Amazing food truck! The service was great and the owner was very kind and generous host. Very delicious food, would recommend to anyone in the DFW area!

The food was great and the service was excellent. We both had the mixed shawarma plates. The salad was an unexpected surprise, killer taste. 10/10 will be back for sure!

After a month of drinking my way through Europe 25 years ago, and grabbing shwarma wraps after beers at different spots at least half the nights and early mornings, I was absolutely hooked on them. Unfortunately, on my return home, I was unsuccessful in finding anything as similar and as satisfying in north Texas. Until today! I would've preferred lamb but their chicken shwarma perfectly hit the spot and finally scratched a decades-old itch. Can't wait to try everything on their menu!

This food truck is literally a two minute walk from my apartment. I have been waiting to eat there for a while and I am glad I finally did it. I had the mixed Shawarma bowl with beef and lamb. It is served on a bed of rice with both the beef and the lamb on top with fresh pita on the top. The two side containers had pickled jalapeños and peppers, but the best part of the whole dish was the other side, which was a salad that was a mixture of corn, black olives, red onions, some sauce, and lettuce. It was amazing. All the ingredients were fresh, and I watched him prepare the dish in front of me. I was served with great joy and enthusiasm, and I look forward to making this a regular place moving forward.

Truly a 10/10 experience -- Downtown Shawarma is easily one of my new favorite spots! I can't say enough good things about the food AND the service. I called in my order (which I highly recommend doing), and the owner was so kind and accommodating. I asked to sub rice for salad on one of the plates, and he was super nice about it -- no hesitation at all. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. I ordered fries, two mix platters, and two shawarma plates, and every single thing I tried was amazing. * The fries were perfect -- crispy, hot, and seasoned just right. 10/10. * The mix platters completely blew me away -- seriously, 20/10. So much flavor, generous portions, and beautifully balanced. * The shawarma plates were also great -- juicy, tender meat, fresh sides, and flavorful sauces. I'd give them a solid 9.5/10. But the real star? The shawarma chicken. It was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and just melts in your mouth. Once I took my first bite, I couldn't stop -- the food was just that good. I honestly didn't get enough pictures because I was too busy eating! The customer service was amazing, too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and you can feel the good vibes when you walk in. They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your order. If you haven't been to Downtown Shawarma yet, GO. It's worth it. I'll absolutely be back, and I'll be bringing friends next time. 100% recommend!

I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time. But some bites have a way of humbling you. This one did. I ordered the street tacos with barbacoa. Corn tortillas layered with melted cheese, another tortilla laid gently on top, then crowned with rich, slow-cooked meat. Simple ingredients, intentional hands. The first bite landed heavy -- comforting, soulful, and loud in all the right ways. These tacos slapped harder than Babe Ruth sending one out of the park. And the real kicker? The smile on her face as she watched me take that first bite -- the kind that says, "I told you so," without needing to say a word. She knew she was right. The service matched the food -- warm, polite, unhurried. That small-town kind of kindness where you're treated like you belong, even if it's your first time through the door. No rush, no attitude, just genuine care. Some places feed you. Others stay with you. Taqueria Temo does both. I'll be back.

We started with the chips and salsa, then my wife ordered the Empalmadas de Chihuahua, which were absolutely delicious. I had the brisket tacos, and they were packed with incredible flavor. A slight oversight. No biggie. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa is puréed and tasty. A bit of a kick but not over powering. The chips are on the "thicker" side. Preference for the lighter crispier chips though. I've been wanting to try this place for a long, long time. We literally eat at the Indian rest, Namaste Grill and bar next door and it's the best of the best. When I saw the TikTok reviews I knew I recognized the restaurant and couldn't wait to try it. I inquired about Taco Durangos. And she seemed confused but showed me that they did have "fried crunchy tacos" and directed me to the picture on the front. I asked if I could get one chicken, beef and Pork. She's said NO that they were only available in Beef and Lamb....uggggh. I ordered one with just beef to try it. It's a birria taco...it was good. I like the crispiness of it but normally not a fan of the dipping sauce served with the taco. That was the case here. Not a fan. The little service red sauce also lacked flavor...it was HOT. What's standing out the most is the salsa's, green verde sauce included all lacked flavor. Disappointing. The quesadillas were outstanding! Filling and flavorful. My street tacos were underwhelming. The corn tortillas were gummy and lacked flavor in general. Same with the beans and rice. $43.00

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
