I have a classic Benz grey-market car (German spec) and no one could get it to run right. After years of frustration, someone recommended Dr. Auto Tech and he figured it out and got my 500sec running like it's supposed to! I would highly recommend anyone with Mercedes, BMW or Range Rover trust them to take the best care of your car and do it right. Honest and straightforward auto shops aren't easy to find, but Dr. Vasken has an awesome shop here in the South Bay.

Man, there aren't too many mechanics out there as talented and detailed as Dr. Vasken. I picked up a broken down 2002 BMW 540 with an oil leak that had been sitting in a driveway for 3 years and immediately took it to an auto shop and a detailer. Of course there were still problems, and the detailer didn't clean it up as well as I wanted (I'm pretty OCD) so I turned to Dr. Auto Tech and couldn't have made a better decision. Immediately I could tell he was the real deal because of how meticulously he looked at every part of my car. Dr. Vasken identified quite literally EVERY problem that other mechanics identified and even more, and he also made sure to only exchange parts and do work on parts of the car that HAD to be done. He also helped me swap out and sell the ugly after-market rims the car came with and even ordered the BMW hubcaps for the OEMs I bought, AND he did a great job of cleaning out all the gunk and trash that the detailer missed. The cherry-on-top was how openly Dr. Vasken communicated. He made sure to give me regular update calls whenever he discovered new potential issues and was very open to discussing the pricing. I went out of my way to bring the car from DTLA down to his shop in Hermosa Beach, and needless to say it has served me well -- I drove back to San Francisco from LA without a hitch. NOTE: Dr. Vasken *actually* looks after the cars he works on so I would recommend only bringing in your vehicle if it's one you truly cared for -- he charges $150/hour for labor, which frankly might still be too low considering his wealth of experience.

Beautiful view with a breeze while you wait for your service to be finished.

Fair enough. I stood there patiently at the front desk for about five minutes, fully visible, and got absolutely no acknowledgment. No glance, no gesture, no wave. Nada. With the clock ticking and closing time creeping, I went back to my car to restart my search; stressed and sitting there with a sagging tire. Then I saw Eric and his coworker out front. They looked friendly, available, and most importantly, present. I walked over, Eric came to take a look, quickly assessed the situation, had me pull the car up, and got straight to work. He handled it quickly, efficiently, and right before closing time. I didn't have cash on me, but this review is the least I could do after he quite literally did the heavy lifting. If it weren't for Eric, this would have been a very different review. Funny how often the people furthest from the front desk are the ones actually carrying the business. Some people hold the title. Some people do the tire lifting. Eric is clearly the latter. So yes, 5 stars for Eric. In this little roadside drama, he was the fix, while others felt more like the nail in the tire, expecting the other three wheels to do all the work. Thank you, Eric, for the hospitality, the efficiency, and for working right up against the clock.

That's happened to me three times now for one reason or another and these guys have always come through in the clutch! Joey (Manager) was particularly awesome in handling this scenario, he finished the tires quickly but even more importantly I had to come back in b/c I was immediately getting TPM malfunction error when I picked the car up -- Joey checked it quickly, identified it was a damaged sensor, and fixed at no charge (when he could have said it was something else / my fault and charged me for it)... They were HONEST with what had happened and quickly replaced with zero hassle, really a stand up place... and I've seen similar good signs over the years from multiple employees here. Highly recommend these guys, including for more expensive vehicles like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc.

And as I was exiting I heard a BAM! I looked at my tire sensors and one of my tires went from 36 PSI.... to 30 PSI.... to 16 PSI... to 8 PSI... flat tire for the lose! Boo! Never taking that exit again! Lol. (And sorry in advance... I forgot everyone's name. My bad!!) So the next day, I hit up America's Tire. They took a look at my tire and determined that it could not be patched up. They didn't have my tire in stock, but they could order it from their warehouse in Arizona and it would be at the store in a couple days. So I agreed to do that. They did tell me that they would call me when my tire arrived at the shop, but i never received a call. So around 2pm I ended up calling in and was notified that my tire had arrived. The gentleman helping me made an appointment for me and told me I can bring my car in at 4PM. That definitely saved me a lot of time. Because when I showed up, I checked in, they took my keys, and I feel like within 10 minutes my car had a brand new tire. They even put my spare tire back in the trunk and locked it up properly. Price: I'll pay the moola for a quality tire. Thank you America's Tire! I only had to drive on the donut for a couple days. Will I be back? Yup!

Not only were all four of my tires in rough shape, but I was also dealing with a serious axle issue. Most places would've either overcharged, taken forever, or flat-out turned me away. Not these guys. The team at Globe Tire handled everything flawlessly. They fixed all four tires, repaired the axle (which is no small task on a Land Rover), and went the extra mile by using balancing beads to ensure everything was riding smooth and properly balanced. They also dialed in the alignment perfectly--my car honestly drives better now than it has in years. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, honest, and easy to talk to. They kept me in the loop the entire time with clear communication, no surprises, and zero pressure. It's rare to find a shop that combines this level of technical skill with such genuine customer care. If you're looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and all-around solid tire shop, Globe Tire is the place to go. I won't be taking my car anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Bryce, the Service Manager, was outstanding. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. It's easy to see why this location is always so busy--it's exceptionally well run. What really stood out was the culture. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about the customers, and the experience felt more like having family take care of your car than visiting an auto repair shop. That kind of customer service is rare these days. Bryce and the entire team have earned my business going forward. I'll be switching to this location for all of my future service needs, even though there are other Firestone stores closer to me. Keep up the outstanding work. Pittstop replaced the tire within 30 minutes of me dropping off my car but forgot that I had requested a tire rotation. Upon reminding them that I ordered a tire rotation, they completed that within an hour. As part of their tire rotation service, they filled the air of each tire. Within 30 minutes of driving away, my car detected that the psi (air pressure) for one of my tires was low and decreasing incrementally. I parked my car to attend an event for an hour and assumed that the psi reading was just a system error that would reset once I restarted my car. Upon restarting my car, the psi was lower and at a dangerous level (my car screen had a warning message advising me to park my car). I called Pittstop letting them know about this problem, that I could hear air leaking from one of the tires, and that I'm on my way back to the shop. In the 15-mile ride back to Pittstop, I had to stop at 2 gas stations to fill air in the tire for fear that it would fully deflate as I was driving the road. It was extremely dangerous and unnecessarily stressful. Upon arriving, they inspected the tire and realized that the pin for the tire was broken. I asked one of their mechanics how it was broken and they just said, "it just happens.... who knows?" They didn't accept any responsibility for failing to hear that air was leaking from that tire (which was obvious as soon as you removed the plastic cap) or checking whether the pin was broken or not. These are simple post-repair diagnostics a mechanic should do to protect the safety of their customers. I am extremely disappointed in my experience here -- particularly given how dangerous the situation could have been if I did not have a car that had technology to warn me when air pressure is dangerously low.
