Highly recommend. i will say, it is not cheap. but the portions and quality justify the prices.

We had our dog with us so we only planted to get carry out, and then we discovered a shaded patio. We decided to stay and eat outside. I was standing at the host stand for quite a while because I hadn't noticed the seat yourself sign. I had also walked in the restaurant and was looking around for any employee - two servers at a table saw me standing there looking confused but then just went right back into the kitchen. When another guest pointed out the sign, I thought well that's great but if we want to sit outside will they ever know we are there. Someone finally returned to the bar and we were able to get a server. We ended up ordering three appetizers - skoat balls, cheese sticks, peach Burrata. All three good. I also ordered a blueberry mint mocktail beer that was actually quite disappointing. It was also quite a charming little town! Would like to go back again sometime, sadly that is unlikely to ever happen.

We were taking part in the Lake Erie…read moreWine Country Harvest Event and one of the stops happened to be at Sensory Vineyard which was also at the same location as 7 Sins Brewing. If two things weren't enough they also considered themselves an art house and had lots of paintings hanging up around the building. The inside of this place is pretty large with a large bar off to the left side and then some seating and other things off to the right. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I decided to go with a flight here. I actually was able to use my wine tastings on beer here but the size wasn't too good and so I paid the $5 for 4 - 4 oz pours. Since the brewery is named 7 sins, as you would guess some of their beer names are also related to that. So for my 4 beers I went with Gluttony (Stout), Pre-prohibition Porter, Greed (Brown Ale) and Frye PA (IPA). Out of the bunch I enjoyed the Frye Pa with the Gluttony coming in a close second. I also thought that the Greed was pretty good but there was something about the porter which I didn't care for. There wasn't anything wrong with it but my palate just didn't care for it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of the beers that I had here and I think that $5 a flight is a steal.

The one place close to us was the Stockton Hotel, an historic roadhouse that's been around since 1899. The place was crowded with other guests also looking for an open restaurant. We all ordered appetizers, but it took about 20 minutes for everything to arrive because the dishes came out one at a time instead of together. The same issue happened with the salads and entrees -- no one at our table received their food at the same time. One couple ordered the beef on weck sandwiches. The beef was extremely dry and overcooked. Being from Buffalo, I know what a good beef on weck should be, and this definitely was not it. My wife ordered the scallop dinner, which came with only five very small scallops that were overcooked. I ordered the beef tips, and they were so overcooked they were almost like jerky. I sent them back, and while they did remake the dish, it took another 15 minutes. Because of the delay, everyone else at the table had already finished eating before my replacement meal arrived. Our server was around, but overall was not very attentive throughout the meal.
