Located in the heart…read moreof downtown Bethesda, this store offers middle to high-end brands in casual and work lines. Plenty of Michael Stars, 525 America Sweaters, and some other more unusual very unique boutique lines. A small store with extremely well-selected inventory. But the highlight of Wear it Well, which I feel is best for women 30 and up, is the longtime owners and employees. I walked in today, told them I wanted to toss my wardrobe out the window, and they proceeded (not overselling, not oversolicitously) to help me come up with some great ideas, good combinations, and a host of things I wouldn't have picked out b/c I'm stuck in my own dull clothing groove. They really worked with me to ensure that I found some special things, and I don't think I'll toss the clothes I bought out the window with the others b/c they do push my proverbial envelope. That's what I needed. When the economy hits hard...and even when it doesn't...I make an extra effort to shop locally. Wear it Well is the kind of carefully merchandised, very well-run boutique that will earn your loyalty. Before you drive to the mall, walk down the street and visit these great gals. Watch out...they talked me into buying an absurdly expensive belt even though I don't wear belts. You know, I think it will become one of my favorite purchases ever! Plus, it's so pricey, I'm going to wear it to sleep every night no matter what.

While I was doing the paperwork before getting pierced the two employees were very rude to me and my guardian. They made no effort to make me feel safe during the process. Both of them never made eye contact with us. Also, one of them was very uneducated on what to do. I asked for a "mid" which they told me was a cartilage piercing. The employee marked my ear and then proceeded to prepare the gun. During the piercing I was never told when it would happen she just did it. Afterwards I was unhappy with the result but felt so unwanted that I simply walked away in tears. The piercing was only on my lob and not even on the marking she had made. I would not recommend to anyone.

I had misplaced my warranty receipt for a belly ring that I had purchase at the Wheaton location and thought I'd have to take another day to resolve my dilemma but through her excellent customer service she handled the problem. I love Pagoda and purchase all of my body jewelry from their locations. Their warranty is excellent and definitely recommend it for the few extra bucks especially on the expensive white gold pieces. I've been one of their customer for over 4 years now and never thought to leave a review for any other location (Montgomery & Wheaton) but this one representative certainly made the process seamless. I appreciate her efforts in making my experience worth wild and will continue to remain a customer. Thank You.

There are gifts for children and babies. There is a section for beautiful dining China and cook books. I was fascinated by their pillow section. There were pillows for each state embroidered with things that are special to each place. The DC pillow had cute Panda bears on it. It was just beautiful. Service was excellent. I am sorry, I forgot the sales ladies name but she was so nice and helpful. I really appreciated her assistance. The prices were high, but again you are paying for the unique crafted gifts. The pillow I wanted was $200. That was out of my budget. But, I am sure someone will love it. I will definitely return, because they had a gift selection for people who play mah Jong. I am sure my friends would really enjoy one of their gift items. I am glad I stopped by.

Terrible alterations, terrible service, and zero accountability…read more Mohini ruined my wedding dress and then refused to make it right. First, I gave a budget of $500 and was sold a dress that cost nearly $1,000 while trusting staff to respect my budget. Red flag #1. The dress needed alterations to the chest and sleeves. What I received back looked unfinished, with visible white fabric, gaps in the beading, and obvious flaws in the design. Mohini's defense is that I signed a form authorizing alterations. That's absurd. Signing off on alterations is not signing off on shoddy workmanship. No reasonable customer expects a wedding dress alteration to leave exposed fabric and missing decorative details. The zipper disaster is what ultimately ruined my wedding. About a week before my ceremony, I took the dress out of the garment bag as instructed and discovered that although the dress fit, the zipper separated when zipped. I immediately called Mohini and was told to bring it in. I drove nearly two hours to the store the next day, only to find out nobody was available to repair it. Had I been told that on the phone, I would not have made the trip. At that point my wedding was only five days away. I had no choice but to leave the dress and return again. Mohini repaired the zipper and called me the following day, but I couldn't make it before closing. My fiancé eventually picked it up for me. When I tried it on the morning of my wedding ceremony, it no longer fit. The replacement zipper had made the bodice significantly smaller. The result? I couldn't wear my wedding dress. I had to wear a simple cotton dress for my ceremony, cancel my photographer, and wear a navy dress for my reception. After the wedding, I requested a refund. Instead of taking responsibility, management dodged me and argued in circles. They repeatedly insisted that "replacing a zipper wouldn't change the size of the dress." Whether it should have or not is irrelevant--the dress fit before their repair and didn't fit afterward. This was one of the most disappointing customer experiences I've ever had. Poor workmanship, poor communication, and absolutely no accountability. There are plenty of other bridal shops in the same mall. I strongly recommend going anywhere else.
