Did a great enough job on collision damage that I took a second car for a bumper repaint. Really good and honest pricing. Paint color and orange peel texture match is amazing, there's no difference to factory that I could tell. Both cars had pearl or metallic paint. The only dings are for missing some small things each time, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back and just pay a bit more attention or communicate needs better. First car they didn't notice clips on radiator grille were broken in collision, but not worth having to undo everything just to correct it, so just left it. Second car they didn't repaint the entire bumper like quoted, but after seeing the mistake they owned up to it and redid it properly. Both times the polishing of clear coat could have been better. Second car they actually touched up some unrelated dings that I said they could ignore, so that was a really pleasant surprise! read more

Brought my car in here after a collision. About 3 months and nothing happened. Steve, the owner and guy in charge of overseeing my car's repairs, claimed that it was hard to find the part I needed (a car door). At one point, he told me he found the part and gave me a timeframe of when my car would be ready. I called during the timeframe given to me and he said he didn't get the part. His communication was poor and lacking throughout the experience and he was rude over the phone. I ended up switching to a different bodyshop and they found the part (brand new, too) and repaired it within about 10 days. If you want fast, quality service, don't go here. read more

Having had a great repair of my little Focus SVT some years ago, form a rear end collision, I once again needed a good body shop. The first place I thought of was Avenue Auto Body. I had unfortunately myself rear end a car, after they suddenly stopped for no apparent reason on a freeway off ramp. The results on my car this time, were even better than before (on the SVT). The replacement and repaired parts fit and the paint are exceptional, with the colour match being so good, you'd not be able to see that any part was new paint. It's exceptional. Steve and Brian, were my main contacts, with each being wonderful to work with. Brian, specifically, was ever communicative prior to the car being scheduled for repair. In fact he called me to offer me one of their cancellations, allowing me to save a few weeks of wait. From there on, he called regularly to give me updates, to the day I picked my baby up. I had to fight for a good taillight on my vehicle. They tried to replace my taillight with a used one that was scuffed, discolored, and chipped. I went to them because they are "guaranteed for life" with my insurance company. More like, low-balling everyone else with subpar parts to give the insurance company a reason to not pay their proper dues to you. Even when I went in for the new one after sending pointful messages to my agent, the guy looked at me and the light like he didn't see the problem. So... either they care more about the insurance companies, or they just don't see these details, and I'm not sure which is worse, but wow. Maybe be okay if I didn't actually like my car. read more

They did an AMAZING job fixing my rear bumper. I had been rear ended and needed some extra work done in addition to the damage from the accident. My car is my pride and joy, so I take very good care of it and I'm skeptical when it comes to people working on it. My paint is super hard to match due to the color and most of it is dull from a paint job I had done that was junk. Well, they matched it almost perfectly!!!! You can hardly tell the difference. Plus they had it done within 1 week. The employees are really nice and I can't say enough about how happy I am with the result. I will definitely go back for any body work I need in the future. First time I had a vehicle repaired at Avenue there was guy named Henry that did amazing work, he had excellent customer service skills and went above and beyond to make sure the customer was happy. I was so pleased with my experience I gave State Farm tremendous feedback and it seemed as though StateFarm upgraded Avenue Autobody on their suggestion list of service centers. Without getting into details, a month after driving my vehicle into the Avenue auto body facility, The work still has not been completed and there is new damage to the dashboard on the interior, the battery is dead and the vehicle won't start. The vehicle is older but it has been running for 294,000 miles as a work van with no problems for the last 10 years. I don't know why they couldn't look under the dashboard without damaging it and I have no idea what's going on with the engine but this vehicle has started for me consistently for 10 years and now suddenly it does not start. As far as the bodywork goes, I am taking it somewhere else to be worked on. Unfortunately getting a quote from these guys has been painfully slow, phone calls are never answered, messages are not answered and the girl working at the front desk seems to have no clue what's going on. I don't even want to find out how the work is these days because the customer service has gone down the tubes. I wouldn't recommend this body shop. They seem nice and confident when you first come in. However once they got my car they changed attitude. Bottom line is, nothing was done as they promised. They seemed too busy to remember what they wrote down when they first met you. Other people seemed to have good experiences here, but not me. 1. I got my rear bumper fixed. They tried twice to match the color, but it's still off. I appreciated their efforts but result isn't what I expected. 2. Estimated time was 2-3 days, they kept it for more than 7 business days. First time, they called me the day AFTER my car should've been ready. They said there was unexpected issue. Second time, they said color was too off and they wanna do it again. I would've gone to a different body shop or plan this job some other time if I knew it could take longer, and they weren't capable of matching colors. They do not seem to care how important due date is and how much rental car cost for their customers. I had to call and extend my rental car multiple times because of the extensions. 3. They said they'll take care of tiny scratches on the door but nothing was done about it. 4. They called the wrong rental car service so I had to take uber to my original rental car place. I have no idea how this happened when I told them I already got a rental with Hertz which is the closest location from their shop. 5. After getting my car back, AC has really bad ammonia smell. It's still there after 2 weeks.. Dealing with this place was a lot harder than I thought. I was looking for a professional body shop, this wasn't one of them. Hope my review helps. read more

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I brought my car to Avenue Auto Body, following a neighbor's recommendation, to repaint my front bumper and repair rust damage to my car's quarter panel. Henry, the shop's manager assured me my car would look like new again after his staff completed their repair work, but he cautioned me the rust damage was not covered under warranty. It took more than 4 weeks before my car was ready to be picked-up. During this period, Henry reassured me his workers needed more time to complete the repair work. At first, the car looked like new, but after only 6 weeks, the car's quarter panel was showing signs of rust again. I brought the car back to Avenue and showed Henry blistering of the quarter panel's metal, which he explained the shop was not responsible for correcting. I tried to appeal to him that I understood the rust damage was not covered under warranty, but that 6 weeks after receiving my car back was an unreasonable amount of time for the problem to resurface. Henry refused to offer any compensation for my patience and dissatisfaction. Taking a closer look at my car's bumper, I realized the car was not sanded down before painting, which resulted in surface cracks appearing under the clear coat finish. After spending more than $2,000 at Avenue Auto Body, I brought my car to another body shop, where the owner explained the previous body shop (Avenue Auto Body) should have removed the section of damaged metal and replaced it with new metal and should have sealed the area under the quarter panel to prevent moisture and rust from building up again. If I was asked to give Avenue Auto Body grade letters, they would receive a D for customer service and an F for workmanship. read more

I have been on a long vacation from yelping, but I had to come back to leave a little note on this hidden gem of the auto service industry right in my home town. Just like most of you poor things, I have been ripped off, cheated and disappointed by body shops everywhere over and over. So when I got a fender bender recently, I sighed and reluctantly started yelping for yet another body shop who most likely would rip me off yet another time on their yet another mediocre job. I was wrong. Boy, so wrong was I. We started our quote trek with the closest shop, which was Avenue. I met Brian there and he was right on the quote. When I asked him to include a thin scratch line on the paint overcoat which I probably got from a shopping cart, he goes, "Oh, I can fix that right now." And, Voilà, there it was! His quote was ready in 10 minutes and it was within the range I had hoped it would be in. We left for a few more quotes, but I already knew we had met our match. We were back at Avenue in 30 minutes and our car was in their hands. They promised to give me back the car in three days at the latest; I got a call it was ready the next afternoon. The job was perfect - our car was as good as new again. It even came back with a long-due cleaning, inside out! So this is our experience with Avenue. Unfortunately, My car was declared as a total loss, I couldn't get a chance to see how they work but I am pretty sure, if they would have gotten a chance to fix the car....they would have have been worked just fine.... Brian is the man there. He was really very helpful through out the whole insurance thing and everything....
