Service was fabulous. We had a really nice lady measure my granddaughter's feet. We tried on a couple of pairs of shoes and decided on a favorite. I think the shoes are fairly priced. The opening hours are limited but I was able to get in on a Saturday right after practice. Lots of families were there with the same idea. Just be prepared to be patient to find parking because the location is in a warehouse/garage district. The staff were very kind and helpful in showing me where the bats, batting helmets, gloves and other supplies were. Think about this place like a thrift store - some items are in great condition, some are passable and ok for a season, but you may have to lower your expectations if you are looking for super low prices. But knowing that some new bats are $100+ or even upwards of $250+ a pop, getting a decent one for 50% off retail is great when you don't have the luxury of waiting for sales. And if you are conservation minded like me, the fact that this stuff isn't just getting thrown out and can be used for others is a plus. They also obviously have softball, football, hockey, soccer, and other sport supplies in stock. And the store did not smell like a nasty locker room, which us a great sign.

Every other store in the mall puts the refund on my credit card but that is not Walking Company's policy when one pays with Pay Pal. I found that annoying at the time, but soon after the check for the refund came in the mail. Their inventory is not terribly big, but I have had success finding shoes and boots there. It is worth you time to check it out on line or in the store.

He took the time to measure my foot, ask me about my ski style and picked a couple of boots that aligned to what I was looking for. I felt very fortunate to have had his help. Their prices are competitive and they do know what they are talking about. Their store has a beautiful dog that is leashed to a clothing rack. I gave it a quick pet, but I don't think it's very fond of kids, so be forewarned, and watch your little ones.

My son had already purchased skis in 2024 from an online company, so we expected a smooth experience due to the simplicity of the transaction. Unfortunately, it turned into a 6-month-long nightmare. After two weeks, the owner, Brian, informed us that the bindings would take at least three more weeks to arrive. A month went by with no communication whatsoever. This lack of response became a pattern. After repeatedly calling, I finally reached someone after a month and a half who told me the bindings I ordered weren't even coming in. I agreed to switch to a different model for my son's skis. Later, I learned that they had drilled two holes incorrectly into my son's skis -- a major mistake -- and Brian never informed me. While mistakes happen, not communicating them to your customer is unacceptable. Brian claimed he was trying to find a replacement pair, which he finally found in late October. When I finally went to pick up the skis on November 3, a rude and combative staff member demanded I show a small ticket stub from six months ago. When I questioned whether that was reasonable, she asked for my license instead, showing zero courtesy or professionalism. At that point, after calling half a dozen times over months, you'd think they'd at least recognize my name. The skis I received weren't quite the same, but I took them just to put an end to the ordeal. The customer service is terrible, the communication is nonexistent, and the store itself is messy, unorganized, and poorly managed. Most of the staff seem uninterested or unavailable to help. Save yourself the frustration. If you need something, such as ski equipment, consider a different company than Ski Center LTD. Don't waste your time or money with Ski Center LTD -- they're unreliable, unprofessional, and uncommunicative. No, they are not inexpensive. Shop around, you can always beat their inflated merchandise.

I visited the store with intention to get help finding a suitable work shoes for my problem (flat foot, planter fasciitis, and small bunions) feet. Grayling warmly greeted me immediately as I entered. I informed him the purpose of my visit. First he measured my foot on a speciality digital foot machine. Then helped with picking out several pairs of shoes to try on. My options are limited due to restrictions we are allowed to wear with our company uniform. The ones he selected was perfect for comfort and meets company standards; however we both agreed they were basic but not stylish. Grayling was so patient and helpful during the lengthy time I was there trying to find something. He's super knowledgeable about feet and gave me a few helpful pointers to get the maximum comfort from my shoes. Wonderful first time experience and won't be the last. I was disappointed that I just didn't find anything that day cause I really wanted to purchase something from him. Highly recommend this location! Note - Grayling suggested checking out the Rockville location as they have more selections and stylish options due to the location. It was a totally opposite customer service experience. Didn't get her name but I believe she maybe the owner. Tall brown skin full figure mature women that was so RUDE. She refused to help me in selecting shoes or trying anything on. Only told me (in the most rude manner) " I can come back in two days cause they just got shipment but she's not putting it out, her husband will do it". Reasonably priced Bicycle Repair Shop in the Frederick Area that gets the job done. I came in for…read morea tune up and training wheel installation for a bike that belonged to a family member. The owner Matt did the tune up himself efficiently while I watched, and provided excellent pointers on seating position, explained what the issue were with the bike etc. The training wheel installation was smooth, even though an extra part was required, he ordered the part, didn't price gouge and reached out to me via email as soon as the part arrived and was ready for installation. Dropped off the bike and work was done the next day. Another email was sent to let me know me know the work was done. Definitely would recommend Mark and Joe to my friends if they need bicycle repairs done in a quick and a timely fashion. No complaints, I would just say for some customers they would prefer a phone call instead of an email to let them know the work is done, but I prefer the latter so no complaints on that point.
