I used to enjoy buying food here, but quality and portion sizes seem to have gone down, while prices keep increasing. I understand that the increased cost of labor can drive prices up, but it should not affect the quality of the product. If you download their pdf menu the prices are completely off and in most cases almost $2.00 more. If you go to their website pricing seems to be accurate. If you can take the time to keep your website up to date, you should be able to keep your downloadable menu up to date as well. I was unpleasantly surprised when my lunch cost me a few dollars more then expected. read more

The food at Doublz is sooo good and that's what I gave them more than one star BUT the service is horrendous. Every single drive thru employee that has helped me has been so rude and I mean every single time. I took my father out to eat here today as we have not eaten here since I was a child and not only did our burgers taste of cinnamon and the fries were over seasoned but there was this teenager playing some cheap toy drum next to us as we are trying to eat. I tried to be patient but eventually I had to bring it up with the staff and they did nothing it was the mother who was on the other side of the restaurant from her son that shut him up and as soon as I started to walk out the door he started back up. I will never go back to this place again instead I will take my business to Primo's on 10th not only do they have better food but a HELL of a lot better management!!! read more

We (ok me) are tired of the lack of basic customer service skills for example at the drive thru say "Hello" not "can I help you" and don't say "is that all" who says that? Who trained you? And then open the window no hello, no smile, no bye, no have a nice day, I realize you hate your job but while you're on the clock being paid can you fake it? I've been coming here for the chilicheese fries for years, you can share with at least three people there huge. Wish the star was for food, it was for stupid manager. I wanted a patty melt, no cheese made with a garden burger patty. On menu patty melt is 7.99 garden burger 8.99. They told me they had to add 2.50 on the bill to take off cheese and switch the patty. I'll never know if it's good or not cuz I left. read more

What can I say, I absolutely love this place. Lancaster's best kept secret. Doublz is the best burger joint out here. If your looking for something real something authentic, then this is the place. I recommend the chicken sandwich special. Its like 7 bucks and will feed you to the next meal. Also something unique is their beef tacos? This place has gone downhill. Their burgers are smaller than they used to be and their burritos have shrunk as well. What irks me the most is the fact that there seems to be a lack of attention to detail as of late. The other day I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with avocado. There was no hamburger patty inside whatsoever. Today I ordered fried zucchini - and there was no ranch dressing included. Either they no longer include the dressing with the zucchini, or they forgot. The three stars is for the fact that when they do your food right - it's good. My Son took me out to eat here. We used to eat here on a regular basis from 1997-2001. Whatever happened to this once great burger joint, with every meal being a special one??? This place has turned into a horridly mis-managed greasy spoon. Our fries were as thin as paper, while my fries were over cooked, and my sons were overcooked and cold, while my fries came right out of the fryer, my sons fries sat under a heat lamp for 10+ mins. Every so rudely a child with his mother came into eat. The young disrespectful teen banged on his cheap bongos, to our dismay, and discomfort. If I wanted to hear someone bang on drums, I'd go to a concert, or a night club. I am a patient person, but this moment was beyond patience. Not only has the food gone to hell, but the management or lack of, can't manage their way out of a trashcan. My son brought the drumming nuisance to the Mgr, who acted as if she were deaf, and didn't care at all, while doing nothing about this disrespectful ruined meal. I spent 30 years as a Quality Assurance Mgr with Northrop/Grumman; I also ran restaurants (Colony Kitchen, Denny's, Happy Steak) at the young age of 18-21. The proper thing to do by any Mgr., would of been to of warned the child, and his mother, or get 86'd from this establishment, while compensating our meal for the trouble, and rudeness of these customers and these employees. If not for the kids mother, who told her son to knock it off, we would of walked out had we of known what was to come. The child continued to play his drums, as the cooks banged their spatulas on the grill. Yet these people who run this place are lost, in dire need of proper management, and cleanliness. We will never go back to this place again instead I will also take my business to Primo's on 10th not only do they have better food but a HELL of a lot better management!!! read more

Our current favorite place to eat in town! The customer service is OK, but what really makes them stand out is the variety & quality of their food and the fair pricing. My step-dad decided to stop by here a couple months ago to try out their chocolate and banana shakes. Shortly there after I decided to try out their breakfast food and my entire family got hooked. They serve breakfast all day, so we don't have to worry about getting there before 10:30 AM. I love their hours, they're open till 11:30PM 7-days a week, so if you get a late night bug to eat late, it's no problem and they open at 7AM so if you want to eat early Doublz has you covered! For the last 2 1/2 months my son and I go here 1 to 2 times a week, we are literally hooked on their delicious food! My sons favorite is their chili cheese fry with bacon. I also love it too however there's so much of it I can't finish it in one sitting. It usually takes me two days to eat the entire amount they serve. read more
