Even though they were very busy, they made time for me, diagnosed the issue quickly, and got my car back up and running in a day (the fix ended up being easier than I expected, which was a big relief). I was desperately looking for a competent shop to do some fairly comprehensive work on my Audi RS3. I even considered going out of state until I found EuroCode. I've had several poor experiences at shops local to me. After scouring the forums several members had a very good experience with Eurocode. So, I read all the reviews, did my homework, and decided to give it a go. Eurocode is about 55 miles from me so it was a bit of a trek. From my first contact with them, the experience has been next level. The patience with my 640 questions, constant communication, and updates during the work was impressive, to say the least. They touched everything on the car, motor, trans, suspension, electronics, linkage everything, and left me thoroughly impressed with the quality of work. After picking up the car, getting home, and looking things over, I remain thoroughly impressed. The team is incredibly detail-oriented, thoughtful, and professional. The car is a high-end car, (for me) I wanted high-end work done and that is exactly what I got. I did see some reviews that were less than stellar and if this is a concern to you as it was for me let me address those now. From my limited experience, Eurocode is not Jiffy Lube, if you're looking for a $29 oil change that is impossible on exotic European vehicles, the requirements for Audi and similar vehicles are very different from your average Honda Civic. They use premium synthetic oils, filters, replacement magnetic drain plugs/washers for every oil change, single-use stretch bolts, etc. There is nothing wrong with Honda's or cheap oil changes just trying to provide some perspective. While I am sure they have specials, if you're looking for the cheapest work in town perhaps try other options. If you're looking for somewhere to take your pride and joy and want to rest comfortably knowing they will treat your vehicle like you would, at pricing far better than dealer pricing Eurocode is the shop for you. They have gained a customer for life. Finally, let me add that I did not know anyone at Eurocode, they did not ask me to leave a review but they sure did earn one. The technicians at Eurocode are some of the most patient people I have ever met.  I brought 2002 Audi TT here because my Unitronics stage 1 flash was failing smog due to the new ECU modification laws in California.  I decided to reflash my ECU to APR to pass smog because the APR stage 1 tune is CARB legal.  Max spent hours on the phone with APR trying to reflash my ECU from Unitronics to APR (due to some misdirection from APR).  After they successfully reflashed the ECU, we ran into another problem with the APR reflash, which disallowed my Catalyst Monitor to be set;  I brought the car back to Eurocode today, and again, they spent many more hours on the car.  Ultimately, they ended up flashing my car back to stock in hopes that it would fix the monitors on my car.  Thank you for all your time and diligence that you all have put into my car!  I'm hoping this is my final hurdle to finally pass smog, but if not, I feel that I'll be in good hands with everyone at Eurocode. I have used Eurocode a few times...for an APR upgrade and for an oil change/35,000 mile service. The APR upgrade was an excellent experience...in and out in about 90 minutes with a very noticeable upgrade in performance. 5 Stars for this visit. The oil change/35,000 mile service did not go as expected but ultimately, no complaints. My tires, when looked at with the naked eye, looked fine. However, when looked at under magnification, there were signs of aging on the sidewalls. They recommended immediate replacement but my tire shop thinks they are good for at least one more tire rotation. I don't think either shop is wrong...its just a difference in perspective. read more

Would not recommend this place. I took my car here a few months back because I was having issues with my door not locking on my Car. They told me it was an issue with my door lock actuator (which was the issue). The employee gave me a price and said he had to order a new actuator. Gave him the ok and waited a whole week for the actuator to come in. Once it was there they began the work. In the middle of the day the employee called me and said that the technician underestimated how complicated the work is and had to double the labor cost. Labor alone was now $700 and door lock actuator cost $500. I took it some to another shop. And that shop charged me $625 labor included. And all the work was done in 3 hrs time. This place is taking peoples money. I have the documents to prove it. read more

My experience here was very good, as an avid car enthusiast and a technical person, I can spot good from bad shops easily. Max has an incredible amount of Audi specific knowledge and the techs seemed very experienced and capable. Their customer service was incredible and they really went above and beyond to try to solve my issue. The only downside is their shop rate is about $200 an hour which is as high as it gets (my factory trained Ferrari techs charge $150-$200) , and also diagnostic labor does not roll over into jobs which is unusual. That being said everything is expensive today and you have to pay for quality work, they are still a very busy shop with those rates. I would not hesitate to have this shop do anything from basic maintenance to an engine swap. read more

Found out I needed to replace the pcv valve on my A7 so I reached out to eurocode after my usual place wasn't available until at least 3 weeks. Spoke with Brian who gave me a quote over the phone and told me to bring the car in a few days. Once there he said needed to do their own diagnostic and it would be $160. Agreed and then was later told to confirm it was the pcv they needed to remove supercharger and would be $1100. Again I agreed since to get to pcv it has to be removed. After this there was some back and forth on pricing and the initial quote I had gotten and the quotes I had gotten from other shops. After all was said and done we settled on a price and the work was done. They are knowledgeable about what they do and you only need to pull in to their shop to see that there are Audi's everywhere & they are busy! They also like to do things right and the invoice I was given included all the parts that were replaced. Compared to one quote I had gotten, I only paid $367 more but that can be considered the cost of additional things like tubes and gaskets they replaced. Considering the cost to remove supercharger it makes sense to change a few things while in there and they look out for that. read more

So i've been to Eurocode twice now. 1st time to go stage 1 APR, and second time to go stage 2. Seemless transactions both times! The shop is a VW/Audi owners dream. There are always really cool highly modified cars outside and i've always bumped into other owners and just had fun chatting about everything and anything. Brian is the absolute man, my brother from another mother. The little interaction i've had with him he's made me feel like family. I wish they were closer but lucky for them they're not because i'd probably be by everyday just to hang out. Service has been impeccable both trips and i'm planning to go down again soon for my BBK upgrade. Anything Audi specific, Eurocode is where i'm taking my car from major maintenance to modifications. So I call and follow up and told the guy I need to speak with was at luck and was going to get a call back in 30 minutes.....day goes by with no call. So I call back the following day and placed on hold for 10 minutes and told once again I would get a call back in 10 minutes. Once again no call back. What a surprise. my review stems from 2 dealings with this company. first, I had my aftermarket exhaust installed here about 3.5 years ago. when they tell you they will charge you by the hour, make sure you check exactly when they begin and end work bc the guy running the shop tried to charge me from the time of my appmt. and when I arrived at the shop, NOT when the guys actually started the work. HUGE difference. bc there was a good 40 minutes from when I arrived to when they actually started work. when the manager or owner tried to charge me for 2.5 hours of labor, I corrected him and told him exactly when the guys starting working on my car and when they were finished. he checked back with the guys who actually worked on my car and adjusted the price. shady. second, fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I needed the OEM exhaust back on the car so I called them bc they are located very close to where I live and I thought I would give them another shot. spoke to the guy and he said he needed to pull up my info in their data base and speak to his supervisor to see if they could do the job for me. said I would get a call right back. yeah right. it's been 2 weeks and they never called back. I guess my money is no good here? LOL great customer service. I gave them 2 stars bc the actual guys that initially installed the exhaust did good work. read more

Pretty cool and down to earth guys! Process was quick and easy. It's one of the few ecu dealers around me so I came here to do my first ever ecu tune. Some context, i just bought my mk7 gti last week, and came from owning miatas. Products: Unitronic stage 1: decided on uni because i wanted the extra reliability peace of mind. Im not a power hungry person so im just sticking with stage one and didnt opt for the uniconnect. Out of the shop review, i suppose i felt the extra power a bit, but it wasnt a huge difference aside from some first gear wheel spin. On unitronics website, it states my mk7 GTI at 23x stock HP, and with the stage 1 - 297 HP. It definitely doesnt feel like 30% more power. Although ive heard it takes a couple of miles for it to "adapt". Pretty sure it's 210 hp stock, not sure wheere theyre basing their info on. Eurocode 25m rear sway: it took me like 2 hrs to put this on.. it takes me like 20 minutes to install on my miata... its been awhile though so if i had to do it again on the gti, would prob take like 30 minutes with hand tools. In the middle hole with stock end links (their recommendation on their manual) Performance review: street and onramp review, noticeably stiffer rear, quicker turn-in, and responsiveness. It really changes the car (depending on the individual, could be bad or good). Adjust your inputs to accommodate so you arent turning in too early. I need to take this to the canyons to really appreciate or hate it lol. Edit: did a quick spirited lap around the mexico highway, and the sway bars did a decent job, they actually could be a little stiffer. No oversteer or bad handling. It does bring out more of the subtleties in the stock suspension. Putting on a decent set of coilovers, or better shocks and slightly stiffer springs would be perfect for a street/track setup From what ive experienced so far, id probably be happy with the GTI in stock form. Do i regret it? Not at all! If i was tight on money, i personally wouldnt mod the mk7 as theyre pretty good out of the box. read more

*** Second visit to Eurocode to upgrade an Audi sedan. *** That makes two times now, so I'd say that I am indeed a fan. First time here I chipped an A3 to gain about a ~ 25% boost. I'd recommend this upgrade as a must to anyone with an A3. My driving experience went from pedestrian to quick and fun. Surprisingly the fuel efficiency even rose 2-3 mpg. Amazing. A3'08 Upgrade: Can turn program on/off from stalk switch ... 5 Today I took the S4 for an APR Stage 1 upgrade. S4 is well balanced, but its 0-60mph is underwhelming in stock setting. APR Stage 1 upgrade allegedly boosts performance ~ 30%. (I ain't got a dynamometer, but l'd say that claim is too high.) Chipping S4 definitely improved pick-up in 1st and 2nd gear, yet stage 1 does not make S4 a beast. It drives as it should. S4'14 Upgrade: Eurocode must turn program on/off in shop ... 3 *** Also added keyless window up/down feature. It's nice. *** read more

I'm giving 5 stars on customer service alone. Sadly, I did not get the gentlemans name but I'm sure he was the owner and VERY informative. I just wanted a good price and darker tint. He broke down the differences in tint, pricing, UV protection, and the importance of them. He gave me less expensive options with different materials that they didn't carry and actually another establishment to see if they offered it. Everyone that I came in contact with was very welcoming. I've been searching and price checking and their prices are comparable to other tint businesses. I would like to start off by saying, Eurocode is a great SHOP. They are located close to the freeway and have an excellent ability to fix and tune vehicles. The problem lies outside of their ability to fix vehicles. I have had good luck with other staff at their location, but the owner, Dave, is quite hard to deal with. He consistently gets into arguments with customers, telling them they are wrong. Between you and I, the customer is never wrong. On one occasion, my friend had his car flashed with APR software at Eurocode. He purchased the base APR software with the ability to turn it on/off. With that said, he consistently had horrible surging issues and the car was running poorly. He went back to Eurocode where one of the techs told him his ecu was flashed with a test pipe file. This means the program for a non-cat race exhaust, as well as the 93 octane program. They "removed" that program, yet my friend still had these issues. He went back once again, and was found to still have the test pipe file. After waiting an HOUR in the waiting room while Dave was on the phone (and then flashing a mk5 so the windows would go down), he walked out to us, we walked to my friends car, he took 5 minutes to reflash the car back to a stock 91 octane program. After that, the car was fine and he sent us on our way. I have dealt with Eurocode often and like I said, while they are capable of fixing cars well, and tuning cars well, they are the worst customer service I have experienced. To me, trusting a mechanic is a very sensitive operation. I do not trust Eurocode. Thats the bottom line. If you don't drive an S6, an M3, or a Mk5 R32, you probably won't be high on their list either. read more

I first started by emailing Eurocode to request for pricing. Chris, the manager, responded right away and also told me they would get back with pricing after I gave them some more details on my car year/make and VIN. Money was a little tight so I told Chris I would call back soon. He was super nice and polite, told me to let him know when I would ready, that he would hold on to the quote, to not worry! Which I did and we set a date and time on the phone that would work for both of us. He made sure to order the parts so we can do all the repair in one day. When I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted right away and told to wait in their lounge. Shortly after they started the work. I asked to look under my car while it was in the air so they can explain to me what they were doing, and they did. I had brought my laptop so I was able to work from their lounge. They have multiple outlet for power my laptop and phone and also a large screen TV and very comfy cough. I had a lot of repair to be done, so I was in their lounge for 5 hours. I knew before end that it would take a while, they had told me but I decided against going back home and I am glad I did. Got to work, took a short walk, took a nap and watched TV so it went by fast. Chris and his team were amazing, they explained what they did, had my parts ready, and made sure I was doing fine while waiting. I will go back again for sure. Got a APR stage 1 flash on my Audi A4 B6. CEL popped up and my car wasnt boosting properly after that. Being a new Audi owner I feel like it is their responsibility to inform their customers that a upgraded 710n and a vacuum line re-tightening and check up is recommended before flashing to a stage 1. Found out my DV broke and N75 vacuum line popped off. I returned the flash then had to replace the parts. If they would of marketed the product better then they would of had extra work and a happy customer. I could of bought a new DV and had the car checked. A simple suggestion of upgrading the DV and re-tightening the vacuum lines would of solved the issue before they installed the flash but he didnt suggest it until my car started having problems. A bunch of kids work here. Never taking my car here again. read more

After finding these guys on the vortex and yelp, I decided to stop by and check them out. Dave (the owner) was quite occupied from answering the phones to delegating the work to the mechanics (3 or 4 working on the cars). Granted that I was only there for a half hour, they seemed to be thorough on post-work checks for potential leaks, or other problems on the vehicles. Greg was very helpful and worked with a great attitude, answering any questions I may have had. He even performed a quick VAGCOM/VCD scan on my vehicle. VAG service at Eurocode can't be beat in LA area. These guys are the best, and they've been proving it for awhile. In the summer the parking lot looks like a car show. The shop flagship R8 is bananas - absolutely spectacular. I take my A4 B5 APRS3 here, and for 3 years I've been very happy with the service, staff, and prices. Pros: Staff is knowledgeable, job gets done right first time, appointment scheduling, waiting room, technical expertise, custom tuning, friendly, new expansion Cons: Jealousy, the new craft breweries are within walking distance (uhoh!) This is one of the go-to favorites for Audi and VW in the SoCal area. Check any forum or talk to a tuner and I'm sure they have heard of Eurocode. Plaques, magazine covers, and trophies in the waiting room. You can spend a half hour just checking out the cars in the lot. If the shop R8 is there, bring your drool bucket. The service from Eurocode has been excellent over the last 3 years. My A4 B5 goes in every year like clock work and comes out running as-new. Last time they killed a random squeak from the backend, coolant leak, and bad wheel bearing. That's kid stuff for these guys. Custom tuning, high end turbos, and upgraded ECUs are normally the name of their game. But that doesn't mean you can't get top notch maintenance services! Whether you need a simple ECU upgrade, or if the car is throwing codes and the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree...Eurocode can handle it. One of the reasons why I love them is the communication. You get an honest and open dialogue from the second they pick up the phone or start talking to you. Anything they find, anything they recommend, prices, labor hours - everything. It's all handled up front with no surprises. Its obvious they care about their work and for the customer it means you can actually trust them and talk with them openly. Working on a 1999, or a 2015, the customer wants the same thing...to hear the story up front and get it straight. I've never had an issue with Eurocode, the staff, or the quality of their work. They have recently expanded next door and added an in-house wrap/vinyl service. And no, this isn't regular vinyl...just put your eyes on that R8 and let them know what you think of the Porsche blue. To my eyes that car and that work looked stellar. Great color, and great job on the wrap. Honestly I would not have known it wasn't a pro custom paint job costing twice as much. Call ahead and schedule an appointment. I think anyone who's not giving these guys 4 or 5 stars probably needed something done in a hurry and ended up waiting around. There's a reason why that lot is full! Call ahead and save yourself the hassle. These guys will take care of you. You will not be disappointed, regardless of what you want to do.
