Monster Beach - Saturn garnish for the "beyond the solar system" cocktail

Monster Beach

(4 reviews)

I saw this business advertised on Step Out Buffalo , so I brought my friend and her daughter (who…read morejust had a birthday ) to this establishment , as the tiki/monster theme intrigued me . I was a bit disappointed to find that there wasn't much decor in the facility that would give me that vibe . A couple monster sightings and tiki cups, but that was it . The bartender was very engaging . He made the experience for us - he found out it was a birthday for one of us and offered a half price cocktail . I found my mai tai strong, yet sweet (as it should be ) . For food I ordered the chicken bites (I forgot the proper name ) with spicy Mayo dipping sauce . When it came to presentation , it looked kind of dry . But , as I took a bite , it was actually tender and juicy . It was the perfect protein packed appetizer I was looking for . The fries the other guests had ordered were good but could have used more sauce- same was said about the pasta dish . I heard the bartender and some of the kitchen staff will be relocating to NYC . I wish them the best of luck . If you are in the Fredonia area , check them out !

P.s. food and drinks are outta this world - think yummy flavors and thoughtful tiki drinks. Check it out!!!

I stopped by here a couple of Saturdays ago with my wife. We were taking part in the Lake Erie…read moreWine Country Harvest Event and one of the stops happened to be at Sensory Vineyard which was also at the same location as 7 Sins Brewing. If two things weren't enough they also considered themselves an art house and had lots of paintings hanging up around the building. The inside of this place is pretty large with a large bar off to the left side and then some seating and other things off to the right. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I decided to go with a flight here. I actually was able to use my wine tastings on beer here but the size wasn't too good and so I paid the $5 for 4 - 4 oz pours. Since the brewery is named 7 sins, as you would guess some of their beer names are also related to that. So for my 4 beers I went with Gluttony (Stout), Pre-prohibition Porter, Greed (Brown Ale) and Frye PA (IPA). Out of the bunch I enjoyed the Frye Pa with the Gluttony coming in a close second. I also thought that the Greed was pretty good but there was something about the porter which I didn't care for. There wasn't anything wrong with it but my palate just didn't care for it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of the beers that I had here and I think that $5 a flight is a steal.

We found this place by accident, I love it!!! It's small and not fancy but the beer is delicious…read moreand the bartender was really nice. We will definitely be back anytime we pass through!

This was the first winery we visited on our mini wine tour in this area of New York. Little did we…read moreknow, this winery would end up being our favorite! There are beautiful manicured grounds with fruit trees around the spacious winery that has lots of seating options (we took our tasting flight at the bar). There is plenty of free parking in their lot. Bathroom was clean. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by their friendly staff who answered all of my questions about the local grapes and wines. We enjoy dry whites and reds. They did not disappoint. It was clear that they take pride in their excellent product. Every wine we tried was high-quality and we ended up taking several bottles home. We can't wait to return here on our next visit!

There is an outside area with a kind of farm market, then the main building. The building is pretty large. There was a wedding that was scheduled that afternoon and 1 area was off limits. The main building was fine. We went up to the bar area to try. They have beer, cider, slushies, and wines. Lots to choose from. They also have some food. We drank but did not try the food. Christine our bartender was very nice and accommodating. We are a group that is split. We like sweet and dry. I am on the sweet side. It's 3 tastings for $5. So we picked the raspberry and the 2 ice wines. All 3 were delicious. The raspberry was like eating a raspberry. Kinda tart and sweet. The ice wines were winners as well. A few of the girls bought some bottles and we had a glass and sat outside. Now it was a hot day. In the low 80's. The large room in the main building was hot. They have fans on the ceiling but we found out they did not work. The place was crowded and those fans needed to work. Just to circulate the air. It was hot and sticky inside. They have a porch area and we took our glasses outside. Slushies were perfect cuz it was so hot. Overall good experience. Fix the fans and it be a bit better.
