Doughology is fantastic! We are vegan and hadn't had doughnuts in quite some time (a few years). I was delighted to hear about the store offering vegan options. When I went to the store the staff were all friendly and took the time to review the vegan options with me and make recommendations when prompted. The doughnuts were delicious! This place has been packed ever since it opened so when I tried going in another night closer to closing it wasn't as bad. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly, even after them having such a long crazy day there which I did appreciate!! The donuts are fresh and very tasty but the service was lacking. These kids making the donuts were moving comically slow. I watched a girl change her gloves and felt like I was watching that Disney movie with the sloth working at the DMV. I waited 30 minutes for 3 donuts. I've wanted to try Doughology for a while and was looking forward to it. I really expected to be writing a great review after the visit but unfortunately I just cant do it. These are not like bakery donuts, Duck Donuts, or premium donuts in any way except the price. The story is great, the staff was nice, ordering and pickup was great but the donuts, well, they are not great. Ordered a dozen specialty donuts to being to a friends house for dessert. We cut them up in quarters to people could sample the different types. The donuts in general are OK, but they are not much different than Dunkin except they are 2-3 times the price and smaller. They were $27/dozen, with some having a .50 or $1 surcharge. The jelly donut was one of the better ones but the jelly had a lot of seeds which some people didnt care for. The oreo donut was very much like an Entenmans chocolate crumb donut but not nearly as good. Churro and French toast donuts just tasted too artificial. Devil Dog donut cream left a really unpleasant after taste. Smores donut looked great but again the after taste just wasnt good and mini mashmallows on top seemed stale. Caramel Apple crumbcake donut also looked great but this one just wasnt good at all. The apple filling according to two people was just really bad, another thought it was OK. The Snickers donut was covered in peanuts which was good and masked the flavor of the chocolate donut which made it better. The Samoa donut again looked great and people said the coconut topping was great but the donut itself wasnt good. I really wish I could have left a great review but I'm sorry that I just cant do it. I really hope the place maybe tweaks a few things and it will do well if it does but I wouldnt go back. Overall the donuts themselves taste somewhat like Dunkin with different toppings but for over $30 /dozen unfortunately I have to say they arent even close to being worth the price. read more

I heard so many great things about this place. However, when I finally tried this, I was disappointed. First, the staff was not helpful. I brought up selections appearing on their website and menu, and the staff stated they have never heard of any of my selections or toppings. So after getting other doughnuts, the donuts were average at best. I wouldn't say they were much better than dunkin donuts. Sadly, I was disappointed. Overall, the donuts are average. read more

Gave this place a second try and the donuts still weren't good, the frosting tasted stale and the fruity pebble toppings tasted like they had been sitting out uncovered for days. I was so excited to finally try Doughology. I was really surprised by how underwhelmed I was. We arrived a little before 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning and ordered four (Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake , Fruity Pebbles, Blueberry Chocolate Crunch, and Caramel Apple Crumbcake). The donuts were not fresh at all- the Caramel Apple Crumbcake was even kinda hard (not stale, just not doughy). We might as well have gone to Dunkin. I had asked which of the donuts had fruit filling inside, and the person helping us told me that the choc strawberry cheesecake and caramel apple crumb cake did. They didn't. They just had the fruit topping in the hole on top. On the cheesecake one, they replaced the drizzle with some strawberry topping. It tasted like when you have lackluster strawberry filling in a blah birthday cake. We found out later that the Rainbow Cookie one and Raspberry Jelly one both had fillings and were available today. Unfortunately, no one told us about them. There was also nowhere to sit inside and eat. We live equidistant from here and Duck Donuts, and I guess we'll stick to Duck Donuts from now on. read more

the donuts were perfectly fine. cool flavor combos. the staff seemed mostly nice with the exception of the girl helping me and my friend. i know what it's like to work in the service industry and i can't say every day i was able to put on the happy face myself but she was having none of our shit. we had never been to this place.while we were trying to figure out how to order i felt like i was failing a test in front of a class. i think when you have a gimmicky donut shop and people aren't going to know how to order, your staff should maybe walk people through it a little better. i felt like every time we tried to order something simple it didn't pan out. we ordered the wrong kind of donuts for what we were trying to leave with (a half a dozen donuts has never been more complex) and when we finally got through the complicated ordering process i felt like i was living the soup nazi episode of seinfeld. the place is clean. the donuts were delicious and fresh (made to order which is cool) staff was mostly nice. apologies to the girl serving us, we didn't know what the deal was. read more
