When I got them I called and asked a question, my question was answered with incorrect information leading me to return the boots. Apparently at that time I was talking to an owner she said she would send out another pair of boots immediately but did not. When I should have received the replacement boots I got a call asking about the boots I returned...When I got the second pair of boots several weeks later they did not fit. If I had gotten correct information on the first pair of boots I would have kept them. I had already paid return postage, I have asked for a shipping label to return the second pair of boots. I have left approximately 8 unreturned emails, at least one unreturned voicemail, probably more, and had at least three people tell me they would call me back and have not. The last two times I have called have been during business hours and I didn't even get an answer! I used to work at Four Winds. Net and never in a million years would we have treated anyone like this!

They're so good about finding EXACTLY what you're looking for. Fortunately, I WAS in town this week and was able to shop in person. On day one, I left with a gorgeous tweed for my husband and a beautiful tie one of sales ladies suggested. (They're perfect together.) I also picked up three girths and two hunt shirts. The second day, I left with a lightweight jacket for myself and a pair of Vogel boots for an unbelievable price. These guys do an excellent job of being fair to their consignors while still bringing shoppers high quality goods at affordable prices. They have an excellent selection of saddles as well and they DO allow trials! If you fox hunt or show, this shop needs to be your first stop before going anywhere else. They've always got something you need and, if they don't, they can help you find it!

She is headed to horse school and needed everything. I know very little about the subject. The owner, Alice, runs a one woman operation in an old country store. Like the stores of old, she offers everything from antiques to riding tack to sharpening services to candy and cold drinks. There is no bathroom, but she can direct you to the farmer's market down the street. No dressing room, but she will diligently protect your privacy while you are hidden by a door and a large shelf. She gave good advice as she fitted my daughter for saddles, boots, and tack. If she didn't have something, she told us where to get it and how to asses it. I looked around and I know we bought quality goods for 60-80% less than the mainstream supply stores.
