Really enjoyed this place. Is a quiet homey pub - nicely located close to the trails. We went there for some beer and sustenance after our long hike. I tried the Roscoe amber and my friends tried the upward lager. Both were really good and served at the right temperature. The salmon burger I had was very good - tasty moist and with good condiments. Everyone's food on the table was fantastic. My only gripe is that the portion size for a $18.5 price point was small maybe the burger needed to be bigger - just wasn't enough food. Great service and place though. The lady serving us was very friendly.

Fun guy

The salmon burger and fries were really good. Fun guy burger was not cooked to order and was really red for my husband. They did comp that burger. Otherwise it's good.

This place was pretty good. Got some cold draft beers and each got a burger and fries. Fries were crispy and the burgers were solid. Not far from metro north, pretty fast service, casual atmosphere. The mushroom Swiss burger and the Rubin burger and both hit the spot. Will definitely stop here again after a hike in cold spring.

Fantastic spot to stop by for a quick bite or a great meal made with actual care. 10/10 service from the bar tender with a wealth of knowledge with local breweries they have on tap. The pub is a cozy with a timely touch of a midwesterner theme that fits the historic ambiance of Cold Springs, it's not the largest that will up charge and can accommodate at least 4-6 people per table. If you're just need a seat at the bar there's plenty of space available! Try their Teriyaki and Honey glazed Brussel sprouts, even if the the owner Doug doesn't quite like Brussels himself.

When we first arrived we said that we were a party of 7 and the host said they wouldn't be able to serve us and walked away. My friend then went inside to ask if it would be fine if we split up into a party of 3 and a party of 4 and they still seemed unwilling to do it but then one of the waitresses said it was fine and they could seat us as soon as they cleared the two tables. A minute later the host came and put up a handwritten note on the door saying "We cannot accept groups of seven or more. Please don't ask" which seemed a bit passive aggressive, but we were able to get seated. Other than the one man, the other waitress and bartender seemed very friendly. The walls were decorated with an eclectic mix of posters and paintings, and the menu had a bunch of funny quips on the back that reminded me of things my grandmother would have lying around her house. The food came out very fresh and in pretty large portions. The chicken wings were quite juicy and flavorful. Other than the slightly sour experience we had when we first arrived I'd say this was a pretty good pub.

Jack and diet coke.

The name and outside would suggest this was a true dive bar but inside feels more "traditional" than divey. The walls are littered with memorabilia and funny signs, while the bar feels a little like stepping back in time. We only had drinks but the staff - and owner - were extremely friendly and engaging and created a very nice ambiance. It's also the bar in town that closes latest. Prices were good. Would definitely go back.

Great bar. Clean place, good vibe. Doug is a stand up guy. Hard to find an honest pub anymore. Here you will find such a rarity.

Gorgeous, kooky pub with fabulous service (/company!) best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. Ordered a second.

One of the things that I miss most about Westchester is the Candlelight. Whenever I get the…read morechance, I stop by at the OG for chicken wings in the NY metro area. They have updated the bar and the dining room. The wood is lighter. The bar doesn't smell like old beer any more. We get there at 11:30. By noon, there's already a long wait. Service is friendly. The chicken wings are a top three rendition. We always order ours crispy. They stopped serving celery on the side a while ago. As a purist, I bring a ziplock bag of celery sticks. I say raise the price of an order of wings by 50 cents and serve celery again! The waffle fries are great. They have a surprisingly diverse menu with a big selection of beers. There are desserts, but I have never been disciplined enough to save room. It's cash only. This is the platonic ideal of a burger and wing joint. Set the celery sticks free!

A fixture on Central Ave since 1955, and family-owned since then. Last time for me was in my…read morepre-Yelp days when I went w best friend, Pots & Pans and his son Unabelly. Still consistently delicious. Large meaty wings and drummies, connected. Lots of sauce, to the point when you break them apart, there's a lot of splatter (I think I hit a kid with some sauce about two tables away). Service very good, prices comparable to other wing places. I asked my waiter how many pounds they sold on Super Bowl Sunday. He mentioned "between 18 and 19 thousand pounds!!!" Wow, double wow. Vast majority are ordered in advance and this year they cut off orders about a week before the game. This trip was a solo run for me. My wingmen were nowhere to be found. 4 very sloppy stars
