Lawn removal and installation of xeriscaping of front yard…read more Removal and installation was flawless but about 1/3 of the plants and several of the trees died within the first 9 C weeks. They said that the trees weren't dead but if they didn't come back in the spring they would replace them. Come spring they did replace them but then several more plants and a tree different tree died. The foreman claimed that it was my fault due to not watering. I explained to the foreman that I had not altered the watering schedule or time that the installers had setup. Upon contacting the owner I was informed that Greengo had done all that they were going to do to correct the problem. However the company would come back and replace the dead plants. Of course I would have to pay for materials and labor. Since I refused this offer I hope my review saves you from having to do business with GreenGo landscaping.

The second was installing a concrete deck around our pool. The third was putting in a new lawn and landscaping in our front yard. The quality of their work was consistently very high and they were extremely easy to work with. The team was punctual, professional, and truly seemed to care about doing a good job and pleasing their customers. I do a lot of comparative estimates for any project. Their pricing was very fair, never felt overpriced, and was well worth what we asked for. One thing we especially appreciated was their flexibility. Francisco's extensive experience and creative problem-solving skills showed in every project. They were always ready to adapt and find effective solutions, making any changes mid-process smooth and stress-free. Working with them felt like working with a group of good guys who wanted to see their customers happy. We have several more projects planned with them at this point because we entirely trusted their work and ethics. If you wanted landscaping professionals who combined skill, reliability, and dedication to quality, Francisco's Landscaping exceeded expectations.

The team completed the work incredibly quickly without ever sacrificing quality, and the end result turned out beautifully. Communication was one of the standout parts of working with Jared -- he was always easy to reach, responsive, and happy to talk through ideas. He even came by in the evenings to walk through plans with us whenever we had questions, which really showed how much he cares about his clients and their vision. He is professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy with the final result. I met with one landscape designer prior to meeting with Jared, I felt as though that designer wasn't understanding my vision. In addition the idea of paying a designer, then shopping contractor bids, dealing with both designer and contractor, seemed like a considerable contribution of time and energy. My wife and I both have demanding careers, we are short on both. Jared on the other hand is a one stop shop! I met with Jared and reviewed 2 different design concepts, then settled on one. I felt Jared really understood the basic idea of what we wanted, then he took the concept and ran with it. If you want to be more involved, Jared would welcome it. For us, we let him take the lead, and had to make a few simple decisions along the way. Super easy, super stress free. The end result was spectacular. It was incredible to see something I'd been thinking about for so many years finally come to life. We could not be happier, and I cannot recommend Diablo Lawnscape enough.

Kudos for Steve and the Gardelle Construction & Landscaping team for their excellent work updating…read moremy front yard landscaping. They planted a beautiful tiered garden of box hedge, azalea and more and added rock gardens around the established trees, creating depth and variety below the porch that coordinates well with the style and color of the house. They installed much-needed path lighting and added charming lighting in the trees with spot lighting from below--all on timers for maximum effect and convenience. They made some improvements to the back yard as well, creating a flagstone patio for our outdoor dining table, adding a flagstone path through our azalea/hydrangea garden for better access, and a flagstone pad--a nice level surface--at the water spigot. From planning to execution, working with Steve and his team was smooth and collaborative. They took what we had envisioned for the space and elevated it with their expert design. The finished product is fabulous. My front yard not only looks great--people stop and comment how lovely it is--it also has added to the property value and is worth the investment! The quality and expertise of Gardelle's work alone speaks for itself, but it doesn't stop there. Steve and the team were great to work with, finished the job on time, and left the work area spotless each day. Five stars for Gardelle. We highly recommend them! --Don and Judy Maderious

We next used Gardelle in 2004 when we bought a fixer upper. This job was a complete demo and re-do. Once again, Gardelle designed a beautiful front and back yard including new concrete decking around the pool, outdoor kitchen, pergola, brick porch, plants, trees, etc. And now in 2026 we had Gardelle back to do some updating to both our front and back yard. Through all three projects over the course of 30 years, Gardelle's word and work has been exceptional and beyond reproach. Gardelle's team is there when they say they will be there and do the work they say they are going to do. Every. Single. Time. Steve and Iliana in the office are extremely responsive and correct issues immediately, even going so far as to fix problems on their own dime, even if its the customers fault. And I should know because over the course of 30 years and 3 projects, I've made a few mistakes! Their quotes are not the cheapest nor are they the most expensive but in this case, even if they were the most expensive, I would still use them every single time simply because the company treats their customers right. It's a rarity in today's world to find a company that is true to their word and stands by their work. I cannot possibly recommend Gardelle Landscaping & Construction any more. The staff and Steve Gardelle are second to none.

We needed to replace our raised wooden deck and were looking for a replacement and adjacent…read morelandscaping that would address critical drainage issues. We met with Lund landscaper Taylor Hawkins to discuss options. He came back with a really great preliminary design that matched all our wants and needs. We suggested a small change and he finalized a really great design. Since we already had a stone terrace and wanted to optimize the budget, we chose to match our existing look and Taylor's design addressed all our needs: Most important to us, improved drainage and gravel instead of grass; a continuous paved patio where the raised deck once stood, giving us a more useable, flat surface all the way to the terrace steps, and finally, plantings that enhanced our existing landscape, an upgrade to the sprinkler system and bonuses like a seat wall to expand the use of the patio for guests. Lund even took existing pavers that were removed from the old build and used them to create a circular patio in an area that had been useless before. Lund's talented team were on time, every day, all day. We had one or two weather delays, but if it wasn't pouring, they were there working. If one part couldn't be done due to rain, they moved to something else they could do under shelter. It was like that with every part of the project. Taylor provided guidance, Raphael was an amazing craftsman who installed the pavers with the most amazingly accurate drainage (including additional drainage and water for our potted patio roses), new circular patio and retaining wall. Likewise, Martine built the most beautiful steps for us and finished up the seat wall, Manuel handled the dig out, drainage and gravel work, Angel ordered the plant material and marshalled the guys who planted everything (they were fantastic), and he and Rodrigo also handled the sprinkler system to all the existing plantings and left extra nodes available for future plants. If anyone was left out, please forgive, because the entire workforce were all professional, understanding, and always ready to assist and make a change if necessary. You can't do a project where you dig up your yard and not find the unexpected. Lund was very responsive and immediately addressed any issue, found a resolution, and it was done, usually within a day or two at most. We received everything we paid for, and more. We are currently enjoying the fruits of their labor! We would definitely use Lund Landscaping again and, in fact, we have already received a future quote for some changes we are contemplating on our fountain.
