I had some drainage work done at my house which trashed my entire irrigation system, so I needed to have it replaced, both in the front and back yard. The McKay crew did a bang up job of it. They came in on time and on budget. They had the whole system laid out and running within about two days. Then Sherman spent some time with me to make sure I knew how to operate the controllers. The sprinkler control panel did bot shut down the faulty sprinkler, so its likely a mechanical issue with the control valves in the backyard that failed open. I have no idea how to DIY this so I was lucky to find Ostwald. Yep, they are a 24/7 company and were able to comr out same day in a few hours. Darvin and his helper replaced my entire sprinkler control valve system, faulty sprinkler heads, and did some excavation to fix some leaky pipes. About 3 hours total - not a straightforward job since it also involved wiring and some backyard plumbing. I have an older house so they actually had to shutoff water to the house for a few hours. Not sure why the sprinkler system does not have a separate isolation valve. Maybe it does but its not obvious. Definitely recommend Ostwald Sprinkler Repair for quick turnarounds and responsive service, even on Sundays when most other sprinkler repair companies are closed.
