more changes to my vision insurance but they've been able to give me more options to try before I set on one style for the year. I got a call asking how my contact samples have been going.
