I was a bit disappointed to find that there wasn't much decor in the facility that would give me that vibe . A couple monster sightings and tiki cups, but that was it . The bartender was very engaging . He made the experience for us - he found out it was a birthday for one of us and offered a half price cocktail . I found my mai tai strong, yet sweet (as it should be ) . For food I ordered the chicken bites (I forgot the proper name ) with spicy Mayo dipping sauce . When it came to presentation , it looked kind of dry . But , as I took a bite , it was actually tender and juicy . It was the perfect protein packed appetizer I was looking for . The fries the other guests had ordered were good but could have used more sauce- same was said about the pasta dish . I heard the bartender and some of the kitchen staff will be relocating to NYC .
